The ... morelectern rack is missing the single piece of wood of bottom molding. The lectern opens and closes as desired. It has a gadroon edge. It is finished in a dark walnut stain. I think the wood could be walnut the more I look at it in this dark finish. The overall size is 21 inches square and 35 inches high overall. Each section is 10 inches wide, 7 inches deep, 11 inches high and 12 inches high on the bottom shelf. It is missing a few of the brass tacks, but overall it is complete. The bottom of one of the sections has a crack and oval stain, which has no effect on the bookcase. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.

GOLDEN OAK VICTORIAN DOORED BOOKCASE W/ 4 ADJUSTABLE SHELVES & BEVELED MIRROR
This is a beautiful golden oak victorian bookcase circa 1880. The bookcase has 2 glass doors. 4 adjustable shelves, and 2 storage drawers at the base. The drawers have the nice original hardware including key eschusions and locks although there is no key. However the doors doesn't have the key eschusion but has the lock and the working key. The same key does not fit the doors and drawers. The bookcase is a nice size. It measures 70 1/2" tall, 36" wide, and is 13 1/2" deep at the top 12" deep at the shelves and 15" deep at the base. The original beveled mirror on the top backsplash is 10 1/2" x 6 1/2" oval and has a smoky appearance. There is nice trim around the doors. The bookcase is a little loose from side to side but by no means in bad shape. It is very useable without any repair. Email with any ... morequestions. Beautiful Aesthetic Victorian Bamboo Curio Shelf w/ Oak Shelves & Burned Decor
A very nice. Smaller curio shelf constructed of bamboo and oak from the late 19th century in exceptionally good condition. It has some lovely, wavy burned decoration along most of the bamboo pieces. Measures 19" wide. 30" tall at the back, and 7" deep. Shelves measure 6" by 18. Likely would have hung on a wall with figurines. Nicknacks, or small books. Has a bar at bottom that could be used to hang linens or towels. It's a bit small and delicate for a bookshelf. Some wear to shelves but no major stains or other damage. Has an older. Handwritten label glued to the inside of the bottom shelf that reads, Bamboo bookcase from Edinboro farm of her grandfather Reno, given to Joyce. All in all. Victorian Bamboo Stick and Ball shelf- 4 shelves tall
During the Victorian era more and more people were able to afford world travel. As we went out into the world the world's artifacts was being brought to us. Interest in the East: China and Japan. Esp, touched off a trend in art, architecture, furniture and many other aspects of design. Victorian Bamboo furniture- often small pieces but eventually whole bedroom and room sets came up for sale. This lovely simple set of shelves is a classic example of the bamboo style. Measurements: 41" tall/19"wide/ 12" deep. Stick and Ball top; darker stained shelves( which have some glass ring markers-sorry) and a"burnished effect" on the uprights. The shelf is sturdy and in very good condition for it's age. Perfect for books. CDs, knick-knacks, even a small radio or Cell-phone station. It's uses are many. Because of bamboo ... morewood construction it is fine in a bathroom.
