EARLY 1900'S Edwardian BARLEY Twist Solid OAK Wall Mount Magazine RACK. 17" wide. 26 1/2" long. Unmarked. A wall Mount magazine or letter rack. Would also look lovely in the right bathroom with each of the three racks holding a rolled towel. Elegant barley twist repeated 5 times across width. All original condition with a dark natural patina. The bottom rack is not fond of laying up flat, and I have found one tiny rub on the bottom right, except for which this piece is in excellent condition. Completely solid oak.

Made in France Circa 1890 Oak Hand carved Barley twist Locking doors Minor cosmetic age splits, This is a lovely French Renaissance antique bookcase in solid oak. It was made in France around 1890 and is still beautiful today. Large barley twist columns flank the sides and hand carvings adorn most of the piece. The lower cabinet doors feature stunning carvings depicting the hunt and fishing. The handles of the drawers are carved leaves. The upper and lower doors lock with included keys. The bookcase section houses two wooden shelves that are adjustable. ... moreThe bookcase is in two pieces for easier transporting. Overall the condition is very good and the bookcase is quite sturdy. There are several cosmetic age splits to the bookcase as you would expect from a solid wood piece of this age. The largest two are on the lower side panels and some smaller ones are present on the counter top and the upper right barley twist column. The left side crown also has some older damage to it(shown in pictures) These cosmetic issues add to the character of the bookcase and do not detract from it. It is functional and clean to go right into your home. This spectacular antique French Renaissance bookcase is breath taking! The upper interior shelves are 10.5" deep. Each shelf adjusts via an alligator bracket system. The doors have stunning carvings to them. The drawer handles are carved leaves. Here you can see the lovely carved crown of the bookcase. The sides are paneled. Both sides have age splits to the bottom panels. Here is a close up of the worst age split. The left side of the crown has some old damage to it. Huge 96" Long Antique Oak French Barley Twist Dining Table w 5 Chairs ~~GORGEOUS. Well. I don't know where to begin to tell you about this table. I don't see ANY damage to the wood at all. There is absolutely no weakness to the table or any of the chairs.The chairs need to be reupholstered, no doubt. However, the chairs are usable, they just don't look pretty. The table is extremely solid and heavy. There are 5 chairs, 4 side and one captains. The set is solid oak. The are pads to protect it at any size you have the table open to. There is a metal lever that releases the table to unlock it to put in the extensions. Measures 96" long with the(2) 20" extensions. And completely round without the extensions. Can also be used with just one extension. Some of the photos show shadows on the table because my grandsons basketball ... morehoop shaded it when I took the pictures.
