It has rare. Narrow form with 2 doors. The doors are individually paned and the original hammered copper pulls are present. There are 3 fixed shelves and the interior has some minor paint remnants. There are pinned through tenons at the top and bottom of the sides. The bookcase is marked with a paper label and a brand and it is very rare and decorative. And a clever roller latch/ throw bolt system at the top/bottom of both doors. When the right door is opened, the left is simultaneously released. When the right door is shut it forces the throw bolts on the left door to extend into the wood frame at the top and bottom, securing both doors shut. Size: 31.5" wide. 11.25" deep, 47.5" tall on casters. Model 340. Most examples of this form I've seen are 34" wide, this one is 31.5" Great size for fitting in many spots within the home. It didn't really need cleaning and it hasn't been waxed. $85 fee to have professionally packed. Insured shipping via Fed Ex Ground is $210.

$35.00 Shipping Condition: Used Location: Friendswood, United States We are pleased to offer this beautiful antique barrister bookcase. This is made by the Globe Wernicke Company. This is model# 299 and there are two sections ... morethat are D 10 1/4 and two sections that are D 12 1/4' There is a sticker on the back wall of all of the sections. The assembled piece measures 63.25" high and has a width of 34" and a depth of 12" This is the standard style with plain glass doors made from quarter sawn oak. This still has the original felt at the tops in between the sections. There is one section that is missing a piece that is about 2.5-3" wide. It also has the original brass hardware. This came from a Fitchburg. MA estate and has been in the same family since the original purchase in the early 1900's. There are some age appropriate splotches in the finish and light age and use associated scratches and dings. There are paint specks on the base and there is a small piece of wood missing from the front. There is a split on the side of the top section as seen in the picture. Therre is also a burn in the wood. One of the brackets has some light rust on it and three of the knobs are replacements. There are two screw holes in one panel that it appears someone had attached something to it. This is a previously owned item and is being sold as shown. Please view photos carefully and feel free to ask questions. Returns are accepted only if item is not as described within 14 days of delivery confirmation. We document all possible damages and issues with items in our listings to avoid returns. Item must be returned in same condition as shown in photos and documented in listing.
