DISNEY'S PLUTO THE PUP - 1940s VINTAGE WOOD & TIN CHILDS FOLDING CHAIR
This listing is for an authentic vintage child's folding chair. This chair has a wood frame. With a tin back, and pressed cardboard seat. The tin back is decorated with a decal of PLUTO PUP. I can find no Disney trademark or date. Construction would make me think this is from the 1940s. Chair measures 10-1/2" x 10-1/2" at seat, and 12-1/4" wide at top of back. It stands 21-1/2" in total height when unfolded, and back legs are 27-1/2" in total length. This is a used vintage childs furniture item, and is in as found condition. It shows some age and play wear, and may need some light cleaning. There is a bit of oxidation at top of tin on front, some rub wear on wood, and pressed paper seat. One of the chairs has a punched hole at back left corner. Chair is otherwise in very good used condition. This was purchased in Utah in the 1990's at a Pawn Shop where I purchased several Native American item. I am selling my collection as my children show no interest in collecting. Hand Carved Native American Wood Mask. About 12" long at longest x 8" wide at widest I was told this was a Northwest Coast Native Americn Mask. But I don't know for sure, you decide. It looks to me like a Man/Bird mask. It is painted and paint is worn in a few places. Like between eyebrows, as can be seen in pics. Mask paint is a grey(almost a blueish gray) with red. Yellow, orange and black paint for details. see pic It has 3 holes bored in it that I assume is how it was attached with leather ... morethongs to wear and top hole had been cracked and glued and was like this when I got it. Also a line crack below beak near bottom of mask and at side of beak(not sure line crack at beak is crack or made that way) as show in next to last pic. Also same type of crack on other side of beak as shown in last pic. These are the worst of the line cracks I see. I don't know what kind of wood it is. Old mask so look at pics that will best show condition and I will try to answer question. Rare old vintage wood and leather Ecuador braided whip for llamas, alpaca
Rare old. Ecuadorian wood and leather whip. Maybe used by gauchos but I think may have more likely been for on foot herding alpacas. Llamas, sheep or cows. Carved wooden handle with a braided leather whip and tip. 23 inch handle. Whip is about 53 inches Ecuador inscribed on the handle. There is some darkening of leather and minor abrasions but in good shape. Nice collectible decor to go with pre Columbian artifacts. See my other collectibles.
