Hi. I 2 very ancient Valdivia Venus figures for auction. These Valdivia figures are among some of the oldest in pre-columbian and South American history. The Valdivian Culture wasn't even discovered until the mid 1950's. Considering that their culture dates from 3500-1800, it's amazing that no one knew about them until 50 years ago.These are small but detailed little beauties. Some archaeologists think that each one was made to specifically represent someone. I purchased these about 10 years ago from an old collection. They are guaranteed ancient. Hi. I have a great Valdivia Pregnant woman figure for auction. This small figure is extremely old. Archaeologists can't seem to agree on dates for this ancient culture. Dates vary from 3500-1800 BC. For being such an ancient culture, it's amazing that they were only discovered in the mid 1950's. It is believed that each figure was specifically made to represent a certain person, this one obviously being pregnant. This is guaranteed ancient.
