It measures 5' x 6.5' The vase has thicker walls than a typical vase with 2 tone brown color, it also has remains of what looks like white and blue stucco. PRE-COLUMBIAN TRIPOD VESSEL WITH RATTLE LEGS This charming piece of history was handed down by a prominent numismatist located in Sarasota Florida. As the story goes. It is part of an estate left by a local area couple who mysteriously vanished from their watercraft off the southern coast of Florida in the 1960’s and is one of several pieces purportedly retrieved from the diggings of the Panama Canal. The vessel measures approximately 7” high(17.8 cm) by 5 7/8” 14.7 cm) wide at the bottom and 5” 12.7 cm) in diameter at the top. It appears to be of polychrome and is supported on tripod rattle legs with three stylized zoomorphic creatures.
