I have pictured this very clearly along with the rest of the cup. 3 1/8" height, 2 7/8" base diameter, 4" including handle. Weight is 152 grams or just under 5 troy ounces.

This listing is for a dated 1935 bronze medal for the transatlantic ocean liner Normandie. This ship is considered one of the most beautifully appointed of the transatlantic liners. This medal is very handsome. It measures 2 5/8 inches or 7 mm in diameter. The obverse shows a woman freeing a hippocampus. She holds the sea horse's rein and bit in one hand as she bids the hippocampus goodbye. Underneath it is signed"NORMANDIE" and the artist signature"JEAN VERNON" The obverse shows the liner parting the waves. It reads"NORMANDIE 79280 Tx CIE CLE TRANSATLANTIQUE FRENCH LINE LE HAVRE NEW YORK 1935" The edge of the medal is stamped"BRONZE" This is a very rare medal. Kennedy Inaugural Medallion that is in its original box. The medallion that is probably cast in bronze is also signed by the Artist-Gilroy Roberts. The medallion measures 3" inches in circumference and is heavy weighing over 7 ounces. The condition of the medallion is very good with some darker toning areas on the outer edges and some light surface scratches on the back. I am also including in this auction a John F. Kennedy Pin-Our 35th President. The pin looks to be Vintage and is possibly from the same time period but I can not be positive so please use your own judgment with the pictures I have provided of the pin. The pin measures a large 3 1/2" inches in circumference ... moreand seems to be made of enamel with a cardboard backing. There were several varieties of this Inaugural Medallion made. This is the 4 1/2 Troy oz. 999 fine silver variety. It measures about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. This is the Official Medallion. They only made about 15.000 of these. If you collect Presidential Inauguration medals this one is quite rare. They made about 78,000 Bronze ones and they did make 1 solid gold one, but I imagine the Nixon family has it! Look back often as I will be posting much more from a recent acquisition.
