There are a few little spots(see pic) It is stamped WCL Made in China on the bottom. It measures approx. 13 1/2" long x 6" high without the lid and 10" high with the lid. This item is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It was purchased from an estate sale. I couldn't find any flaws or defects at all and I personally would personally classify this piece as being extremely close to"Like New" condition. This piece features the underligned"Theodore" and"Patent Applied For" in the backstamp which dates this piece to the early 20th century. Although this tureen is a very close match to another tureen that I have in my store. They are definitely different patterns with different embossed surfaces. This tureen measures almost 12 inches across the tips of the handles and it's about 6 inches tall with the lid in place. This is a beautiful example of antique Theodore Haviland china. Antique Rare Ironstone White Tureen With Underplate & Lid & Ladle
antique vintage tureen with ladle lid and underplate as shown. underplate is 16 inches tureen is 13 long handle to handle and 10 inches tall. tureen and lid is very nice. ladle could be cleaned/ dipped as it has gravy stains from years of use which is very very common. I would have done it myself had I been back east but here in rural Wyoming I don't know who does it. underplate has a crack as you can see. the ladle by itself is worth more then my starting price. underplate stamped as shown and tureen base stamped as shown. all sales are final and all items are sold as is as found. I do not know what the pattern name is.

ONE OF THE BOTTOM S HAS A CRACK(AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE) THERE IS CRAZING ON BOTH VEGETABLES; BUT THE GOLD IS VERY BRILLIANT ON ALL THE PIECES AND THERE ARE NO CH IPS. THERE IS SOMETHING STAMPED ON THE BOTTOM. BUT I AM UN ABLE TO MAKE IT OUT. THE VEGETABLES ARE APPROXIMATELY 13" LONG AND WITH THE LID MEASURE APPROXIMATELY 5" IN HEIGHT. Up for sale is an Antique Green on White Transferware Covered Tureen or Casserole Dish. This might even be a soap dish. The item is unusual in that it has a manufactured hole in the top for venting. The handles are shaped like wooden logs. This has a Oriental countryside and floral design in green around the sides and top and bottom of lid. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is just slight wear to the design. It does have a molded hallmark on the bottom. But it is just a mixture of letters and I do not recognize it. There is usual wear from age but there are no cracks. Problems or large chips. A few small flea bites here and there. See the photos. It has been used. Offered for sale is a rare Hicks& Meigh tureen. Pattern No. 9. Hicks& Meigh produced stone china from 1806-1822. This attractive fine Staffordshire English tureen is one of Hicks& Meigh's earliest marked pieces. It is expertly printed with a delightful chinoiserie transfer blue and white pattern known as the Exotic Birds. The tur een with lid is 13 inches tall. Handle to handle is 14" The bowl is 7 1/2" tall,without handles is 11 in across point to point. Lid width is 9 1/2" point to point. Inside of lid says Stone China#9 same as on bottom of bowl with the Royal Coat of Arms. No cracks or repairs. One point on the base rim as an old chip-as shown in the photo. Maker: Hicks and Meigh Pattern: Number 9 Tureen c1806-1822 Number 9 as a pattern name. Barely does justice to this energetic design, which is probably ... morewhy it also known as Exotic Birds and Flowers and Exotic Birds, but they are later given names and Hicks and Meigh were quite content with the factory name of No 9. Blue printed backstamp, Royal Coat of Arms, with Stone China beneath and No 9 beneath that. An English expert in Hicks and Meigh told me the holes in the rim are decorative-could have been used to vent steam. Etc. He said this large tureen would have been used for non-liquid items(vegetables, etc) as the lid has no hole. For a blue and white lover. Or a real antique china buff, this tureen is a prize winner! In 44 years of the antique business, I have never had a 200 year old tureen in such good shape plus being beautiful! Overall condition is great with no chips or cracks to make note of and only a slight amount of wear to the decoration. Measures 9 3/4" by 6 3/4" across the center(widest) points of the top edge. This is a really lovely antique or vintage Gilman Collamore tureen in white porcelain with dark pink flowers and hand painted edges. Sorry. I don't know the pattern. It measures 12" without the little handles by 8" wide. In wonderful condition, especially for it's age but there is a tiny chip under the inside rim, see the last picture. Hard to see but it's there. Sorry No Maker Marks but bottom of cover has marks(see closeup picture) and base of dish has so debossed letters(see close up photos) The Base Plate is 10 1/4 inches in diameter. The Dish itself is 8 1/2 inches in diameter at the top and about 3 3/4 inches deep. This Game Pie Dish is in Very Good Condition with No Cracks and I can see No Chips but a few rough spots on the rim edge and on a couple of the chicks beaks. Antique 1815-1830 Blue Transferware JRW Ridgway INDIA TEMPLE Bowl Domed Lid Tureen Staffordshire. Description An outstanding example of John and William Ridgway(JWR) blue transferware in the sought after"India Temple" pattern. Two parts-base bowl and domed lid. When together. It measures 11" wide handle to handle and 6" tall. Stone China. The hexagon shaped bowl features two gold gilt handles and a transfer image on the inside of the bowl. The domed lid is also a hexagon with a gold glit floriform knop and the India Temple transfer design. India Temple is a Chinoiserie pattern. Mark on base of 19th century English Staffordshire brothers John and William Ridgway who worked together and used this mark from 1815-1830. CONDITION: The fact that this piece of earthernware exists in this nice condition today attests to the very ... morehigh quality of the work of the Ridgway brothers during that period. The domed lid is really clean. All I can find is a tiny loss on the side as shown in photo and a few some little black marks in a few spots which appear to be under the glaze. On the bowl. I see one very small hairline on the edge as shown on photo and a two other line marks that looks more that surface blemishes in the making(see photos to judge for yourself) than cracks. On the underside of the bowl, I see a few small blemishes as shown in photos and a small loss along the the rim. Up for auction is a Marked. Empire Porcelain Company Limited of Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, England(Formerly Stoke, England 1896 to 1967) White Glazed Porcelain Pottery, Dodecagon(12 Sided) Art Deco Pottery, Antique Tureen or Serving Bowl with its Lid, Featuring Wide Bands of Colbalt Blue Trim and Gold Trim in"Excellent Plus" Used Condition, Date Coded as being Manufactured in August of 1932. This Art Deco tureen or covered dish is absolutely stunning with it's wide band cobalt blue trim and a bit of gold trim to go along with its dodecagon(12 sided) shape. It has no chips. Cracks, outside scratches, scuffs or repairs of any kind and I'm grading it as being in"Excellent Plus" condition because there are just a few minor glaze crazing lines on the bottom of the tureen and some of it's gold trim has worn away ... moreover the years. Glaze crazing can be very normal with any glazed pottery or porcelain which has some age to it. Worn away gold trim is also normal and when it comes to the gold trim most pottery factories applied it over the glaze so over time it can rub off and wear away. If you use the"Supersize" and"Zoom" features I've provided with the pictures you'll be able to see where some of the gold is now very faint or completely missing. Interestingly enough if you"Super Size" picture 11 showing you a close up view of the maker's mark you can see one of the glaze crazing lines going across the ink stamp mark and please remember the glaze crazing is isolated to the bottom only. Glaze crazing is only a separation of the glaze and it's definitely not a crack in the pottery itself. Even after pottery is kiln fired it can expand and contract from temperature changes from hot to cold. The fired on glaze also expands and contracts from temperature changes, but if it happens at a different rate of time the glaze forms"crazing" lines. It's hard to pinpoint why, but glaze crazing was acceptable with most consumers even though most

Antique 19C. French Tureen Painted Flowers Crossed Swords Hallmark
Estate find antique French porcelain hand painted tureen with hand painted designs and flowers. Not sure of the age though seems to have many many years on it. The hallmark on the bottom I have not been able to identify though an expert told me that it was French made. It does have some issues like, one handle has been repaired, one foot has been repaired and the lid went through a war. It measures 13 1/2" across to handles. 11" high to lid, 7 5/8" depth. I have spent 2 days trying to find this mark, maybe if you are a collector you might know the maker. Antique vintage Chinese Rose Medallion Soup Tureen Famille Rose gold handles
This large soup tureen is a stunning example of the famille rose soft porcelain paste. Rose Medallion china was made in China during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. It is a distinctive design with four or more panels of decoration around a central medallion that includes a bird or a peony. The panels show birds and people. The background is a design of tree peonies and leaves. colored in greens. Pinks, and other colors. It is similar to Rose Canton and Rose Mandarin. The Rose Medallion pattern was especially popular from 1830 to 1930 and it still very popular today. This large soup tureen has a small chip on the underside of the lid and small round discolorations on the bottom. 18th C Antique Meissen / Ludwigsburg Porcelain Covered Bowl - 4 Watteau Scenes
18th C Antique Meissen/ Ludwigsburg Porcelain Covered Bowl- 4 Watteau Scenes You are bidding on a truly exquisite masterpiece of modelling and painting in this beautiful 18th Century(mark from 1764) Antique Ludwigsburg or early 19th Century Meissen Covered Tureen or Bola Bowl. The bowl is 8 inches tall to the top of the darling little boy& girl figurines having a picnic. And 8.25 inches in diameter. The modelling is fabulous and could be Meissen( in fact the piece could be Meissen as Georg Kittel's X trademark is present. Georg Kittel was one of the early Meissen craftsman- early 1800's) with details allowing one to pick up the cover using the little figurines. There are 2 Watteau style paintings on the bowl and also 2 on the cover along with 2 floral bouquets on each, all done in masterful detail( please look at the many photos ... moreto appreciate its beauty) The quality of the porcelain is like crystal, one tap and it verberates for a long time. The porcelain has a swirled effect with a basket weave trim on both the cover and the bowl with a thin gilded line around both pieces. The mark on the bottom is a blue back to back"C's" similar to the Cartier trademark with Pommels under glaze and used by Ludwigsburg in 1764 to 1824. The"X" above this mark could be the Painter or modeller's mark. A famous Meissen painter, Georg Kittel also used the"X" to identify his works.
