It measures approx 11 1/2 inches handle to handle, approx 3 inches high to rim and with the lid approx 5 3/4 inches high to the top of the lifter handle. Oval in shape. Wonderful condition meaning there are no chips or cracks. Made between 1878-1894. No stains either, great for an old tureen.

Antique T & R Boote Large Semi- Porcelain Soup Tureen
This item up for your bidding consideration is an Antique T& R Boote Semi-Porcelain Soup Tureen. The registry number on this piece is#18809. Which places its manufacture somewhere between 1890 and 1906. This tureen has a simply beautiful floral pattern on it. I have looked through many different sites and have not been able to locate this particular pattern. It has gilded edging around both the lid and the bottom, with more gilding around the top lid and the handles. It measures 13 1/2 inches from handle to handle. The main part of the tureen measures 10 1/2 inches long by 7 1/4 inches wide and is 5 inches tall. There are no chips, cracks or crazing on this tureen. There is slight gilt wear on the outer handles and on the top lid, otherwise it is in very nice estate condition. Bid with confidence. Gorgeous. Vintage, Asian, Ming Pattern, Porcelain,Transferware, Soup Tureen. Back of platters says"GRIMWADES STOKE ON TRENT, ENGLAND- MING" Circa- Early 1900's. Tureen measures 11-1/2" wide from set-in handle to set-in handle and it is 9-5/8" wide without the handles; the inside Bowl measurement is 7-1/2" square and 2-3/8" deep. The pattern(Ming" is absolutely beautiful in color and design: It is done in the Asian-Dragon motif with deep, rich Golds& Black with Golf-Leaf trim. Pre-owned in an acceptable vintage condition: with two small flakes under the bowl rim(absolutely cannot be seen) some slight staining in the bowl(very slight and will certainly never be seen while serving food) and base of the bowl is crazed which just shows proof of its age, and personally, I think it adds to its vintage charm. ... moreRegardless of these few little issues, it is still a fabulous piece and its dramatic appearance will almost take your breath away. It is a pure white porcelain with gilt detailing throughout. It is in overall excellent antique condition- no chips. Cracks or crazing. The porcelain is bright white and the inside is free of any staining. There is some areas of gilt loss as shown in the closeup photographs. Antique Tureen Blue & White Porcelain Burgess & Co. Royal China Early 1900's
This is such a gorgeous piece of fine historic china. It was made by Burgess& Co. A New Jersey pottery company that only produced its wares from 1903 on and, apparently, for a very short period thereafter. Burgess& Co. pottery is quite rare today. The company was originally known as Burgess and Campbell until Mr. Campbell was no longer a part of the company in 1903. The back reads, in blue, Royal China Burgess& Co. surrounding a crown. It can be assumed. Then, that this piece dates from the very early 1900s. I would call it a vegetable dish. It measures 9-1/2" not including the handles) X 7" but the actual capacity is not very large as there is a pedestal base. The inside of the bowl slopes downward towards the base. The cover handle and handles on both sides of the bowl are intricate, ornate and very beautiful. There ... moreis a crack on one end of the bowl. Another smaller one on the top rim and a more substantial one on the bottom as shown in the photo but these almost don't seem to be damage to the pottery itself, but flaws associated with age. There is substantial discoloration and crazing and a couple of very small spots on the cover where the glaze seems to have worn off. This would be a lovely piece for someone who collects blue and white antique chinaware because of its graceful shape and size as well as the less common pattern. This was a piece I had on display in my own home for many years but the blue and white phase has passed. It is probably well over 100 years old and it does show signs of age. There is also some damage as noted above. It is being sold as is. This will be sent insured because of its fragility and difficulty to replace. The shipping cost reflects that. Very Beautiful and Large Antique Tureen circa 1850, BB New Stone (Minton)
A beautiful floral with gold tureen by Minton with the markings of BB Newstone for earthenware that was produced from c. 1830-1860. The small circle with a line intersecting it may indicate the exact date of manufacture. Which would be 1856. From handle to handle the tureen measures 11 3/4" the interior bowl size is 8 1/4" the bowl is just under 3" tall; and the lid is just over 3" tall. At about six inches in height this item has a very sculptural presence. Antique Limoges Soup Tureen Lanternier
This is a beautiful Limoges soup tureen in great condition. There are no chips or cracks. Some of the gold detailing has worn off but it doesn't distract from the appearance. The tureen measures 14" long(including handles) and 9" wide. The base is 4 1/4" tall and with the cover. It is 7" tall. The design is a beautiful floral pattern made up of rust. Dark orange, gold, and gray flowers. It is beautifully scalloped on the. Top edge. The markings are visible in the photos.

A tiny flea bite on the inner corner of the lid. The dish has a good amount of crazing and stains(see photo) but the lid seems to be free from crazing. It measures 11 ½” by 6” and is 3 1/2” deep. Outstanding pair of antique early 19thCentury footed English porcelain sauce tureens with handles. Covers and matching underplate stands. Ornately and exquisitely decorated with cobalt blue ground gilding of grape vines, lovely handpainted floral studies and rose handles on the lids, circa 1810-1820 and with no markings but most likely Coalport because of the distinctive Coalport rose handles on the lids. MEASUREMENTS: Each sauce tureen measures 8.5 inches long 5.5 inches wide and stand 6 inches tall the underplates/stands are 9 1/4 inch long and are just over 6 inches wide LET’S TALK CONDITION: Excellent condition for the age with these issues one of the roses on the lid has a small flake to a petal the other rose on the other lid has a missing petal that occurred during the manufacturing process. Antique T.W.Barlow & Son Coronation WareDelft Covered Vegetable Dish
Bowl is 9“ in circumference not including handles. It is made of earthenware. It is a lovely hand painted piece with blue delft painted flowers around the lid& the top of the vegetable bowl. It is stamped on the bottom“T.W. Barlow& Son Ltd. Coronation Ware, England& Seville” This all encircles a crown. Seville is the pattern name. Problems I see with the piece are crazing like crazy, a small chip on the outside of the lid, a smaller chip on outer inside of the lid, a couple of flea bites on lid edge& blurring of some of the blue painting. This piece was made sometime between 1860-1940. Thank you for looking& please check out my other items. I am trying to add new items every week. A Vintage Large Italian Ceramic Soup Tureen. Included is an underplate(measures 14 3/4" in length and 12" in width) Covered tureen and a ladle(measuring 10 1/2" in length) The ladle is not original to the tureen, but it's a close match. Both the bottom of the tureen and the underplate are marked Italy(photo 5) CONDITION: In very nice shape. There's a good amount of crazing. A small glaze flake along the edge of the underplate. The ladle is slightly yellowed. The tureen has some flakes and small chips along the bottom edge. It still looks very nice for its age. I purchase all of my items at auctions. John Alcock VINCENNES Flow Black Mulberry Transferware 3 Pc Turreen 1850s Texas
Just removed from the family estate of south Texas Pioneers Sidbury Family. There is some information on the estate at the end of the listing. Antique flow black or mulberry transferware 6 sided soup/stew 3 piece TUREEN with UNDERPLATE. The TUREEN was made ca. 1850's in Cobridge. Staffordshire region, England by John Alcock in the Vincennes pattern. The TUREEN body has handles on opposite sides mounted over cameo faces. It has an 8 sided paneled base that sits on the heavy matching 8 sided UNDERPLATE. The UNDERPLATED is also handled with a central transfer. UNDERPLATE is in excellent condition with a small factory glaze pop shown in picture. The TUREEN lid is notched for a ladle& has a flower like finial. The finial has been broken off in a clean break and is an old repair. This seems pretty common on these pieces. No damage to the ... moreTUREEN body but has crazing. Sidbury(1830-1904) The builder of this house, was born in north Carolina and came with her parents to Sterling Robertson's colony before the Texas Revolution(1836) She married John Wesley Scott in 1848; they moved to Nueces county, where he died in 1867. In 1875, she was married again to builder Edward D. Sidbury. A civic leader and bank Director, Mrs. Sidbury became manager of her husband's lumber company after his death in 1881. This structure was part of the expansion resulting from the ropes boom of the early 1890's. Colonel E. H. Ropes of New Jersey planned to make Corpus Christi a deep water port. He began dredging a channel across Mustang Island but ran out of money and abandoned the project. One of two rent houses originally constructed by Mrs. Sidbury about 1893 in the bluff addition on upper north Broadway. This gorgeous old tureen measures approximately seven by eleven inches on the top opening. The reddish-brown transfer appears to be in pristine condition with no noticeable wear. Both the tureen and its cover are in perfect condition with no cracks. Chips or breaks. There are a couple of small age spots on the interior of this piece, but I don't feel that they detract from its beauty or usability in any way. The cover has a cut out to accommodate a ladle. T he bottom of the dish is marked T& R Boote with a Registration Number, and, I think, the name of the pattern. Embossed in the same white as the dish is BURSELM. Large sculpted and decorated John Maddox Sons tureen with lid, pink wild roses
The beautiful china tureen from John Maddox Sons is near perfect. Along with the maker's logo on the bottom of the bowl is printed"royal vitreous. England" There are also 3 round spots in the clay which form a triangular pattern where the forming pot stood. A small gold mark and a small red mark there indicated maker's information. There are also similar marks under the lid. The entire piece is glazed. Three small stemmed roses decorate in the insde of the bowl. The bowl measures 9" across the lips, 12" from handle to handle edge, The foot is 5 1/2" the lid is 9 1/2" from scallop to scalloped edge. And the entire tureen, lid, handle and all stand 7" high. With its cover on it is 6&1/2 inches to the top of its berry shaped handle. All similar back stamps that I have found are dated from 1850– 1870. And state that Etruria Factory owned by Wedgwood produced custom patterns for various retailers. I believe Mellor& Co. to have been a retailer. I am continuing research and will update this listing as I obtain more concrete information. I do have a sold for price from. VTG. Soup Tureen w/Ladel Porcelain Footed Blue and White Floral Pattern USA
Lovey Blue and White Porcelain Soup Tureen with Ladle made by Gift Idea's Creation. Philadelphia, USA it operated in Philadelphia from 1935-1955.This Tureen has a Stunning floral pattern, it does have some crazing& a 1/2" crack from inside rim down, but does not affect it's use. With lid it stands 7.50" high, from handle to handle it's 11" the footed base is 6.25"The lid is 7" in diameter, and the ladle is 9.50" from end to bowl which measures 3.25" about 1" deep. Mulberry antique transferware TUREEN With LID - TEMPLE - Excellent condition
This is a large vegetable tureen in MULBERRY TRANSFERWARE IRONSTONE. It is in the"TEMPLE" pattern. Which was produced by the excellent pottery of Podmore Walker& Co. with an 1849 registry. Condition: Outstanding. With all handles& finial intact, no hairlines or cracks no chips. There is only a tiny light stain on the rim of the bowl where the glaze is worn- very minor but mentioned for accuracy. Size: 10 1/4" from handle to handle. 8 1/2" tall with lid. Weight: over 4 1/2 lbs. Thanks for looking- this is a wonderful piece in amazing condition.

THIS PIECE MEASURES 10 1/2" FROM HANDLE TO HANDLE WITH AN 8" DIAMETER OPENING AND 8 1/2" DIAMETER LID. TUREEN IS 3 3/8" HIGH WITHOUT THE LID ON. THE OVERALL DIMENSION IS 5 1/4" HIGH. Here's a beautiful antique 10 inch round Blue and White China Lid for your consideration. I haven't been able to positively identify it. But it's from my mother's estate and she had wonderful collections of Flow Blue, Staffordshire, Blue Willow and Wedgwood china. This one has a knob at the top. looks like it would fit a crock which she also had plenty of. It is unmarked and in very good condition. Antique Soup Tureen (P Regout & Co., Maastricht)
Beautiful antique soup tureen(without ladle) made by P. Regout& Co. From handle-to-handle the tureen is 15" wide From table top-to-handle top is approximately 11 1/2" Overall. The tureen is in superb condition, except for what is shown in the last two photos. The crack( in the handle must only be surface-like. I have tried to put a fair amount of pressure on it. But it does not break. Also, when tapping the crack there is no'hollow' sound, like you would hear if the crack was serious. There is also a bit of crazing to the surface. But it is negligible. This soup tureen would grace the most elegant of tables! PLEASE. Do not leave negative feedback. One person who was new to eBay immediately left negative feedback after being displeased with a purchase that was heavily bid upon.
