The scene appears to be Japanese and the dish is in remarkable ... moreshape for its age. With a nice glossy glaze. The lid and dish are both beautifully decorated. Top handle is a floral decoration and the inside of the dish has transferred designs on it as opposed to being blank. Some of the glaze is gone in a few places. But there are no chips or cracks. There is isolated crazing throughout blank areas of the piece and a few areas of minor discoloration. Inside of the bowl has fine scratches which are only noticeable in the light. The piece has a minuscule mark I could only capture with a loupe on top of it. It resembles an 8 or B with a hook on top of it and a K underneath it. Pearlescent Planters shaped like tureen & Candy dish
A wonderful set of planters that are pearlized in a cream pink& green hue. They are both trimmed in gold and the Soup Tureen shaped one has the numbers 472 etched into the bottom. These are very attractive in color as well as form. The bowl in 4 inches in height and 8 inches in length and is made of 4 sections that are petal shaped. The Soup Tureen is 7 inches in length by 4&3/4 in width and is 3 1/2 inches high. These could be planters or candy dishes. There is a crack in the soup tureen that is more readily seen on the inside(the photo with the red pen is pointing to it. Both pieces are pearlized on the inside and outside and are very attractive.

White Ironstone Covered Tureen Serving / Vegetable Dish T&R Boote Sydenham Shape
We are offering a white ironstone covered serving dish in the Sydenham Shape by T&R Boote. The lid and the base have the diamond-shaped registry mark that matches. The base has an additional“CD” mark that is not on the lid. The lid has a mark of four small squares that form a larger square that is not on the base. The lid fits the base but it is not a perfect fit. The lid also has 4 different areas that have been repaired; only one area is visible on the outside. The base has a shallow chip on the underside of one of the scallops that is approximately 1 inch in length. A small area of roughness is on the edge that is approximately ½ inch in length. Inside the bowl is a small stress fracture and the small dark spots found in early pieces. The flaws do not detract from this beautiful early piece of ironstone perfect for display. The ... moresize is approximately 10 ¾” diameter and 9 ¾” high to the top of the finial. The bowl without the lid is approximately 5 ½” high. Please ask questions. Soft pink rose on one side and white rose edged in soft pink on the other side. Extremely pale soft pastel blue/green above each rose and on the gold trimmed lid. This color is so pale it almost disappears in some lighting. Gold decorative band runs around the center of dish with a ring of raised gold beads, lovely texture change. Details: 1 Soup Tureen with Lid and Ladle: This is an especially rare find being that the entire Tureen is intact with lid and ladle. The Lid is in good to excellent condition. Viewing from the top it is fully intact with no chips or scratches. Not visible but can be felt is a hairline crack that can be seen on the underside. This runs from the cut out for the ladle for about 2 inches. The transferware is overall clear and bright ... morewith a small area surrounding the pattern and bird art work that appears a little fussy and more than likely from manufacturing. The underside of the lid two small chips. One in each corner, the hairline crack as mentioned above and noted crackling to the glaze. Over all it should be noted that this lid is still in good to excellent condition. It is stamped with the Ridgways bow& quiver, Devonshire. Rd No 2302, Rd No 688. Length: 11& ½” ~ Width: 7& ¾” The Ladle is in good to excellent condition The handle has been repaired just above the ladle bowl. This is not immediately apparent. There is a crackling to the glaze and discoloration in the bowl and about 3& ½” up the handle. The discoloration gives off the appearance that it was caused by sitting in hot food/ soup being there is a definite line of where it ends. There is an embossed leaf design on the end of the handle. There are no other markings. It fits nicely into the tureen and gives the feeling that this is the original ladle that came with this tureen. Up for sale we have a most beautiful Caneware Victorian Game Pie Dish on Tray. This covered Yelloware casserole dish has historical significance as a dish used to house filling without wheat or flour to make the crust. And what a beautiful pie crust it is. This was done due to the Wheat shortage from the Napoleonic War when England did not have grain. They used these dishes to make kidney pie as well as fruit filled dishes. That is why the edge resembles Pie Crust. A glorious yellow ware color. Befitting the adorable chicks on the top cover. They are hatching out of their shells amidst a wheat bed of full flowered grain. The Tureen has had restoration before we aquired it. The one chick's head appears to have been the focal point of the restoration. However it is very professional and there is no crack or chips that tell what was. There ... moreare also a couple of flea bits on a couple of the shells. They really look part of the picture of the cracked open eggs. Then there is a half moon crack going nowhere on the edge of the tray. Overall the covered dish and tray look mint. But we are selling As Is with imperfections due to its Antiquity& soft paste nature. This Victorian treasure has been kept for years by those who knew how wonderful it is. The covered dish measures 7 1/2" tall by 7" in dia. The tray is about 9" across. It is marked on the bottom with a large"E& W" and the number 193. We are not sure of the maker of this great dish. It has a nice sheen- no crazing- but there are 2 chips- one on the to edge of the lid and one on the bottom/underside of the lid. Please zoom on the pictures to see close details of these chips. This dish has a lovely and unusual shape and nic colors- photos do not do it justice. This dish measures 10" x 7 1/2" for the lid and the bowl itself measures 12" handle to handle and it is about 3" deep. There is a little number"58" or"68" pressed into the bottom of the bowl and looks like some words pressed into the bottom which I cannot read. And well as a little blue mark which I cannot identify. Vintage 1960's Italian Soup Tureen, Hand Painted Tuscan Provencal Serving Dish
Vintage 1960's Italian Soup Tureen I was told this is a hand painted. Avocado green Tuscan Provencal soup tureen from the 1960s. I am not the expert. It is very beautiful with a young girl on one side and a boy on the reverse side. It is adorned with a red bow handle. Handle to handle it measures about 11 inches. It's signed on the bottom, Italy. I could not find any external damage to this serving piece. However. Inside the lip of the tureen are two chips(see photo) one which appears to be a repair to the inside lip. It has a very nice folk art appeal. Insurance included in shipping cost.

Vintage Duck Soup Tureen Serving Dish Gravy Boat
I purchased this cute Mallard Duck Tureen or Serving Bowl at an Estate Sale. It's so cute and much brighter looking than my photo shows. The duck has a dark green head and gray and brown colors on his feathers. There is a hole on the one side of the top to put your ladle in. No ladle included. There are no chips. There is a missed glaze spot on the top in between two feathers. The bottom has Japan indented but no other markings. Overall light crazing. Very Cute vintage condition. It measures 8 1/4"long x 7 3/4"tall x 4 1/2"wide. This will hold a lot of gravy. Vegetables, etc. It is large and will be carefully boxed for you!

Antique Vintage Porcelain Lidded and Footed Tureen, Dish, Box Marked & Numbered
A very detailed and colorful small lidded tureen. Size: Approx: 8" x 5" x 7" It is stamped with Crowned WL and 1895. Also. Numbered"42" under one foot and Chinese/Japanese marks under another foot. I did some research on these marks. But couldn't find anything. My best guess would be that it is a mid-20th C. Chinese export. Good Luck!

It is white porcelain with a scalloped base and scalloped lid. The handles are a twist scroll and trimmed in gold. There is a cut out for a ladel on the lid. Davenport Sauce Tureen Registration Stamp dates 1852. Fig Design This 1852 Daveport sauce tureen is an amazing piece of early Engligh white ironstone. The embossed foliated patterns of figs and leaves are reflected throughout. The finial reflects the shape of the fig and rests upon an embossed bed of foliage. Included in this lot are the tureen. Lid, and a sauce spoon. The spoon is a cream shade, while the tureen and lid are white. The underneath of this piece has two impressed markings. Both faint. The first is the Davenport Ironstone China mark. The second is the English registration diamond mark: IV-cermamic, B for October, 22(day) D for 1852, and 4-a type of lot/bundle designation. This piece is in excellent condition for its age. Over 150 years. Grindley Lotus flow-blue covered dish/tureen with undertray/charger/serving dish
Beautiful flow blue covered soup tureen in the Lotus pattern; with underplate/charger in the same pattern. That can also be used separately as a serving dish. Made by and with the W. H. Grindley& Co. England potters mark and pattern name on the bottom. It has a pretty cobalt blue decor on borders. Around the side and handles. Dimensions: It stands about 11 inches across from handle to handle. 8.5 inches wide, and 6 inches tall. Condition: Very good condition. Consistent with age. Some imperfections from manufacture, especially the undersides, but also inside the tureen and the sides. Mid-Late 19th C… England. Of oval form, the exterior walls with bas-relief decoration of ferns and deceased game birds, the cover with a relief trophee of deceased birds, a rabbit and ferns, the interior glazed in gloss cream yellow. The underside stamped"8" otherwise unmarked. Dimensions: 5.5" high x 9.125" wide x 6.75" deep. Weight: 2.95 lbs. 47oz. Condition: There are a number of dark rubbing/wear marks to the surface around the perimeter of the dish(it may be possible to scrub these off) There are two surface chips along the underside of the base edge of the dish measuring 0.375" and 0.5" across. Vintage French Art Deco ORCHIES MOULIN DES LOUPS Porcelain Covered Serving Dish Tureen in A1 condition Lovely old Art Deco covered tureen made by the great Orchies Moulin des Loups pottery in northern France. Very stylish geometric design in blue on white. With nice angular handles also highlighted. It is clearly backstamped on the base, which dates it to 1923 or later but, judging by the sharp Art Deco styling, not much later. Measurements: 10 inches across excluding handles. 4 inches deep.
