Vintage White Ironstone Tureen With Melon Shape handle On Tureen Cover
This white ironstone tureen is in good condition with no cracks or chips e xcept for a flea fli ck size mark blemish on the side of the tureen. Not noticeable unless one looks carefully. I could not find a maker's mark on this item. The cover has a melon shape handle. Surrounded by raised leaved. It has an op ening for a ladle. The tureen has two shaped handles with leaves around both handles. The cover and tureen both have rib lines. With its co ver off the tureen is 4&1/4 inches to the top of its rim. The dimensions of its opening are 5&3/8 by 3&7/8 inches. It is 7&3/4 inches across fromo the end of one handle to the end of the opposite handle. W i th its cover on it is 7 inches to the top of the melon shape handle on the top of the cover. The shiping weight is four pounds. The winnig bidder pays the shi p ping costs.

Up for auction is an antique. Vintage white tourine with handled lid. It is stamped"Royal Stone China, Wedgewood& C o. There are no chips or cracks. But there are a few dark spots which look and feel to be places where the pottery was not completely covered in glaze. These do not detract from the beauty of the piece. The dish is about 13 inches long from handle tip to tip, and about 7 inches wide. The piece stands about 7.25 inches tall. It is a gracefully curved oval shape with a small footed base.

Vintage Blue& White Heavy IRONSTONE TUREEN Victoria Ironstone This is a great TUREEN. It is blue and white transferware IRONSTONE. It is the“flow blue” style– the scene(I think) is an England village with English riders in the street. The white is not“white” it is a blue-ish white. The tureen is really great in that both the entire outside of it and the entire inside of it are decorated with the scene. It is double handled. The rim is adorned with leaf decoration. The foot of the tureen is also decorated with the scene. It stands 6 ¼” tall. 11” in diameter not including handles. It is quite heavy– it weights a little over 5 lbs. Vintage White Ironstone Covered Tureen- J.W Pankhurst & C Hanley-MINT
This is a beautiful white ironstone tureen marked P.W. Pankhurst& C Hanley on the bottom. I believe it dates from 1850- 1899. The size is 10" from inside diameter to other rim 7 1/2" wide x 3" high. It is in MINT condition with no chips. Cracks, staining etc. This would be a perfect gift for a cook thinking of Thanksgiving mashed potatoes or stuffing for the Turkey. Vintage Small White Ironstone Tureen-Gravy Soup with Platter Very neat piece~ Mall Tureen measures approx. 6 1/2 inches across from handle to handle The depth of the inside is 2 1/4 inches~ it has a grape motif The top has a handle. Vintage White Ironstone 9" Ladle for Soup Tureen or Punch Bowl
This auction is for a ladle that came with a soup tureen which was purchased over 45 years ago at an estate sale. The ladle could also be used for a punch bowl. The white ladle is a little over 9" long and holds 1/4 cup of liquid. I believe it is made of ironstone. Condition: Good condition for vintage age with some crazing and glaze pops. The back of the ladle has some chip spots which look like they were made during manufacturing. The ladle has no cracks. Please review pictures for more accurate description. White Ironstone Small Vintage Shape Tureen / Covered Vegetable Dish - c. 1865
Offered is this gorgeous White Ironstone Tureen or Covered Vegetable Dish in the Vintage Shape. This shape features oval medallions surrounded by bunches of grapes and grape vines. There is a cable trim at the top of the base and a chain trim on the outer edge of the lid. It has crabstock handles and finial. This piece was produced by E. C. Challinor in Fenton. England circa 1865, and retains their impressed mark. This tureen is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks, or crazing, and only very minimal age coloring. It measures 8 1/4 inches from handle to handle, 6 1/2 inches in width, and 6 inches in height. ~This remains an impressive piece of early White Ironstone and displays beautifully ~ Please email any questions before bidding. Vintage LARGE White Ironstone Ceramic Tureen Soup Serving with 18" Platter Heavy
Here is a very large soup or gravy tureen. It looks like it is made of ironstone or ceramic. Both the tureen and the serving platter are white and very heavy. The tureen is 6 1/2" deep. 10" long and 6 1/2" wide. The height with the lid and handle is 8 1/2" tall. The tureen is in excellent shape with no cracks or chips. The platter is very large at 18" long and 12 1/4" wide. There is a small chip on the bottom of the platter. This is a beautiful and very large set. Great for family dinners! DD2
