Listing is for a 19th century Chinese export tureen. It was clearly intended for the European market. Adopting a very Staffordshire type of scene to decorate the piece. The item measures 7 1/2" x 4 1/4" wide x 5" and is in very good condition with the exception of a piece missing from the scroll handle as seen in photo#9. There is also a small fissure created during firing that can be seen in one of the top corners of the piece. Antique 19th century Queen's Factory Sprig Old Paris Porcelain Sauce Tureen 1800
Fine late 18th/ early 19th century old Paris porcelain sauce tureen and cover decorated in the sprig or cornflower pattern favored by Marie Antoinette- with gilt highlights. The sauce boat and undertray are one piece. Boat shape with pointed ends and applied paterae at each end. Good overall condition- the knop is missing and in its place is an old metal loop as a"make do" repair probably completed in the 19th century. Unmarked though the design elements and unglazed base suggest Queen's Factory or one of the early Paris companies like Nast or Dihl. Finest quality museum piece. Measures 10.25" long x 6.25" wide. RARE 19th Century Soup Tureen Dale and Davis Trenton N.J.
This beautiful tureen is from a local estate. There was a hand written paper in the tureen indicating it was made in Trenton N.J. It is marked as seen in the 4th photo and the only company I can find that might use that mark is Dale and Davis. It is in wonderful condition with only minor crazing on the inside and some stains in the bottom of the tureen consistent with age and use. It measures 13" from handle to handle and the base is 10"X 6.5" I have 3 different covered pieces from this set that I will be listing.

Vintage lidded white ironstone tureen. Probably from mid-19th century England. Delicate hyacinth pattern on lid and bowl. Lid has opening for ladle. Ringed handles on lid and either side of bowl. Lid has some slight yellowing discoloration on top and handle. Bowl has some pitted spots inside and signs of wear on bottom rim. No markings to indicate the maker. Inside diameter of bowl is 6" About 6" tall from base of bowl to handle of lid. A very pretty piece in good condition.

The set consists of: 2 compotes. Each just over 4.5 inches tall and just under 8 inches diameter. One compote has a short tight hairline on the rim that may be a manufacturing cooling crack(the pen is pointing to it in the close up picture) 1 tureen. Just over 10 inches long from handle to handle, and just under 5.75 inches tall to the top of the finial- 1 deep serving bowl with underplate. The saucers are just under 5.5 inches diameter. The cups are just over 2.5 inches tall. Tureen is approximately 6.5 inches tall and opening is approx. 7 inches by about 9.5 inches. One of the handles has an underside chip that is nearly invisible from the top or side. Just from underneath. Typical imperfections of ironstone of this era. Including surface age crazing, discoloration, manufacturing glaze imperfections and inclusions. For your consideration is this 19th Century Small Double Handled Pink& White Tureen with the Lid& Underplate. There is no ladle with this set. On the top of the lid there is a black and pink bird surrounded by flowers. On the lower half of the tureen base are two more painted birds and flowers. All together it measures 6 1/4" tall. The underplate is 1 3/8" tall and 7 1/2" in diameter. The base of the tureen is 3 1/4" tall and 7 1/4" in diameter. The lid is 2 1/4" tall and 5 1/2" in diameter. There are no chips or cracks on the lid or the underplate. There is one short discolored hairline on the top of the base that is easiest to see on the inside of the ... morebase. Antique Aesthetic Period transferware tureen birds thistles bamboo handles 19th
This tureen is decorated with thistles and birds in flight. It has a blue pattern along the border. The tureen is 11 inches wide including the handles and 7 ¾ inches deep. It is 6 ½ inches tall to the top of the lid. The handles on the bottom and top are in the shape of bamboo. The decoration is applied by transfer. The piece dates to the Aesthethic period. Circa 1870. The style of the piece makes us think it is French but it may be English. It is unmarked. There is wear to the gilding on the handles. There is a small chip under one of the handles that looks quite old.

Antique 19th Century Hand Painted Staffordshire Sauce Tureen Up for auction is a charming little antique Staffordshire Sauce Tureen with notched lid. It measures 7" across the handles by 6-3/4" to the top of the branch-form lid finial. The bright white porcelain has gentle fluting and a layered lid. The decoration features a band of pink glaze outlined in deep purple with a light gold scallop design. The three handles are hand painted in deep purple with a delicate leaf and branch design. Trim is a beautiful Emerald Green and Gold. Some wear on Gold leaf on top handle; but I would worry about the age if there were not some wear. Piece is 10" Tall. 10" Across and 15 1/2" Long.

I am proud to offer this very special Mason's Patent Ironstone China lidded and handled serving bowl and platter from the late 19th century. Notice the visually pleasing shape and hand painting of this deceptively simple design. The palette includes mahogany. Ochre, a subtle pale yellow, and gold on the scalloped edges of the bowl and platter. This listing is for a 19th century Ashworth tureen. The hallmark on the bottom dates this piece to October 17. 1879. It is in overall good condition and shows normal wear for an item that is 135 years old. There are three hairline cracks on the piece. All on the same side- two on the outside and one on the inside(please see last two photos) They are not really notable unless pointed out and this piece will make a beautiful centerpiece. It is footed and comes with a lid. It is beautifully hand painted with a white, beige, and green flower motiff, accented in gold paint. 19th Century White Ironstone Vegetable Tureen The base is marked with lion and unicorn crowned coat of arms or crest. Ironstone China and the initials JF(Jacob Furnival) are written below the crest. Bidding is for a beautiful white pedestal base ironstone covered vegetable or gravy tureen. The lid is topped with a leaves and pear shaped finial handle. The tureen handles are a vine or leaf pattern with bleeding hearts on each side. Both the lid and tureen have a ribbed scalloped finger print design and bleeding heart or floral pattern. The gravy/sauce tureen and its matching underplate are completely handpainted. They are painted light green and accented with thick gilding and pierce work. They are also ornately decorated with beautiful handpainted floral decorations. The centerpiece for both pieces features a handpainted English countryside scene. There is a notch for a ladle on the lid. This wonderful set was made in England between 1825-1850. Spode or Davenport are the probable makers. The tureen and lid are in wonderful condition. At this time a huge part of the French limoges market involved selling to the United States' burgeoning affluent class.
