Measuring 13 ½” across the handles and 9 ¾” wide. The tureen is 2” deep. Put on the cover, and it stands 6 ½” tall– to the top of the knop. Surprisingly. The 3 lb. 2 oz. tureen is near flawless. There is a small chip on one handle. Only the cover was involved in the mishap. I’ll show you lots of pictures, included sever of the masterfully done stapled repair. I’ve seen the pattern called“Pagoda. but whatever“Mason’s Patent” junkies call it, it is most certainly an Imari palette. That is the inside of the tureen. Up for auction is a lidded ironstone serving dish or tureen marked Royal Patent Ironstone George Jones. Featured in white. The oval dish has two textured handles and matching lid. Very clean styling lines. The dish stands approximately 6 to 6 1/2" tall with the lid, and measures about 11 to 11 1/2" from handle to handle. The diameter is approximately 7" Stamped in black ink on the bottom is the Lion and Unicorn crest and Ironstone China. The tureen is in fair to good used condition with some light brown spots on the inside. A couple of glaze bubbles that have burst. Very lovely antique dish that looks modern!

Royal Patent Turner Goddard White England Ironstone Tureen Serving Dish - Wheat
Here is a beautiful White Ironstone Tureen which is fairly large in size and was made by Turner Goddard& Co. in Tunstall. England. This tureen was made in the Wheat Pattern during the period of 1867-1874. It is approximately 6 to 6 1/2 inches in height with the lid in place and 12 inches in length from handle to handle. The width is approximately 8 inches. This tureen is in very good condition, I find no cracks or chips on this piece. There are a couple rubbed spots on the glaze on the rim which do not in anyway detract from the beauty of this piece. It would make a great addition to your collection. Elegant Antique Mason Patent Ironstone China Lidded Tureen & Platter 19th C.
I am proud to offer this very special Mason's Patent Ironstone China lidded and handled serving bowl and platter from the late 19th century. Notice the visually pleasing shape and hand painting of this deceptively simple design. The palette includes mahogany. Ochre, a subtle pale yellow, and gold on the scalloped edges of the bowl and platter. The pale yellow glaze, which contrasts subtly and effectively with the natural cream color of the china, is one of the elegant details that make this design very special. RICHARD ALCOCK COVERED WHITE TUREEN & LID ANTQUE BURSLEM ROYAL PATENT IRONSTONE
This covered tureen is in good condition(or very good considering its age) Richard Alcock was in business from 1870-1881. This qualifies his work to be considered antique since it is more than 100 years old. Both the tureen and its lid have no chips or cracks. There are some rough edges(perhaps scratches) on the inner edge of the lid and the upper edge of the tureen itself(where the two pieces meet) I do not know if this is from the manufacturer or from use. There is some discoloration present here and there but mainly on the sides of the tureen which you can see in pictures#7 and#8. There are two spots seen in#7 and a few discolored lines on the#8. There is crazing present which is considered to be age appropriate. The tureen stands about 4" high without the lid and about 7" high with the lid. For your consideration. We are offering a magnificent Burgess and Goddard Royal Patent Ironstone soup tureen circa 1840-1890's. This beautiful piece is in excellent condition. The embellishment on the tureen is braided ropes tied in bows. I've tried to show the detail in my pictures. The mark is clear. There are no chips or cracks and very little wear. The tureen measures approximately 13 1/2" long. 10 1/2" tall with an approximate 7" opening at the widest area. The ladle is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Antique Burgess & Goddard footed Tureen ironstone white Royal Patent
Burgess and Goddard Ironstone large handled soup tureen with lid- no spoon. The bowl part has crazing and some divits. The iron has stained parts of it. The lid is pristine with no crazing. Leads me to believe that it may be a later piece and these two pieces were fitted together later in life. 13 inches long 10.5 inches tall
