This listing is for an antique Theodore Haviland tureen manufactured in Limoges. France in an unknown pattern. It's a beautiful pattern featuring multi-colored pastel floral sprays with gold accents and highlights on a pure white embossed surface. Both bowl and lid are in excellent condition with no perceptible rubbing or fading of the gold or pattern and no cracks, scratches, chips, or crazing. The pattern, gold, and glaze are very strong. I couldn't find any flaws or defects at all and I personally would personally classify this piece as being extremely close to"Like New" condition. This piece features the underligned"Theodore" and"Patent Applied For" in the backstamp which dates this piece to the early 20th century. Size: 13" across. 7 2/4" wide, and 6" high. I have listed this without the lid because the lid I have is actually a little small for it. It can be purchased separately through another listing. This is heavy. Nice old ironstone. Condition: Mint- no sign of wear or use at all. Shiny. All white with no staining or crazing. No chips or cracks or scratches, not even inside. Up for sale is this stunning very large footed Wittelsbach covered porcelain soup turreen. It measures 11" X 15 1/2" and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks just signs of wear to some of the gold edges and the gold edges on the handle as well. There is a very small pinhole imperfection on the lid. It is an art deco design with the trims in gold with blue accents and heavy gold handles and finial. Its base is approximately 10-3/4" long from handle end to handle end. The upper rim of the square bowl is approximately 8-3/4" by 8-3/4" Its lid and its base both have the same mark in green with'Rd. The square serving base of this tureen does not have any chips and its coloring is in really great vintage condition. But it does have discoloration and crazing due to age. The lid does have a hairline crack at its open area where the ladle would rest and runs just near to the handle which is more noticeable on the interior side than the patterned side. The lid also does have three chips on its interior rim with two being small and one being slightly larger but does not affect the pattern side of the lid. This listing is for a 19th century Ashworth tureen. The hallmark on the bottom dates this piece to October 17. 1879. It is in overall good condition and shows normal wear for an item that is 135 years old. There are three hairline cracks on the piece. All on the same side- two on the outside and one on the inside(please see last two photos) They are not really notable unless pointed out and this piece will make a beautiful centerpiece. It is footed and comes with a lid. It is beautifully hand painted with a white, beige, and green flower motiff, accented in gold paint.
