This is a lovely Antique English Edwardian Blue& White Tureen& Plate by Crown Pottery. It is marked Ceramic Art Co Crown Potteries in the Empire pattern and is in good condition. From the registration mark. This dates to 1906. Manufactured in England in the blue version of the antique"Empire" pattern Ceramic Art Potteries china footed tureen with lid, and serving plate but no ladle. It's a beautiful blend of blue scrolls, ribbons, and swags on a milk-white surface. Excellent condition with no scratches, cracks, chips, or crazing. The pattern is strong and the glaze still shines. This round tureen measures about 12 inches wide from handle to handle and is about 3 1/2 inches deep. A picture of all the backstamps are included in this listing. Listing is for a 19th century Chinese export tureen. It was clearly intended for the European market. Adopting a very Staffordshire type of scene to decorate the piece. The item measures 7 1/2" x 4 1/4" wide x 5" and is in very good condition with the exception of a piece missing from the scroll handle as seen in photo#9. There is also a small fissure created during firing that can be seen in one of the top corners of the piece. Antique Tureen Blue & White Porcelain Burgess & Co. Royal China Early 1900s
This is such a gorgeous piece of fine historic china. It was made by Burgess& Co. A New Jersey pottery company that only produced its wares from 1903 on and, apparently, for a very short period thereafter. Burgess& Co. pottery is quite rare today. The company was originally known as Burgess and Campbell until Mr. Campbell was no longer a part of the company in 1903. The back reads, in blue, Royal China Burgess& Co. surrounding a crown. It can be assumed. Then, that this piece dates from the very early 1900s. I would call it a vegetable dish. It measures 9-1/2" not including the handles) X 7" but the actual capacity is not very large as there is a pedestal base. The inside of the bowl slopes downward towards the base. The cover handle and handles on both sides of the bowl are intricate, ornate and very beautiful. There ... moreis a crack on one end of the bowl. Another smaller one on the top rim and a more substantial one on the bottom as shown in the photo but these almost don't seem to be damage to the pottery itself, but flaws associated with age. There is substantial discoloration and crazing and a couple of very small spots on the cover where the glaze seems to have worn off. This would be a lovely piece for someone who collects blue and white antique chinaware because of its graceful shape and size as well as the less common pattern. This was a piece I had on display in my own home for many years but the blue and white phase has passed. It is probably well over 100 years old and it does show signs of age. There is also some damage as noted above. It is being sold as is. This will be sent insured because of its fragility and difficulty to replace. The shipping cost reflects that. Antique Paris Porcelain Blue& White Round Covered Dish Scroll Handles Presented is an antique Paris Porcelain round covered dish dating to the mid 1800's. Likely the 1850s-1880s. It features royal blue and gold gilded bands. The handles feature a scroll design with decorated leaves where they meet the body of the dish. The finial of the lid features the same leaves along with what appears to be a squash blossom. This piece does have some wear to the decoration; please review the photos below carefully. Otherwise. Antique Ridgeways Eng. Tureen in Blue and White Hawthorne Pattern; c. 1842-1867
This is an absolutely wonderful antique piece from Ridgeways England. The tureen is at least 150 years old. The makers mark on this piece indicates indicates that it was made between 1842 and 1847(photo 8) This back stamp is the oldest Ridgeways mark. Take note that there is no location of the maker anywhere in the marks. This is another indication how old this piece is. History has documented that post 1890 there was an act declaring that all makers must have location of manufacture somewhere in there back stamps. This was mandatory for all European makers. It is also marked with the pattern name. Hawthorne. This tureen is done in a traditional blue and white floral pattern, and it is a large oval shape with a cut out for a ladle. The condition if this piece on the outside is excellent, there are some issues with the inside condition which ... moreI will explain in detail. As I said earlier, the outside really looks great, the design is bright and shiny. There are rolled handles decorated in the same floral pattern, and a knob on the lid in a solid blue and white design. The blue color on the the outside is unbelievable considering its great age. On the inside, there is a border of blue/white flowers along the top edge. The white on the inside is very discolored from age, yet there are no chips or cracks( see photos 3 and 4) There are 1 or 2 tiny knicks along the edge, nothing at all serious or concerning(see photo 3) On the underneath, there is a stress crack coming from the stand, luckily it does not go through or show inside. Honestly, the piece is an enigma, as it is so beautiful to,look at on the outside. Yet, as I described, the inside has issues. Technically, since you only see the outside when viewing, it looks great. It is a sturdy piece weighing in at 5 and a 1/4 pounds, and it measures 13 and a 1/4 from handle to handle. It measures 9" X 7 1/2" and is in very good condition with no chips or cracks just signs of wear to some of the gold edges and the gold edges on the handle as well. Lovely Antique White& Blue Ironstone tureen serving dish with Lid. Etruria Transfer ware with soft blue"floral and ribbon" pattern by Mellor& Co. Marked"Ro No 18" This is considered old Wedgwood. This tureen is very old with crazing galore and some discoloration at the base as can be seen in the photographs. no chips. However, there are some hairline cracks near the base(see photo) and inside at the bottom as well as a gaps at the finial handle which appears to have resulted in the manufacturing process when the handle was applied. A beautiful tureen in great condition for it's age. 12" width incl. handles x 10" bowl width x 7.5" height incl. top handle. One hairline. Surface only crack, on the bottom and some crazing but no chips or repairs or breaks that I can detect. Lovely antique white with blue and green motif Homer Laughlin. Hudson tureen serving dish with scalloped gold leaf edged lid. It features a blue bell transfer pattern with green leaves. The handles and the edge of the lid are trimmed in gold leaf. The tureen measures 10 1/2" in length handle to handle by 8" wide to the top of the lid's handle by 5 1/2" high to the top of the lid's handle. Blue And White Frog Covered Tureen Box Serving Dish Bowl Antique 1900-1940 China
Here is a jolly frog lidded tureen or bowl. I searched and searched and found this fella listed for sale in an antique shop in the UK- for 1150 pounds sterling(about $1800 USD) I think that is probably double what it is worth. And I enjoy having a clear conscience and being able to sleep at night, so I've opened the bidding at substantially less. 10-1/2" from front to back. And 6" high. As you can see in the last photo, it kind of dwarfs a 12-oz. soda can. There are no maker's marks or country of origin stamps of any kind. There is a great deal of detail in the patterns of blue glazing. There are two small vent holes where a"nose" might be- I can only imagine how awesome this would look with curls of steam emanating from the inside- like a froggy dragon. This is Chinese export pottery. I presume. It could be used ... moreas a vegetable serving bowl, or as a decorative box for just about anything. I like it because the figural frog appears to be standing upon its own 4 feet. A small frog rides on its back, and serves as the handle for the lid. Froggy happiness fits into any decor. It could be used on the dining table. On the counter, as a static decoration in any room- you could even put it on the floor next to a claw-foot tub to hold soaps and etc.

The tureen has a floral pattern and it is made of white porcelain with cobalt blue decoration on the outside. The lid. Tureen, and underplate feature applied acorns and oak leaves which form the handles for the top of the lid and sides of the tureen and underplate. The bottom of the tureen and underplate are marked with the Worcester crescent moon trademark, and overall the tureen stands about 5 1/8" tall while measuring about 7 5/8" in diameter. It is very clean. And I see no chips, cracks, or repaired areas with the exception of a small chip to one of the oak leaves on top of the lid. There is minimal rubbing to the rims, standard light scratches on the interior of the tureen and undertray, and the trademarks are easy to read. William Morris French Antique Blue/White Rectangular Transferware Tureen– Antique Serving Dishes A lovely and unusual antique rectangular shape tureen made out of off-white earthenware with delicate blue transferware patterns. Made by the‘ Faience Salins’ Company. Who was founded in 1857. This tureen probably dates from the 1880’s-1890 based on the pattern. There are two delicate circular patterns on the lid and on the sides as well as a matching leafy edging around the top and around the pedestal base. The tureen measures 11 ¼ inches from handle to handle and is 6 ½ inches wide. It stands 6 ½ inches high to the top of the knob. It is beautifully made with fine detailing even on the handles and is in overall excellent condition. No cracks and no ... morefissures. It is water tight and there is only one tiny chip on the inside edge of the lid, invisible when in place. The interior glaze is a bit age-stained but intact. Salins’ is stamped on the bottom base. This antique serving dish or bowl comes with a lid. And has only an"S" and a partial"M" stamped on bottom. I wish I could tell you more about a maker mark of this type. There are no chips or cracks in the piece and its sturdy all around. The lid has an EGG shaped handle ontop for easy lift. Overall it measures 10"x9"x6" including handle) Dish itself is approx. 2" deep It's a very nice piece to add to any collection. This is a very very nice Antique tureen It has a lid and a Foo Dog on top This is signed on the bottom age unknown This measures 10 inches long 6 1/2 inches tall This has handles on both sides.I see no damage no chips.Crack or brakes.I bought this a few years ago at a estate sale I have no information on it.this is made pretty heavy and thick very nice piece. Antique Blue and White (Blue Willow) small transferware tureen with underplate
A lovely. Small antique English soup tureen with lid and underplate. There is no mark, but this set is British and would date to the mid 1800's. The transferware pattern is the traditional blue and white Blue Willow. I purchased this at Hemswell Antique merchants in England, seven years ago. I love it, but just don't have a good place to display it. The set looks good together- but not sure if they started life together. Often, the underplates were separate. The underplate measures(approx. 7.5 x 6 inches, the tureen 7.25 x 4/5 inches. Great set! I will pack very carefully so it will reach you in good condition. Any red/orange spots in photo are from the flash.

A very nice antique. Circa 1840's, blue and white scenic transfer Staffordshire china soup tureen. The form is that of silver: claw feet, curved reeded handles, gadrooning, the lid with floral basket knob. Marked underside: Chinese pagoda and bridge, the maker unknown. Tureen measures 9-1/2" tall by 14-1/2" wide at handles by 8-1/4" deep. Very good condition: the lid has two cracks, 2" and 3" starting from the ladle slot. Shallow chip to a claw on one foot, minor nicks to other feet, a couple glaze flakes on handles.

One tiny old nick on the rim of the smaller ladle bowl, but that's about it. All four ladles are still in very good condition.

Beautiful antique Keeling & Co. blue and white soup tureen, England
This is a beautiful old soup tureen made by the Keeling& Co. in England. Both the lid and the bottom have this information: Gloucester K& Co. Ra No 104604. The tureen is 16 inches long by 9 inches across. And stands 9 inches tall. There is some wear to the gold trim and some crazing which is consistent with its age. There are some minor imperfections in the bottom which I have tried to show in the photos, but nothing which affects its beauty or usefulness. It has no chips or cracks, and all in all is in very good condition for its age.
