Vintage John Maddock & sons royal vitreous Tureen
This is a Vintage John Maddock& sons royal vitreous Tureen set. There is four pieces to this set. Starting with the platter. Then the bowl, the ladle and the lid. They are all white with some gold trim on all of them and daisy's covering all four pieces. This set measures approximately 7 3/4in. long X 5 1/4in. wide X 4 1/4tall. There is no chips or cracks in this set. But there is some crazing in them from the age of them. This is NOT a big dish. If you would like more measurements on individual pieces let me know. This is a great set and would be a great addition to your collection or a great gift for the collector in you life. I am sorry about the pictures. Especially for its age! This Covered Blue Floral Casserole Tureen is from the 1890's! It has a blue floral design and a squarish shape. The delicate blue floral design really makes this piece stand out. Especially the handles that are shaped so uniquely! The tureen has some minor wear to it. Such as some small scratches and cracks, as you can see in the photos. Also. The gold trim is a bit worn, the piece can also use a good polishing! John Maddock and Sons Tureen- Made in England This is a wonderful vitreous porcelain tureen from the English Manufacturer. John Maddock and Sons The tureen is an overall off white in color with a wonderful soft brown design of vines with florals and leaves. the florals are embellished with red or yellow coloration to enhance the piece gold embellishments have been addes to the handles. Top handle of the tureen, and top lip of the tureen the listing also includes the ladle. Which I find to be extraordinary due to the age of this wonderful piece This tureen came from a Michigan estate and was treated with respect. rarely used. the piece is 12" wide at it's widest point. 7 1/4" wide, and 7" tall. the pattern of the piece is unknown. But is very similiar to the John Maddock& sons Brown Oakland pattern, with the addition ... moreof red and yellow coloration on the florals. with the exception of some wear on the gold embellishment. The tureen is in very good condition. This listing is for an antique John Maddock& Sons soup tureen with underplate. The bottom of the tureen and underplate are both marked"Royal Semi.Porcelain John Maddock& Sons England" The bottom of the tureen has the number#2100. The pattern is a brown daisy floral with hints of blue and yellow. There are no major cracks or chips on either piece. The tray has a little bid of crazing on it. There is some wear to the bottom edges of the tureen and platter and a few little spots that look like either pinhead sized nicks or factory flaws. Please view all photos for best description. The tray measures 13 3/4" by about 10" and the tureen measures 12 3/4" by 7" and about 7 1/2" tall. I do not know the exact age of this item. It appears to be antique. This is a beautiful vintage rectangular shaped tureen. It is in very nice condition with no chips. Cracks or crazing. There are some manufacturing flaws like three little spots on the inside bottom. It is 6-1/4" high to top of handle on lid and 3-3/4" high without lid. It is 8-1/2" long not counting handles and 7-3/4" wide. It is cream color with a very pretty brown design. JOHN MADDOCK & SONS SOUP TUREEN Royal Vitreous - Pink Roses & Green Leaves
This pattern has a simple but elegant ribbon banding of pink roses and green leaves outlined in gold on ivory white. The top of the lid has another ring of the same roses and leaves with gold accented embossed handles. The scalloped foot also has gold accents. SIZE: 13" from handle to handle. 8" rim diameter. 7" tall. I believe the piece is circa early 1900's and Made in England. It is in excellent condition with no breaks. Cracks or repairs and very minimal gold wear(if any at all)

Vintage John Maddock& Sons Hamilton Green Fine China Item: Covered Oval Vegetable Serving Dish with lid Pattern: Hamilton green delicate floral pattern with golden trim/ accents Stamped: John Maddock& Sons Green Royal Vitreous Hamilton Size: measures 11” handle to handle. Dish measures 9" X 7" stands 5 1/2" with lid. Condition for the age is very good. The only real wear is the gold trim. I have 2 more of this same dish. In similar condition. Look for my other listings.
