Top handle of the tureen, and top lip of the tureen the listing also includes the ladle. Which I find to be extraordinary due to the age of this wonderful piece This tureen came from a Michigan estate and was treated with respect. rarely used. the piece is 12" wide at it's widest point. 7 1/4" wide, and 7" tall. the pattern of the piece is unknown. But is very similiar to the John Maddock& sons Brown Oakland pattern, with the addition of red and yellow coloration on the florals. with the exception of some wear on the gold embellishment. The tureen is in very good condition. I see no evidence of chips or cracks. this beautiful piece needs a new home and we would love to work with you to ship it to someone who would love it as much as we do. This is a beautiful vintage rectangular shaped tureen. It is in very nice condition with no chips. Cracks or crazing. There are some manufacturing flaws like three little spots on the inside bottom. It is 6-1/4" high to top of handle on lid and 3-3/4" high without lid. It is 8-1/2" long not counting handles and 7-3/4" wide. It is cream color with a very pretty brown design. The bottom is marked John Maddock& Sons Royal Vitreous England.
