Situated in Amicable Street and Great Woodland Street, they were succeeded by Wedgwood& Co, the head of the firm being Enoch Wedgwood. The under dish and the tureen are marked with impressed Wedgwood and Co- s tandard name-mark used alone or incorporated in printed marks. Printed blue mark that dates the set c 1890- 1906 There is one small chip on the lid of the tureen and two small chips on the ladle. Otherwise the set is free of chips, cracks or crazing. Antique Cauldon Ware Brown Westhead Moore stamp; Co Tureen. Probably made between 1890 and 1904. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few yellowing spots at the bottom of the tureen and two dark blue spots on the bottom of the lid. The diameter is 11 inches and height is 6 inches. The bottom of the tureen says Cauldon Ware and the names Brown Westhead Moore& Co are stamped into it. It is a very nice piece and great condition for it's age. I acquired this tureen at an estate sale. I do not know its history. Maker, or manufacture date. It is not marked on the bottom. It is in great condition and looks newer, so I hesitate to call it an antique but I really don't know. Stands about 9" tall and is about 10.5" wide. VERY good condition except for teeny tiny chip on inner rim of the bowl. Any other imperfections seem original to the piece/normal. A heavier item for shipping.

You are looking at an antique or vintage E.P CO. Empire Works Stoke on Trent England lidded tureen. If this item could talk I'm sure it'd have some stories to tell as it looks like it's seen a lot. It measures about 8" long(handle to handle) x 5" wide and stands 4.5" tall(top of lid handle) It has lots of crazing in the glaze. Paint wear and fade along with brown spots that I assume are paint wear, age related. Surprisingly, there are no chips or cracks that I can see. There is what at first looked like a crack on one of the handles but I think it's actually the glaze. All in all, for those that collect antique or very, very old tureens, this one would make a nice addition!

Antique Rare Wallis Gimson CLOVER Aesthetic Tureen Black Transfer Ware
This is a wonderful small tureen or covered vegetable dish in a modified rectangular shape. Handles included it measures 10" in length. 7" in width, and 4 1/2" in height. The beehive in the back stamp identifies the maker as Wallis Gimson, a pottery manufacturer in Fenton in the Staffordshire region from 1884 to 1890. The transfer color is black. The lid handle is formed by two overlapping arches. And the glaze has pooled lightly at their base in a pale blue. Design elements include clover foliage and blossoms, also Oriental flowers, sedges with their seeds, and, less pronounced, grape leaves and grape clusters. The glaze on the lid has fine crazing throughout. The interior of the lid has a 1 1/8" chip on one of the small ends, not deep enough to effect appearance or function. There is light staining along the interior ... morerim and lip. The bowl is in excellent condition. With no staining to the interior, and minimal crazing to the exterior. Fine late 18th/ early 19th century old Paris porcelain sauce tureen and cover decorated in the sprig or cornflower pattern favored by Marie Antoinette- with gilt highlights. The sauce boat and undertray are one piece. Boat shape with pointed ends and applied paterae at each end. Good overall condition- the knop is missing and in its place is an old metal loop as a"make do" repair probably completed in the 19th century. Beautiful large antique Tureen. The tureen could be old paris or sevres but we are not sure because it does not have a mark of any sort. The Tureen is probably late 19th Century or early 20th Century. The Tureen has beautiful floral bouquet on the lid and the bottom. All different types of flowers and it has a very simple pattern as well. The size of the tureen is 11 1/2 inches tall and the length from one handle to the other handle is about 15 to 16 inches. Antique English Pinder Bourne& Co Large Soup Tureen Bowl with Lid Indian Tree Floral Pattern. Royal Doulton had purchased Pinder. Bourne in 1878. This factory later became Doulton Burslem. This is a beautiful piece dating mid 19th Century 1864-1880. Measures 8-1/2" tall to the tip of the lid. Bowl 6-1/2" tall, 9" across. 6-3/4" at the base. The piece shows some wear: crazing. Stains, long hairline crack and a chip on the inside of the bowl; hairline crack on the lid. Overall it is in fine condition for the age. It would be a fantastic addition to any collection. So hard to photograph shiny objects) Beautiful tureen and gravy boat are made by Moritz Zdekauer which lat er became known Altrohlau Porcelain. This mark on the bottom dates the pieces around 18 91. Ours is the 4th mark shown below on graph. Condition: GOOD! Soup Tureen has no lid. But there is no flange for a lid to sit, so I don't think it ever had one? Amazingly both pieces have elegant double handles and all is good. The tureen has a little wave on one side from manufacturing. This is not considered damage, just character. For porcelain that is well over 100 years old, this is quite a find! I have shown the gravy boat first in my pictures. F ollowed by the matching tureen. The gravy boat has the best manufacturer ... moremark. The matching tureen just has a number under the glaze. Came from the same estate so we know that it was from the same set. Antique Transferware Capetani Covered Tureen! WOW
This is truly an exquisite antique transferware covered large oval serving dish. The handle is painted to look like a twisted branch with a pair of leaves and raised"grapes" on one side and a raised leaf on the other side. The handles have raised leaves and a bunch of grapes with little"twists" like a grape vine. The decoration has flowers and swags of leaves. Etc. An absolutely outstanding example of antique transferware. The inteior of the bowl is slightly discolored due to age and there is one miniscule nick at the rim-we have photographed, but very very small. No cracks that we can find. The mark on the bottom is hard to read, but looks like"capetani" with a"P" underneath-mayber an"M 78" and an impressed"H" Lovely hard to find piece of blue and white transferware. About 13 1/2" ... morefrom handle to handle and about 6" to the top of the"twig" handle. 7 1/2" across. There are small scratches on the outside from use. Shipping is calculated using eBay's shipping calculator based on package weight and destination. I have closely inspected all pieces and have found a few minor flaws. Overall. Everything looks stunning and is certainly a collection worthy piece. Underplate: On the underplate there is two small chips under one of the handles. There is also a small hairline crack under the other handle. There is some minor crazing and signs of use such as a few surface scratches on the front of the plate. Overall it looks wonderful and has a shiny finish. Tureen Lid: The lid is also in great shape with minimal wear. It does not have any chips but I did notice one 1" long hairline crack that has developed over the years. This crack can been seen around the rim on the bottom side. There ... moreis crazing on the underside of the lid also. Tureen: The actual tureen is in very similar condition to all other pieces. Likely from one of the Bohemian porcelain factories that were at one time or another a manufacturer for P.H. Leonard in one of that company's many incarnations. This particular mark was used by Anna Leonard, who also had decorating studios in Denver, Colorado and Louisville, Kentucky, as well as Martha's Vineyard after 1909. Measures appx. 11 inches long and 7 inches wide. Background is white with light maroon vines. Etc. Beautiful bow shaped handle on lid. Grand condition. For your consideration is this tureen with a lid. The tureen has an impressed mark on the inside of the lid. But I am unsure of who the manufacturer is. The ironstone tureen has a blue flying stork design on the lid and throughout the body of the base. The tureen has detailed designs on the oval handles. This 19th Century tureen and stork pattern is most likely from the 1880s, when American ironstone makers started making octagonal-shaped tureens to take over sales of English imports. The tureen measures 9 1/4" in diameter at the top by 14 3/4" from handle to handle by 6 3/4" tall not including ... morethe lid. Both sides of the dish have a large spray of purple orchids with blue accent flowers and tan and gray leaves. Fancy flower shaped handles on the base and the lid. The lid has 2 large floral sprays also. Measures is 11 1/4" x 7 1/8" x 6" No chips. Crazing, or cracks. Some wear to gold trim.
