The condition being testimony to the fine care it has received over the years. There seems to be a slight indentation at the top on the mirror side, and I tried to show this in the photo above. Not an actual dent per say, so I am unsure if this piece was just manufactured this way? Still, I like to point out any possible defect. Less than normal wear. No dents to the handle or back. Hallmark is the customary Edwardian Script monogram from the Victorian era and the letters appear to be K and B? However. With this style of calligraphy, one could almost find any letter within the ornate swirls. D Being an original Stieff work of sterling art. There is obvious intrinsic value.
