This mirror is supported on two uprights that have the original brass threaded cheval bolts with decorative knobs. It has its original gold gilt gesso liner and intracately original beveled mirror glass. This is a super attractive shaving mirror with an Ogee curved profiled front to the base containing three drawers. Two of the drawers(the righ and left sides) have been professionally rebuilt and restored in addition to all the four finely crafted bracket feet. These are period accurate feet for this mirror and a sizable investment has been made in correctly restoring the base of this mirror. The piece is coming up on 300 years old and pieces don't get this age without some issues and attention being paid to them. Fortunately this was a professional restoration and not some hack repair we inhertitated and need to have addressed. But we did pay appropriately for the pleasure. One other issue worthy of mention-at some point a previous owner had installed probably brass finials with threaded rods on the tops of the uprights. We are offering the way it is. If you would like finials we would be happy to direct you to several sources for them or have something custom turned by our woodworker. This is an fantastic piece and we were lucky to obtain it. If you desire a fancy option we again will assist you but we are selling this with all its present charm. Integrity and rarity. The shaving mirror is 17" long, 8" wide and 23 1/2" tall. I am offering for auction a beautiful antique Victorian style hanging gingerbread style cut out wooden shaving or vanity wall mirror. I believe this is made out of walnut wood. But can't be 100% sure. This is in good antique condition. I picked this up at a local estate auction. It measures 20" high, 12" wide. The mirror is in excellent condition, no cloudiness or damage whatsoever. The original wooden back is still intact with original hanging wire. It more than likely had a porcelain insert in the soap cup, it is missing but all else is in tact. The mirror is beveled and measure 5" in diameter, the stand is 13" h and the base measures 8" in diameter. The patina is old and wonderful and I believe it is silver plate. This is a really beautiful little trifold shaving mirror! I purchased this in upstate New York a couple of years ago and haven't found a place for it in my home. It is from the early 1900s. It has a very French style with the bow on top. Very nice beveled mirrors! Each mirror is just over 8 inches square. Fully extended. This piece is 25 1/2 inches long. Original clasp works fine. The setting and the bow trim seem to be made of solid brass. The mirrors have lost silvering with age. The ivy-patterned paper front is worn as well. Antique victorian bamboo wood framed tri-fold shaving mirror. Open it measures 17" across. 12" tall, closed 11" The center mirror is flanked on either side by two beveled mirrors. On the brass closure is stamped Brevete SGDG LB Patented 1878. The mirror is all original except for the two pieces of wallpaper on the back of the two side mirrors. I have never tried to remove them. The center has a faded maroon leather back with a gold coat of arms. The bottom center panel edge has a sliver of wood missing. See picture. Antique Victorian Small Dresser Shaving Vanity Mirror Dome Topped Wood Frame
Very heavy for its size Victorian dome topped beveled mirror with wooden frame. The mirror has the shape and looks of a vanity or dresser mirror. We cannot see however any evidence on the sides that it was indeed suspended inside a base or stand. The wooden frame is domed at the top and curved at the corners without any visible joints any where that we can see. We are not sure what kind of wood the frame is made of but our guess based on its color is"cherry" The back of the mirror is almost entirely covered with a heavy flat piece of wood which is screwed at the edges holding the mirror in place. The mirror is beveled and looks very old and hand cut. The normal age stains or discoloration are showing through. And these only add to its character. The wood frame is in very good antique condition with only two areas showing a small ... morehairline crack. These are hardly visible. This auction is for an antique shaving mirror with comb& brush holder. It is classic Victorian style with great leaves and fruit pattern on the frame. The mirror might have been replaced at one time. But the rest appears old original. It measures 22 inches high and about 19 inches wide. It is in good and sturdy antique condition. The velvet is worn in spots as expected with a piece this age. Inside the comb holder, the fabric is faded. Antique Arts 1800's Tri Fold Vanity Makeup Mirror Shaving Vintage Victorian Nice
Here is a beautiful antique tri-fold mirror with heavy beveled glass. French style Ormolu decorations of raised applied corners. Beaded and rope design on front and back of frame. The hinges are excellent and it closes with no problems, the glass is very nice for its age with just a little light spotting, the metal gold tone frame has discolorations from age, there are two small dents in the frame, one on the right panel top, the other on the bottom of the middle panel, very small but I think you can see it in one of the photos. There is one Ormolu corner missing. The chain is discolored and one of the mirror brackets to hold the chain is slightly bent. I'm not positive but i think the backs of the panels are leather, two are textured and one is smoother, maybe just the two outside ones are leather and the middle not, I just don't ... moreknow for sure. The mirror measures 22 1/4" by 10 1/4" laying flat, folded up it is approx. 10 1/4" by 7 1/4" It weighs 4.6 lbs. From what I could find out it is from the late 1800's. This is an antique Victorian era shaving mirror. It has 3 panels of 7.5" square. The oak frame is carved. The mirrors are all beveled. The back side is embossed leather I think. Appears to be all original with the original hardware. The mirrors are a little imperfect but not enough to really notice. The only thing I can see that is wrong is the hook on the latch is missing. I love this but again I really don't have room to display it. Antique. Victorian cast iron standing, tilting mirror. This is NOT a repro. The mirror is old, and I believe the original. Heart and scallop accents in the middle, roses and flowers in the corners. Backside is the original panel of wood with chamfered edges. Writing on the back looks like a name and Southport Maine. Measures 17 1/2” x 9 1/2” x 4. Condition- intact with no breaks, repairs, or missing pieces. I have not cleaned it, just dusted it with a paintbrush. There is some dust int he crevices and some of the original paint is flaking. Mirror has some spotting on the back, and some peel lines in the silver back near the bottom edge. Very little rust- backside, under the foot and a light surface on top of foot. It is lovely. The mirrors are beveled and surrounded by very nice brass trim. The brass is ribbed and has wonderful end caps with a intricate design. There is a beading detail along the edges. Very nicely done. The back sides of the mirrors are covered with a pressed leatherette board. The side boards have a pebbled finish and the back side is plain. The back side is what receives the most wear from use and you can see that in the photos. When folded the mirror measures about 10 3/8 inches top to bottom and about 7 7/8 inches across. There is a nice chain on the top if you want to hang the mirror. The chain extends from the top edge of the mirror about 4 inches. There is a ring at the top of the chain for hanging purposes. The mirror panels fold one way. So when you go to fold it you will easily find which way is correct. It is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks and no repairs. The hinges work nicely. There is wear to the board on the back side. Or bottom, of the mirror as already mentioned. The 2 other boards are in very nice condition with minor wear. The mirrors have some wear and there is discoloration, or darkness, along the edges or corners. However, overall, the mirrors considering their age are quite nice. Antique Victorian Industrial Adjustable Metal Bathroom Scalloped Shaving Mirror
This is a very cool looking antique Victorian industrial adjustable metal bathroom scalloped shaving mirror. It dates circa 1890 to 1910. When standing. It measures 8 1/2 inches tall(21.6 cm) and 6 1/2 inches wide(16.5 cm) When totally opened up and lying out flat it measures 11 1/2 inches across(29.2 cm) I've seen a number of these over the years. But this is one of the better made and designed ones. The mirror can be moved around in any direction. As can be expected. It has age related dots, lines and wear to the silver and some light fogging, mostly around the edges. But you can still yourself well. There is a chip in the top left corner of the mirror and one in the bottom corner. But given the way it's made, I didn't notice this until I was photographing because it just tends to all blend in. The scalloping has fairly heavy ... moredirt in it. The metal stand is movable and adjustable. It has its original black paint. Though much of it has worn off. Still, it all seems to just blend in. The back is especially cool the way they attached the pieces. It's a real industrial piece. It weighs just under 13 ounces(366 g)

This item is in excellent condition with no missing or broken parts. It is made from solid walnut and is put together with cut nails. There are beautiful hand craved designs on the sides and top of the mirror. The mirror does show minor wear due to age and it retains the original wooden back. What makes this item very useful. That the lid opens to a compartment for storing items and it also retains the original hinges. It has a beautiful rosette in the middle which was so typical of this era. This is essentially a multi-grooming station since it has a movable towel bar, two candle holders flank the mirror, applied wood turnings across the top and a single rosette by the hat pin cushions. Also has a receptacle area to hold a brush or comb. Made of solid walnut and damage free, the mirror has plenty of silver loss as shown in the photos. Antique Vtg Victorian Eastlake Candle Holder Shaving Mirror Shelf Wall Pocket
This is a fantastic antique shaving mirror with candle holders on either side and a wall pocket/shelf underneath with decorative brass rings. It is in very good condition(there is a crack in the back panel over the mirror. Shown in the photos) but it is sturdy, solid, well-built, and perfectly useable, and the original finish is fantastic with a rich, darkened, aged patina. It is constructed primarily with square nails, and the wood was all hand-cut. The mirror is a replacement and there is are new strips of wood and nails around the mirror in the back. The shelf measures 12" L x 3" W x 17 1/2" H. It will be packed very well and insured during shipping.
