Ornate Brass? Mirror Accented with Cherubs-Free Standing- Estate Find
Ornately designed free standing mirror which appears to be brass. No markings. But beautifully done. Since this is an item from an estate I can not say it's age or maker. I was told it is a vintage piece. It stands 22" high and 12" wide. Very detailed in it's design. The cherub at the top is attached with a screw as a separate piece. And has a bit of play which can be remedied by tightening the screw I imagine. The mirror fits in with small holders similar to how a picture is fitted to a frame. It has a few small black dots and a line showing wear to the back of the mirror. Easily replaced. Beautiful vintage design. This mirror ... morefeatures 3 separate brass framed and hinged beveled glass panels, with the 2 side panels showcasing an ornate floral motif with figural cartouches and winged cherubs. The back of the middle panel is covered with a leather-style board. This mirror sits elevated on 4 decorative little feet, and is finished off with brass scrollwork along the top of the central panel, and a heavy chain for hanging. The hinges operate smoothly, and the mirror can be displayed in folded form in tight spaces. Fully opened, measures ~13in tall X 33&1/2in wide, with a 13in long chain for hanging. In closed position, measures ~13in tall X 17&1/2in wide. Richly patinaed over time, this mirror is in overall good condition considering age, with age-related yellowing, mild soilage, dustiness, and superficial scratches. The mirror itself shows haziness with loss of silvering, and the bakelite has a superficial linear scratch, and loss of a tiny piece near one corner, and within the cartouches which are not readily apparent. This is an antique brass swivel table vanity/makeup/shaving mirror with a cherub and shell motif. There are 3 cherubs sitting among scrolling leaves and 2 acorn knobs to tilt the mirror. The mirror stands 13.25" high and 12" wide from acorn tip to acorn tip. This lovely mirror is in very good condition. Some of the embossed brass has been worn down by use and age. Most noticeably in the half shell on the bottom. The backing is a brown velvet that has discolored(see photos) All slot screws are present holding the mirror onto the frame. Antique Vanity Mirror Cherubs Brass Colored Cast Iron Vintage
Here is an antique oval vanity mirror with an ornate cast iron frame featuring five cherubs. Flowers, and other designs. It measures 11.5 inches wide and 9.5 inches high; the bevelled mirror is 6.5 by 5 inches. It is marked"309" on the back, but has no other maker's mark. I think this originally had an easel stand on the back so it could sit on the dresser top. But someone has modified it to hang instead. The front of the frame is painted a brass color(the picture of the whole mirror represents the true color better than the closeups) it has lost minor amounts of paint. The mirror reflects well, but has some scratches and spots.

This piece is from the late 1800's and is made of sand cast brass. The base and frame are just amazingly detailed with flowers and leaves. The mirror is held to the base by 2 small cherubs at the pivot points. The bse is also helud up by 2 angels and a very protective cherub at the apex of the mirror. The back has heavy arms to hold the old mirror in place. There is some silver loss to the back of the thick. Beveled edge mirror. The footed base carries the same floral motif and has a small seashell shaped catch for you small jewelry items. The base is held together by some very interesting small nuts, they are an irregular shape and therefore quite early. This measures 16 1/4" x 10" overall, and the mirror itself measures 6" x 7 3/4" We are calling this shabby chic due to some very tiny bumps and dings collected over may years of enjoyment. Good Luck! Outstanding Jennings Bros. Large Oval Brass Putti Cherubs Vanity Mirror
Wonderful antique brass mirror features oval beveled glass mirror with intricate puttis or cherubs on either side holding the end of a drape holding fruits and flowers. The top displays the head of two cherubs. This is an easel style vanity or dresser mirror and is in very good condition. Mirror is intact with very minor silvering loss on the bottom right edge behind brass decorative frame. We believe this was made by Jennings Bros but could not locate any trademark. Easel stand is in very good condition. Measures 16 1/4" wide at midsection x 15" wide at the base x 13 1/4" tall. Wonderful piece of Victoriana!

Estate sale find. An ornate Victorian age; gilt metal framed; oval beveled mirror. The frame measures roughly 10 ½” x 10 ½” The beveled mirror is free of chips or cracks. The ornate frame features cherubs, floral decorations, and lattice work. The frame is marked NB&IW with the pattern number 2000. This piece is made by the National Brass& Iron Works which operated in Reading PA. from 1891-1911. The foot of the easel is broken off, but the mirror still sits at a nice usable angle.
