We are proud to offer this incredible Victorian shaving stand. Made of Mahogany with burled Walnut inlay. This piece features a swivel mirror and storage drawer, sitting atop a ringed, minimally fluted central column with a wonderfully carved tripod base. The single drawer has an inlaid front and dovetail construction, reinforced by small square nails. There are three small hooks that have been added to the interior of the drawer. There are brass fittings throughout the piece. It is sturdy and stately, and features period detail that is sure to impress. Vintage Swivel Vanity Dresser Mirror with Drawer Ornate Victorian Style
Beautiful swivel dresser mirror with drawer bought by my grandparents in the early 1950's. Measures 21 1/2" tall. 16 1/2" wide and 8" deep. I believe it is walnut, but I'm not sure. The finish is walnut. The wood above the mirror has decorative carving. Ornate spindles with antique brass knobs/turns hold the mirror. In nice condition with a bit of wear and scratches. Those spots can be touched up with Old English Scratch Cover. Or some other kind of wood restorer, or the whole piece can be painted for a shabby look. Brass needs cleaning. Cottage Style ~ Vintage Wood Swivel Dresser Mirror ~ Maple Wood Here we have a vintage dresser mirror of the type that used to swivel on a pair of dresser posts. The dresser and posts are long gone. So we are selling this mirror“As Is” The mirror outside frame measures approximately 34” inches Tall x 22” inches Wide. The inside glass dimensions measures approximately 25-1/2” inches Tall x 19” inches Wide. This is a heavy old-fashioned piece made from Maple wood. The top embellished scrollwork looks similar to a Federalist style of ornamentation. Condition: There are a few scratches on the front bottom of the wood frame and behind the frame up on top of the scrolled wood piece shows a few pieces of wood missing. But does not detract to the shape in front of the mirror. See Photos) A wood worker could easily cut a template piece and glue it ... morein to give it more strength. The mirror hangs on wall with picture wire. It also has the holes on both sides of the mirror where dresser posts used to fit into it. I do not know the age of this piece, but I’ve had it in my possession for about 20 years and believe it to be from the late 1940-1950’s, even 1960’s maybe. This antique swivel mirror is made of cast iron and/or cast brass and contains its original beveled glass mirror insert. Although it's difficult to make out all the words. I'm sure that the back is marked with the words"Verlag bei E. G. Zimmermann Hanau" My assistant has just pointed out that there is actually a diacritical mark over the"m" and the"n" rather than doubled consonants, so maybe this will help to date the piece for those more knowledgeable than I am. I don't see any numbers, so I'm guessing that this may date to pre-1850, but this is based on information I culled from other listings, etc. so please do your own research if this is important to you. This definitely dates to the 19th century and was made at the foundry of E. G. Zimmermann in Hanau, Germany. The mirror has no cracks. ... moreAlthough there is age-related damage to the silvering, as well as an approximately 3/4" scratch near the top and a tiny chip on the bevel edge of the mirror near the top. My sharp-eyed assistant noticed when photographing the mirror that one of the back feet doesn't sit quite flush with the tabletop. I've owned this for a year or so without ever noticing this. The entire frame measures 12&3/4" tall x 8&3/4" wide. And the base is 4&3/4" deep. This has a lovely patina of age with some verdigris to the finish. It is a double sided swivel mirror- Normal view- And magnifying views. The Art Deco metal work is beautiful- The base is designed in a floral. Leaf and rope pattern. Scrolling feather and a floral wreath run up the pedestal with a garland of flowers trailing up the sides of the stand frame. Mirror angle can be adjusted by the side screws and this comes completely apart so you can replace or clean the parts. Quite ingenious the way it is made. It is oval shaped and swivels with a magnifying mirror on one side, and a beveled mirror on the other. The base of the mirror has wood that the mirror sits on and below that is a metal base. The base is decorated with crowns that have a fleur de lis on the top, with two fronds on the sides. There are four of these sections. There is a piece at the top of the mirror that has a crown on it also. The metal around the mirrors have an etched design on both sides. The piece is in good vintage condition with age appropriate wear and patina. It has not been cleaned and is estate fresh! This lovely vintage mirror stands 13 inches tall and is 9 1/2 inches wide at the base. I believe it to be cast iron. Definitely some type of heavy metal. It has natural patena and has no breakage in the mirror itself. It features a coin/jewelry scoop in the front which does show some rusting. The mirror is encased in a celluloid or some type of composite materials in a ivory color, brass but very detailed art nouveau plaque on top, beveled mirror, metal frame that allows the mirror to swivel, and a molded decorative brass cast iron base. Backside of the mirror is all ivory color and has a silver metal plaque with inscription. Mirror measures overall 12 1/4"in. tall, up to 8"in. wide, glass mirror alone is 4 3/4"in. round, and the base is 4"in. wide. EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION. 1900 - 1940 Antique Brass & Metal Oval Dresser Vanity Swivel Mirror
Brass Bronze& Metal Oval 1920's Miniature Vanity Mirror. Overall main structure is holding together pretty good. Clips that hold mirror in place are no more; mirror being held in with tape. Base is scratched up a bit and needs a little TLC to bring back to pristine condition. I haven't cleaned this piece outside of warm water to knock the dust off. Picked up at an estate sale. See photos for reference. Measures approximately 7.5" tall and 4" wide. Weighs 6.8 oz

Antique vintage nickle chrome silver tone swivel tilt vanity mirror cherubs VYGD
This mid-century or earlier adjustable tilt swivel mirror is very good condition. No chips or cracks. No scratches on the mirror Sticker on blue felt backing reads Silver Plated made in Hong Kong. Cherubs and a seashell in the design. It measures about 12 1/2" tall and 8 3/4 wide. Check out photos. Very nice piece.

12"+ ANTIQUE Wood Wall Mirror with Swivel Hat and Necklace Rack OLD VINTAGE
Very sweet antique oval wall mirror with side racks that swivel outward. I believe for holding hats. The first 2 pictures show the racks opened up and closed. There are also 3 pegs at the bottom for holding jewelry or other accessories. Completely wood construction, no visible nails. Back has chain affixed with screws for hanging, total length when hung including chain is approx. 17" Chain is semi-rusty but still very strong with no weak spots. Mirror frame measures 12 1/2" x 10 1/2" Complete piece is painted with several layers of black paint. In very good condition with slight wear/dents to the frame. An authentic antique. I would estimate the date of this mirror to be between 1880-1920.
