Victorian era Gesso/gold gilt mirror EXCELLENT
This is a fine antique Victorian era mirror in gold gilted Gesso. As you can see in the pictures most of the gesso work is near perfect for its age, in the last 2 pictures it may some aging(minor fissures) but nothing that is really noticable. The mirror came from the same estate as the table its on(not for sale) and the piece is an excellent example of that era, mirror has no flaking or crazing of any kind, I CANNOT include freeshipping on this item because it must be packed well and carefully so no damage occurs, must be insured as well, dimensions are 28" 1/2 inches wide x 20" 1/2 inches high measured by mirror, a little higher if on center because of ornate top, so add about another 4" inches if you are interested in on center. Beautiful late 1800s British Victorian mahogany dresser top vanity mirror. Made of mahogany veneers. Solid mahogany and pine secondary woods. The piece has two pull-out drawers and a center storage area with lid. Overall measurement is 25 1/4" wide x 31 1/2" tall x 12 3/4" deep. Finish is in very good condition. Brought back from England in the early 1970s. Weight is 23 lbs. MIRROR: Swivels on two brass hinges which can be opened to remove mirror. Mirror can be accessed by removing wood panel on back. Which is held in place by simple brass turn latches. The thick mirrored glass is in very good condition with just a few very small discolored spots(photo was edited to remove reflected items) Solid carved mahogany posts hold mirror in place and are fastened using a wood nut and bolt(hand-tightened) These can be accessed by removing ... morethe two drawers. Mirror frame measures 18 1/4" wide x 24 3/8" tall. Glass area is 15 1/4" x 21" tall. Small dowel(included) holds mirror in proper position. Provenance: The mirror was bought from a lady who purchased it from a gentleman living in an old Victorian home on the banks of the Ohio River in Jeffersonville. Indiana. She was very particular about it's history and claims it came up the Ohio River from New Orleans in the late 1850's. Glass is excellent. Original, and has old wood board backing. Excellent Shabby Antique Ivory Wooden Framed Beveled Hall Wall Mirror
This is an excellent charming antique wall mirror with a very old coat of ivory paint that has a crackle appearance because of its age. The frame is wooden and very sturdy and the glass is thick. Heavy, and beveled all the way around. There is some cloudiness and streakiness from age, but overall, the mirror looks very good. There are no chips or cracks. This is perfectly useable and hangable and has a look that is very versatile; use it as-is or add something to it(antique hat hooks perhaps) There are two screw eyes and a chain attached to the back for hanging, but I'm not sure if the chain is strong enough to hold up the mirror and would consider upgrading to a heavy wire. This is an excellent antique wall mirror in a wooden gold gilt frame with floral gesso accents and border all the way around. It looks like the gold was re-painted and there is only one tiny chip missing from the frame and one spot that was touched up. Otherwise, it is near-perfect. The mirror is also excellent, thick and heavy, crystal clear throughout, with only a few small black spots from age. The paper is intact on the back and there is a wire attached for wall hanging. Excellent Antique Gold Gilt Wood & Gesso Framed Rectangular Beveled Wall Mirror
This is an excellent antique rectangular wall mirror with an elegant gold gilt wooden frame with floral gesso accents. Both frame and mirror are in very good condition. There is no missing gesso on the frame. But it does look like it was re-painted a few times. The paint is a nice, rich, metallic gold that is smooth and even, and a good color for the age of the mirror. The glass is beveled and seems heavy and thick, images are clear throughout, but it has a faint streakiness to it with a few tiny specks of missing silver. The back has been re-covered with paper and there is a wire for wall hanging. The outer dimensions of the frame are 17 3/4" L x 31 3/4" H, and the mirror measures 14" x 26" I will pack it very well, double box it, and insure it during shipping.

Probably walnut, and is highlighted with black paint. It measures 16" long and is 9" wide. The mirror itself is clear and undamaged and is held in place by an oval piece of walnut that is held in place with 4 screws. Genuine Antique English Mirror in Excellent Condition
I have a genuine English Antique Mirror that measures 59 1/2 inches tall(almost five feet) and is 38 1/2 inches wide. It has never been repaired nor does it need repair. it is heavy and all the joints are tight. Everything is original. The glass has some age blushing. But there are no cracks or chips, just age related surface features. I would welcome anyone who wants to view it before bidding. Its a very unique, ornate, and beautiful piece.
