This lovely piece is constructed of mahogany. And features beautiful sweeping lines. Definitely antique, we would date this piece to c1880. The cheval or dressing mirror has a warm. Aged original patina, with a beautiful mellow tone and natural sheen. The frame of the mirror stands on shaped, splayed feet with original casters. The base of the frame also has lovely shaped detail. The mirror itself is ... morearched to the top- simple lines. But very impressive! The mirror has an overall measurement. Including the timber surround of 164cm high, 57cm deep and 85.5cm at its widest point. The actual mirror measures 129cm x 68.5cm, including the timber surround.
