It has and overhanging cornice. Turned pillars and the cornice is decorated with balls. It has had restoration and some repainting before I got it. PAIR LARGE ANTIQUE TALL ITALIAN VENETIAN GILT IRON BRASS WALL MIRROR PALLADIO?
We are very pleased to offer this magnificent pair of antique(1920s-1940s) mirrors. These large mirrors feature beautiful gilted iron and brass frames. They are very much in the Palladio. Italy style in terms of their pattern and frame design. The gilt iron frames are heavy and feature a"suspended" outer frame which is connected to the inner frame by a series of ball shaped connectors. The frames are then embellished with ornate yet simple scrolling curves on the corner sections and are topped by a gilt brass, large, fleur de lis. The mirrors are very old and because the backs are missing, they have some scratching to the mirrored coating on the backs. They are secured in the frames with the original wooden border which is fitted on the inner side of the frame on the backs of the mirrors(see picture 11) The backs of the frames are ... morefinished in red, again suggesting Palladio as this was common with Palladio mirrors. Because the backs are missing, there are no manufacturer's stickers. However, the frames are numbered on the front side in the upper section. These are exceptionally designed mirrors and frames. The finish is in very good condition with little evidence of age or wear. We can ship either with the mirrors or without. You can choose this option. The mirrors probably need to be replaced if you don't like the"aged and worn" look. I have had them hanging in my home for a while and I love the aged charm.just a personal preference. I believe the frame is made of wood, and gold leaf. An appraiser gave us an age of the mirror made circa 1920-1930. Measures aprox 44" tall and 27" wide. The back has a wire for hanging, and the back is covered in plain brown paper. Looks incredible in a foyer or dining room! 1890's Victorian Beveled Pier Mirror with Carved Eagle on Top, 105" Tall
This is an old Original 1890's Victorian Pier Mirror in Beautiful Condition with a carved Eagle on top. Measures about 105" tall. 36" at the widest part, and 12" deep. Has been repainted gold, all trim and carvings look to be there and in good condition. Has the original beveled mirror in nice condition with minor spots of missing silver. The top is beautifully carved with a fantastic eagle perched at the very top. I think the top is made of plaster, like the old frames, as it is formed on about a 45 degree angle. But there are no hooks or hangars on the back. There are some spots in the mirror. There are no chips. The wood frame is approximately 5 1/2" thick on top. There is some fading on the mirror and wood finish. There are wood planks on the back of the mirror. Some of the top ornamental woodwork may need to be tightened.

Up for your consideration is a vintage mirror with the marking BEDO 900 on the back. The mirror width frame. Widest points measures 10" The actual mirror width is 8" The tallest height of the mirror frame is 7 1/4" The actual mirror height is 5 5/8" It does have about a 10" chain attached to it, when hanging there is a space between the chain and mirror(highest point of frame) being 2 3/4" The mirror is in overall good condition with a few very small specs. The frame is in good condition as well but does show light wear from use. The wear is around the edges and rims. Please look at all the photo's to get your opinion on the condition of this mirror.
