My wife and I bought a house in February and attached to the walls were these giant Antique Victorian mirrors. They don't fit our style. So, we've decided to sell them. Here are a few facts about them: 7ft Tall 3ft Wide 150lbs each(around that) Wooden construction with carved accent pieces 100+ years old. We were able to determine the age by a newspaper that was stuffed behind the mirror to act as insulation. It was dated February 2, 1916. The house itself was built in 1895, so, the mirrors could be that old, or even older. They're in decent condition. Some refinishing work and they would look amazing. I've based the starting price off what I've seen similar mirrors go for. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. I could have easily sold them separately but I just think they belong together in a wall setting. They are miniature antique Empire mirrors. They measure about 6" by 3 3/4" and are about 1/2" thick. They have an eagle looking left on the top and amazing intricate filigree detailing around the entire face edge. Presenting a pair of VINTAGE ornate Victorian beveled wall mirrors with BACCHUS HEAD on top(known in Greek and Roman mythology as the god of wine) And an unexpected beautiful blue faceted stone mounted on the bottom of each. On the back side of the stones(see photo) you'll see a"hole" to let the light show off the color! These mirrors are surrounded by ornate, swirled filagreed cast iron with a brass/bronze finish. I could not find a maker's mark, but, based on other similar mirrors that DO have the Bradley& Hubbard name, I believe these are also B& H. Offered is this gorgeous set of antique mirrors! They feature a shabby off white paint. Ornate carved details, scalloped oval shape, beveled mirrors and wood body. Each mirror measures 34" long and 12.75" wide and weighs almost 13 lbs. These mirrors are absolutely lovely and used to be attached to an antique vanity in a tri fold manner with a larger mirror in the center. The mirrors have their hinges still attached so you can attach them to another mirror or add hanging hardware to the back and wall mount. These mirrors are very old and have some wear. Up for consideration is a fine pair of complimentary Venetian hand carved wooden mirrors with shelves or brackets at the base. They measure about 28 inches tall by about 18 1/2 inches with a depth of 5 inches or so. By complimentary I mean there is a left and right side. They are partially gilt with a limed finish with tan overtones and a little gold showing here and there. They are very good looking. Both mirrors are slightly discolored with light staining and pitting. Just enough to show that they have some age and old world charm. The dater probably from the 1910 or so.
