Antique Italian Rococo Style Carved Wood Hand Painted Framed Mirror 20 x 12 1/2
This is an absolutely beautiful Antique Italian Rococo Style carved wood and gesso mirror. Looks like it was carved from a single wood panel and is intricately painted with the most amazing details. So much detail. One would find details like this on a full sized piece of furniture. Hand painted with very intricate details of roses, flowers and the like. Base color is a rich deep creamy gold color which more than likely was originally an oil base white. Detailed with moss green and a profusion of red flowers embellishing this wonderful piece. Nicely varnished in clear giving this piece a wonderful warmth. Stands approximately 20 1/4 inches tall and measures approximately 12 1/2 inches wide and wood is over 1 1/2 inches at it's widest thickness. Painted Venetian Mirror. Exquisitely hand carved and painted, outer dimensions 21" X 14 1/2"mirror dimensions 6 1/2 X 8" Decorated with small red flowers and greenery on a gold background. Other flourishes in shades of green. No breaks or repairs but has small paint chips that can be easily touched up. Back is finished nicely. Hanger is hammered. The mirror itself appears to be new. Beautiful soft patina, gently colored by age. The background is a rich golden yellow.

Vintage Cast Iron Hand Painted Vanity Standing Mirror
No reserve auction. This is a vintage vanity mirror that is hand painted on cast iron(I think it is cast iron as a magnet sticks to it) It stands 14 1/4 inches tall with the mirror having a diameter of 10 inches. There is a raised number on bottom of stand but I did not find a maker name. The mirror has a bevel edge and some normal wear. The mirror looks foggy because it is reflecting the table top. AMAZING VICTORIAN HAND CARVED WOOD HAND PAINTED FLORAL BACK ETCHED ROSE GLASS WALL MIRROR An absolutely stunning Victorian era mirror. A very rare piece. And you are not likely to see this quality, in this condition at auction often. Some specifics: Measures 44" X 18" Handmade solid wood with gilt finish. Colorful hand painted miniature painting depicts a strolling couple. The miniature measures 4 1/4" X 3" Tinted rose glass features a beautiful rose gold colored floral back etching. And is secured by three florets. The glass has some small back spotting areas but overall a very clean, clear mirror. Condition is superb with no cracks. Breaks, or problems of any kind. The makers stamp is on the upper back of the piece(see photo# 8) But is very faint and I can't make it out. Take a close look at this piece. And don't ... morelet it slip through your fingers.
