It has slotted ... morefinish rack on the base. The flip down lid reveals a multi-shelf interior. There are no keys, but the lock is intact. There is a velvet insert on the lid that is soiled. It has a bevel edge on the top that is rough and could use a sanding. There is a fancy cut out. It has brass curved gallery with a circular bevel glass mirror on the top. The overall size is 21 inches wide, 15 inches deep, 48 inches high overall and 38 inches high to the top. The pull-down lid is 17.5 inches wide by 13 inches high. It has two brass trim pieces on the bottom corners of the pull-down lid. Some minor silver loss on the mirror adds charm and character.

It has incised carvings, lots of burl, and a beautiful example of renaissance furniture. It is 66 inches wide, 92 inches tall to the center crest, 83.5 inches high on the side posts, 5 inches deep on the bottom, and 5 inches wide on the posts. It is all original untouched. It has a personalization on top of the crest of 3 gold gilded letters that I cannot make out. It has gold gilded trim; gold gilded liner and it is simply beautiful. There are a couple of small pieces of molding missing on the base that I believe we can detail. There is a hole on the center of the personalization, which I believe must have been a finial at one time.

The mirror is beveled and in good condition. there are a few small crack were the joints are on the front. Not sure if they have opened up or meant to be like that to look more antique. Vintage Antique Collectible BARBOLA mirror England Bevelled Retro Art Deco
Vintage Barbola bevelled mirror with stand. The mirror measures 12" round with flowers on the top portion. The flowers are of various colors from yellow to various shades of red. There are several small hairline cracks on the flower portion of the mirror that are not very visible unless you look very carefully. The mirror has one scratch that is noticeable on the first picture on the left side and also there is discoloration on the upper portion of the mirror by the flowers. This is a gorgeous antique mirror. All original. This gorgeous mirror dates to the early 1920's and originates from England! This antique mirror is just incredibly gorgeous and quite large! The mirror features 3 panels and is a tri-folding mirror. The center mirror is the largest and this piece tilts up and down. Both side mirrors open and close on the sides. All mirrored panels have an incredibly large and most gorgeous sprays of pink cabbage roses and florals in blues, creamy whites and mixed in among green leaves! All panels have a gorgeous pink ribbon along their borders. The barbola roses are not the typical gesso roses, instead, all of the florals are made of a hardened material and hand painted. This gives the florals an incredibly realistic look! In excellent condition for its age, this gorgeous mirror has minor flea bites to ... moresome of the rose garland. Antique Edwardian Art Nouveau Bevel Mirror Carved Hardwood Framed Aston England
This is a Beautiful Antique Edwardian Art Nouveau Bevel Mirror in Carved Hardwood Framed. Made in England by Aston& Sons Ltd. The original maker's plaque on the back is shown in a closeup photo. The mirror was originally mounted on a small dresser or similar piece. As found. It has a picture wire for hanging as a beautiful wall mirror. With its small to medium size it is an extremely versatile piece and it would be a great piece of decor in a bedroom, family room, living room, bathroom, foyer, or as a focal point at the end of a hallway. The frame has a beautiful carved crown in high relief. The wood has a wonderful patina with a very warm glow. It is definitely hardwood. But we do not know what kind specifically. It could likely be a fruitwood or nutwood. It does not appear to be mahogany, walnut, oak, nor maple. The beautiful mirror ... morehas a wide bevel. There are a couple of condition issues noted below. The overall maximum dimensions are 22 1/2" x 17" x 1 1/2" The framed mirror weighs 7 1/2" so you need to provide secure mounting. Especially if mounted on drywall, and a minimum of two hangers would be very advisable. Condition Frame The frame is overall in wonderful condition as you can see from the photos with just a couple of issues to note: a couple of very minor nicks or scrapes on the wood. Many on edge surfaces. on each side panel is the outline of the dresser mounting hardware. And the attendant screw holes. One side is shown in a closeup photo Mirror The mirror looks great. But it does have a couple of fairly minor condition issues: around the edges. There are several spots of missing silver. These are right at the edge and are not very noticeable. on the interior. New England Antique Federal Mirror circa 1812 - 1822 Boston Mahogany Old Eagle
A better than average Federal period Mahogany wall mirror with original American Eagle cast in bronze. Retains original gold guilt- not painted- finish. These mirrors were made in the Boston area and were hung prominently in the better homes of their day. Original finish, old repair to the wood. Mirror glass was replaced in the 1930's or 40's. 40" high x 20" wide. Retains original backing boards- one being 16" across the grain. I estimate the age at 1812- 1822 due to the quality and form of the eagle compared with earlier examples. Compare with similar mirrors offered at much higher prices- and they have broken eagles or lesser quality eagles. This was purchased and is currently in New Hampshire. 60 miles from Boston. Overall a very wonderful piece. I love it! I got a good deal- so you get a good deal.

Research I've done indicates it was probably made in the early 1900’s The mirror frame measures approximately 39.5” W x 27.5” H x 1” D. With a 2” wide frame at the front. Overall, including the intricate scroll work, it measures: 48” W x 37“H. The mirror has a ¾+” bevel and shows no signs of silver imperfections. The oil lamp sconces(John Scott? are attached(but removable) to 7” L. arms that swivel and can be adjusted to any height. The brass lamps have duplex(2 on each) wicks that are stamped“Made in England. One is almost perfect; the other has one small(approx. ¾” dent and two very small and almost unnoticeable slightly flattened spots(approx. ... more¾” on the bowl. These minor imperfections should not detract from the overall beauty of the piece. As they are nearer the bottom and can be faced toward the back. Please see photos. Lovely Large Older Octogan Shaped Beaded Trim Oak Frame Mirror From England
This auction is for an Large older octogan shaped oak frame with Jacobean Accents as well as having lots of bead Trim and Carved accented trim around the outside edge with a beveled edge mirror from England. This is a true wall mirror. It did not come off a dresser. The clarity is very good for it's age. It has some small dark spots on the silvering. This is an older mirror, more than likely 80 to 90 years old or older and for it's age& travels it's in good overall condition but it is not Perfect. It has a newer back on it and newer mounts for the wire. It's still a wonderful older mirror that would make a Great entry mirror, bathroom mirror, over-the-mantel mirror or hall mirror. Vintage Mid-Century Convex Mirror Made In England
Vintage convex mirror. Made in England stamp on the back. Once had a chain attached that is no longer there. Some one attached a wire in it's place it looks like a long time ago. Can be easily removed and an alternative hanger could be added. In very good shape other than some wear on a couple of spots on the edges, as found in storage, still dusty.
