There are some age flaws to the mirror glass itself, there is some light peppering in some spots, in the lower edge at the bevel there is some crazing with a bit of lifting to the reflective mirror coating, there are several scratches to the glass and in a couple of spots near the edge where the nickel frame meets the glass there are faint lighter areas beneath the glass. Absolutely STUNNING Vintage Gold Gilt Mirror Vanity Tray Upside down hearts with a single rose in the middle completely surround the mirror. The heart itself is made of many tiny little flowers. I am unsure of the manufacturer. TRUELY A SPECTACULAR PIECE! Nice large size. Measuring approximately 19" x 14" The gold finish is still in excellent condition. The mirror has two long surface scratches along with a few smaller ones. The large ones both measure about 4" long. This is a very high quality antique 19th century wood and bronze tri-fold oval portable vanity mirror. it is made by hand from nice dark stained oval pieces of wood which have acquired a stunning patina over the years, the inlaid mirrors are also oval shaped and have a great beveled edge. there are three mirrors in total and open and close on 4 side industrial looking bronze hinges. the mirrors also have bronze knobs at the ends which can be used as feet or finials. depends on which way you would like to sit the mirrors. it folds into the side of one panel to be able to transport the piece wherever desired. it is in nice antique shape measuring 21 inches by 9 1/4 inches when completely opened and 7 1/2 by 9 1/4 inches when closed. there are also two circle hooks on the middle panel to be able to mount to the wall. very nice high quality vanity ... moremirror. Brass Bronze& Metal Oval 1920's Miniature Vanity Mirror. Overall main structure is holding together pretty good. Clips that hold mirror in place are no more; mirror being held in with tape. Base is scratched up a bit and needs a little TLC to bring back to pristine condition. I haven't cleaned this piece outside of warm water to knock the dust off. Picked up at an estate sale. ANTQ/VTG Pittsburgh Lamp Brass & Glass Co P.L.B.& Co Oval Beveled Vanity Mirror
This is a wonderful early 20th century beveled vanity or foyer mirror. Generous in size. It measures approximately 13" wide and 17 1/4" tall. It is marked on the back(see photos) P.L.B. Co. and the numbers"893" though it could also be 898) The Pittsburgh Lamp. Brass& Glass Co. operated from about 1901 to 1926. Nicholas Kopp founded the original Kopp Glass in 1900. He was a renowned chemist. And built the company on his knowledge and ability to hand mold beautiful lamps and tableware. In 1901, Kopp took on new partners and renamed the company Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass and Glass Company(P.L.B. Co. specializing in lamps. Prosperity didn't last forever for Nick and in 1926 he went bankrupt. He reorganized and renamed the company Kopp Glass, Inc. Signal lenses, light fixtures, lamps and vases were the core of Kopp's ... morebusiness. That's why this mirror is SO VERY RARE AND UNUSUAL. I have not been able to find a single example of this mirror with the P.L.B. Co. marking. I am speculating that it is brass. But it could be something else. The thing is, I think Kopp would use the same materials as his lamp bases, so it is a fair assumption that this was made of like materials to his lamps(which go for thousands of dollars at auction today. The mirror is in very good condition. There is some wear to the patina in places. Consistent with age, use and handling. There are some"spots" on the mirror which tell its age and one very small chip on the very outside edge of the oval, left side near the metal. see last photo. Does not detract from the mirror at all, in fact, I never even noticed it until I started to take a really good look at it to list. Any slight wear, etc, is overshadowed by the mirror's soft patina, its lovely swirls, spray at the top, and scallop shell at the bottom. I also think the crossed"x" ties around the edge of the mirror itself gives the piece weight. Not too over the top; just the right mix of designs. A substantial and unique piece. Made in Pennsylva

The top displays the head of two cherubs. This is an easel style vanity or dresser mirror and is in very good condition. Mirror is intact with very minor silvering loss on the bottom right edge behind brass decorative frame. We believe this was made by Jennings Bros but could not locate any trademark. Victorian Vanity Oval Mirror, Heavy Cast Metal with Fleur de Lis Design Frame
This is a Victorian heavy cast metal vanity mirror with Fleur de Lis design. It stands by itself with folding leg. The oval frame has a beveled glass mirror. It measures about 11" by 10-1/2" It has a very dark patina. I believe it was probably silver plated but the high edges have copper showing. I think it still looks great and is a very unusual design. The beveled mirror has several places where the silver is missing. Can be used as is or re-silvered. Would also make a fantastic picture frame. Please feel free to e-mail questions prior to bidding.
