Vintage Old NOS Ornate Syroco Hollywood Regency Gold Wall Mirror 4411
Being offered for sale. Is a vintage NOS Syroco hollywood regency style, style 4411, gold mirror. It still has the original Syroco Finest Plate Glass sticker on the mirror, and has the original manufacturer tag still attached near the top, although the tag was ripped in half. It is in excellent condition, with very minor wear from being stored over the years, nothing really significant. No chips or cracks as far as I see. The mirror itself measures approximately 19" at its tallest point, and 12 3/4" at its widest. Measured from the outside of the frame, measurements are approximately 31" at its tallest point and 19 1/2" at its widest. What you see in the picture(s) is exactly the item(s) which you'll receive. This is an earlier version of a Syroco Federalist style mirror. Up for auction is a vintage Syroco vanity mirror. The mirror is made by the Syracuse Oranmental Co. Syroco is a combination of wood compound and casting fluid that were poured into a mold. The mirror is from the 1930's or early 1940's. It measures 10 1/2" wide by 13" tall. It is nicely decorated with what appears to be ribbons. The frame and mirror are in very good condition. Very pretty and feminine mirror that is made of a syroco or resin type material. It has pretty bows all along the top with rose swags down the sides. It has been hand painted a pretty primitive white and then lightly distressed and finally a coat of clear paste was was applied for preservation.There is a small scrape down one side of the mirror by the side rim. It use to be all gold, but I professionally hand painted it with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and applied some gold leaf for an incredible old world finish. This is an antique piece dating back to the early 1900's and has a wonderful high relief design of flowers and flowing leaves. ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS! This wonderful old mirror is very heavy. Weighing in over 6 pounds unpacked. It is oval, the frame standing nearly 19" high by 16" wide. The mirror is original to the piece. It measures 12" high by 10" wide. It has a few minor marks where the silvering has worn away(as shown) and a couple of faint cloudy spots, but still reflects a pretty clear image. Vintage 40's Italian Syroco Style Mirror Ribbin, Rope, Bow, Gold Taupe Mache
Up for auction is a lovely vintage Italian unsigned mirror recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. It is a nice large size. 16 x 21" The frame is a taupe or off white, but somehow looks a little pink in these photos, but is not. It is a pleasing light taupe or off white with gold rope and edging and bow. It is in good condition, the mirror however almost seems older with the condition issues of losses. It is loosely fitted in the back with a supporting strap of wood but the mirror is loose and moves in the frame. Regardless a very lovely mirror like we've not seen before from some kind of molded then painted pulp paper mache but very thick and sturdy. VINTAGE STATELY AMERICAN EAGLE SYROCO MIRROR CONVEX BUBBLE GLASS PORTHOLE STYLE
Up for your consideration we have a vintage Syroco wall hanging mirror with an american eagle on it. It has convex or bubble style glass in it that resembles a ship's porthole. It is about 28" tall and 18" wide. The mirror itself is about 13" diameter. It is in good condition with just a few surface scratches here and there. We have re cently purchase d a major estate of a serious collector of all things unique. Vintage and antique.
