These enterprises were successful and he continued in California until 1869, when he came to New-York and established himself in the Oriental goods business, opening a store on Broadway, near Eighth-street. VANTINES ART DECO EGYPTIAN MAIDEN FIGURAL BRONZE METAL INCENSE BURNER VINTAGE
Authentic Vantine's Egyptian maiden figural incense burner. Made in France in the 1920's during the Egyptian Revival period popularized by the discovery of King Tut's tomb in 1922. This beautiful Art Deco styled antique figurine is cast in a darkened silver finished metal with exquisite detail. The maiden is holding a large decorative bowl in front of her, which is used for burning the incense. The figurine stands 6.5" tall on a 2.25" diameter hexagonal base. The underside of the bowl is inscribed"No. 1272- Vantines- Made in France" The figurine is in very good condition with no noticeable cracks or chips. VINTAGE 1920s ART DECO VANTINES METAL EGYPTIAN NUDE FIGURE INCENSE BURNER NR
NO RESERVE… This auction is for an old Deco Era Vantines Incense Burner. The Figure measures approx. 9 inches tall. And about 3 1/4 inch square at the base. The paint looks original and in nice condition. There are some age paint and metal nicks, but nothing terrible. The original felt pad bottom is gone off the bottom of the base. I have 2 closed up photos with yellow paper arrows pointing at the very top tip of her head piece. There should be a pointed edge at the very center top. It was likely knocked or banged at this spot nicking the point off the crown. It was likely touched up. As it is hard to detect. The only reason I know it is like this is because I have had this same figure a few times over the years, so I know there should be a point. It is totally fine as it is and I think would have gone unnoticed if I had not pointed it out. ... moreIf there are any more photos of this spot needed. Please email me. RARE VINTAGE VANTINES LAMP POST INCENSE BURNER/SMOKER FRANCE Here is a rare vintage Vantines lamp post incense burner/smoker. It was made in France around the 1920'S. This incense burner/smoker is made of brass with a red detailed enamel lamp and a scrolled base. It measures approximately 6 5/8" tall and 2 1/8” wide. The markings are“VANTINES. DEPOSE, MADE IN FRANCE, 1053” This beautiful incense burner is a pre-owned item and shows some signs of use. It is missing the top cover. There is some enamel loss and minor rust inside but not pitted. G ood condition for its age. Please see our photos to view condition and to appreciate this lovely piece.
