This is very rare and beautiful details art deco nude design box. It was made by Heinnrich Hoffmann in Jablonec(Gablonz) Northern Bohemia in around 1930's. I t is made from heavy alexandrit hand cut. Matted and polished. Alexandrit glass was invented to imitate the moon stone. It changes color. During day light it is pink almost purple and under artificial light it is light blue. It is marked by the little butterfly. It looks so much better in real than on the pictures. It is very hard to take a picture of it because it breaks the light with all the cut edges.G reat piece for your collection or a nice gift.
