Ball shaped salt shaker, similar but smaller pepper shaker& a round tray with dark blue glass insert. I'm not really sure of its original purpose but our best guess is that it was meant to accompany corn on the cob with melted butter in the jug. Love to hear other people's thoughts on this. The tray measures about 6" 15 cm. in diameter. The salt 1 1/2" 3.5 cm. in diameter, the pepper 1" 2.5 cm. in diameter& the jug 6 1/4" 15.5 cm. wide(spout to handle. It has 1 primary point of articulation being the cylinder shade assembly mounts which can tilt from side to side reflecting light. CONDITION: Overall the lamp is in outstanding condition. There are very faint signs of use with no dings. Dents or scratches. The lamp parts are all high polished chrome or Black enamel(with the exception of the bakelite decorative base} which shows almost no surface wear and faint tarnish. The lamp retains an original spin switch fixed to the base assembly but it works sporatically so a vintage switch socket housing ... morehas been added which is electrically sound and functions safely. These are a really cool pair of original Art Deco sconces. They have a nice skyscraper design typical of the Art Deco era. The chrome on these sconces is in great condition. Nice and shiny with a few scratches.These sconces use incandescent lights not flourescent so they are older than many of the sconces you see. The last picture is from a 1930's catalogue of sconces showing a sconce similar to this one. Although this one has much more detail. They have the same Lumiline bulbs made by GE. I was told the bulbs were new from old stock and had not been used but I have not tried them. The wiring on the lights will need to be replaced. Up for auction is this dynamic and extraordinary solid steel/chrome sprinting Impala manufactured by the Chevrolet Auto Association during the Art Deco period which was a movement that challenged traditional Art and design of the times. There is NO RESERVE on this stunning and rare single(1) Art Deco geometric cocker spaniel dog on streamlined base bookend from San Francisco Estate. Made by Jennings Brothers Mfg. Co. Aka"JB" Circa 1930's. He has excellent detail and he is truly exquisite! This beautiful dog looks stunning on its modernistic deco base. He is made of some kind of metal with a chrome finish- a magnet will not stick to him. The overall measurement is 5-1/4" tall, 3" wide, 2-5/8" deep. This is a very rare hard to find Farber Bros/ Krome Kraft Chromium 3 piece console set in very good condition. It has Butterscotch Bakelite handles on the bowl with black etched stripe detailing that's really nice. Each vase stands 9 1/4" H. The bowl is 11 3/4" handle to handle measured straight across, the chrome gleams, but, would benefit from a treatment like simichrome polish to out the fine marks, nothing really bad, just consistent with age& usage, I haven't touched it at all. As you will notice the 3rd photo shows old decorative fruit, if you would like them just let me know, they have been with the set for many years, and, you can't find this quality anymore, they're fun in a kitchy kind of way. Offering today a very cool original Art Deco Chase tray and matching ashtray. Marked on back of tray"Chase Pat Applied for" with the logo. Tray measures 11-1/4" x 5" Ashtray is 2-1/2" across. There are some dents on bottom of ashtray which cannot be seen when in use. There are 2 paint wear spots to the red stripe and it has been used. Tray has a small dent on bottom which is not very noticeable. Some light scratches. Oxidation spots and signs of wear from the years. Red stripe on tray is very good. Stylish 1930's Art Deco Chrome Glass Tantalus / Decanter set with silver labels.
Excellent oppotunity to acquire a fine art deco chrome Tantalus. The rectilinear stylised stand enclosing three cut glass decanters with pyramid stoppers, beneath lockable swivel action bar, including key. I have seen similar examples of these retailing between £1000- £2000 Bright and attractive. French circa 1930. Three fine hallmarked silver labels. Condition is very good with minor wear commensurate with age. Some light surface scratches throughout and light marks to the base where the bottles are stood. All of which could be polished out, personally I have decided to leave them in as good conformation. Bottles are clean and bright with no marks or scratches- ready to fill. Where the roll bar swivels there is a rubbed mark to the post only visible when the bar is up. Art Deco Chrome Candle Holders 1930's Design? Anybody Know?
I just found these unusual Art Deco vintage objects. Really not sure what they are. I would love to know. The people I bought them from said their grandmother had them and they had round candles in them. I guess that's possible. They are chrome with black metal bases. One has felt in the bottom and the other is missing the felt. Thy are 4.5" high and 5.5" long. No identifying marks. Very well made. Buyer pays shipping. Thanks and good luck.

Vintage 1930's Art Deco Chrome Porcelain Glass Ashtray Smoking Station Stand
This gorgeous and desirable piece measures 29-1/2 inches tall and 13 inches wide. This comes with two inserted ashtrays. One inserted lidded cup that I assume was for matches and or cigarettes, and one vintage lighter. The lighter is not original to this piece and does not appear to work. Originally there was some kind of lamp that sat where the lighter now is. There is an opening where the lighter sits and there is a hole for an electrical cord in the base( 3rd photo) The ashtrays show some tarnish and rust and could use a cleaning. The base and top are a chrome metal. They show some surface wear and tarnish and could use a cleaning/polishing mainly the top. I cannot say what the black stem is made of and it shows some areas of paint loss. The ornate piece that wraps the stem is made of porcelain I believe and is in good condition. The white ... morepiece this sits on is some type of glass and also appears to be in good condition. I was told this is from the 1930's but could be a little older or maybe from the 1940's. This has some weight to it and with the large shipping box and packing this will have to ship at 18 pounds. Soem wear and scratches, nicks to chrome paint. Some rough spots to the porcelain from manufacturing process. Very desirable Deco styling and chrome accent. Some scratches and wear. I recommend rewiring. I do not test old fixtures as they should be rewired for safety. Pull switch still springs back. Vintage Deco shade is present as well and likely original to the fixture. Certainly a period shade. Rough top and bottom edges as manufactured. Nice Deco styling to the shade as well. Fixture measures 6 inches approx top point to bottom.

This is an extremely nice set of six(6) CHASE chrome cocktail cups. part of the GAIETY cocktail shaker set. Art Deco cups are 2" high and 2 7/8" across the top. All cups are marked CHASE with the centaur with a drawn bow trademark. One cup has an enclosed base(see the last few pictures) shape and size exactly as the others. There are no dents or dings. one cup has a small spot on the inside(minor- cups appear to have never been used) light scratching from stacking(does not detract from display) The Gaiety set was very popular in the 1930's to 1940's. Rare Telechron/GE#357"Apollo" or"Beau" electric shelf clock. Features a black plastic case(Beetle or Bakelite) with chrome plated ball feet, bezel and finial, designed by Harry C. Richardson, measures 7-1/4" H x 4-1/2" L x 3-1/8" W, circa 1930. CONDITION: The clock is missing it's back cover and electrical cord and therefore is being sold As Is. And I have no idea if the clock would run with a replacement cord. It's best to assume it would not. But in spite of all this, amazingly, there are NO cracks. Chips or repairs to the black plastic case. Only 6.588 of these clocks were sold with the majority ending up in landfills. So, Apollo is one of the rarer Telechron models. And when one is lucky enough to find one, they usually have some degree of damage to the black plastic case. So it's very rare ... moreto find a case like this with no damage. All of the chrome plating is in excellent condition except for the base under the finial which has chrome loss, visible in photo#5. The tiles are in good condition. There is, however, one minor chip on the serving tray. The tiles are hand painted. Scenery depicts daffodils on a skyline, a very typical setting for this period. The metal is most likely pewter that has been chromed. It has some wear in accordance with its age. Vtg 1930's-1940's Art Deco Vanity Dresser Set Silver Chrome Green w/ case box
Fabulous old vanity shiny silver/chrome metal and glass with green accents set in a fabric lined travel case. There are a total of 8 items in the case including a brush. Comb(missing two teeth) mirror and 5 various jars and bottles with lids. There are some stains in the fabric inside the case which you should be able so see in the photos. I have showed a close up of the back of the brush to show the green with gold accent decoration and also on the brush there is a small dark spot in the green near the edge. This is for a beautifully stylish old art deco desktop weather station. It is made from dark wood with lovely chrome instruments mounted on the front. It features a large barometer and 2 small hemispherical instruments a hygrometer and a thermometer either side It has a lovely flow-line shape with half round chromed pillars either end and classic stepped feet. The renowned Lufft barometer factory was founded in Fellbach in 1881. And up to the mid-sixties made a variety of measuring instruments and barometers for both private and commercial use. Everything appears to be working perfectly, i have had it a week and all the dials have moved slightly so i think its ready to go. Up for auction an original Art Deco Globe Ash Receiver designed by Walter Von Nessen for Chase. Catalog# was 17068. The ashtray was available between 1937 and 1942. Measure 3"d. The Globe design can open to receive ashes or close to make a sphere. Have been identified in the Chase Complete Deco Specialties of The Chase Brass& Copper Co. by Leslie Pina and Donald Brian Johnson. Please see condition section for a description of condition. 1930's Bowman Manning 24 Cup Chrome Electric Coffee Percolator - Art Deco
A 1930'2 Bowman Manning Chromalux 24 cup electric coffee percolator. Chrome ball shape with bakelite handle. Spout knob and base. It measures 11" to the top of the lid, not including the glass knob and 8.75" wide not including the handle. From a large private collection, it is in very good condition for it's age. Overall the chrome is in good condition; a few light scratches from use, there is one small dent on the lid. It is about.25" long and very shallow. More like a scratch. See picture. I cannot get the bakelite knob on the spigot to turn. I have removed the screw on the bottom of the spigot to clean it out but it seems to be gunked up with dried coffee residue. I did not want to force and break it so I will leave the cleaning up to the new owner, I'm sure you will know exactly how to do it properly. The percolator ... moreworks, I put water in it and it does get hot and perks. The light comes on, and it has the original cord and basket. The bakelite is in good condition with no chips, cracks or breaks. A really wonderful piece of Art Deco style in an everyday item.
