VTG Faux Reverse Painted Chrome Picture Frame. 5 1/2 X 4 From 1930's Metal Easel
This vintage chrome framed. Faux reverse painted picture frame was sold with a Studio Portrait of Robert Taylor, early Hollywood actor. The picture dates this frame to the early 1930's. The easel back is stamped PRULESCO froy.r.1 made in the USA, I believe. It is difficult to read so I have included a close up so perhaps you can read it. Chrome frame has a nice bevel and is in great shape especially considering the age. Overall frame measures 4" x 5 1/2" and 2 2/8" x 2 6/8" inside(picture window) The frame matting is grey to black with heavy foil lines around the picture. Very striking and unusual. Vintage 1930s ART DECO Reverse Painted Glass Easel Stand PICTURE FRAME, Vintage 1930s ART DECO Reverse Painted Glass Easel Stand PICTURE FRAME- A really nice vintage 1930s Art Deco period frame- a nice small size which is harder to find. The frame is reverse painted in black with a metallic(brass plated? acce nt on all four corners. The picture frame is self standing with an easel design on the back and overall it measures about 5" by 4" The picture opening is approx 4" by 3" Triangular clasps with bars hold the glass to the easel and there is one rotating metal clip on the back that secures the back to the picture. The black and white pictures was added and comes with the frame. Item Condition: The overall condition of the frame is very good to excellent vintage condition. It is very clean and there are no chips. Cracks, ... moreor broken areas. The glass looks really good with good clarity and no scratches or wear to the reverse painting that I see other than on the metallic edges. The easel stand functions but it needs a little help- I would recommend a piece of cardboard from the frame to and through the hole on the easel to help support it- a small dowel would work as well- or could be displayed on a small metal or wooden easel. The metal components have a nice standard aged patina on them. But no corrosion or rust. It is a really nice accent frame for your Art Deco collection. Gorgeous Original ART DECO Antique 1920s Picture Frame for 8x10 Reverse Painted
This is an original 1920s picture frame done in perfect streamlined Art Deco style. What a great example of the time period. It holds an 8x10 picture. It's reverse painted in black. Gold, and mirrored silver. It was hard to get a good photo of this frame because the light kept reflecting off of the silver. But it's in very nice condition for being about 90 years old. There are no cracks in the glass, the back is in nice shape and it will still stand by itself on a table top. Geometric Art Deco Picture Frame A lovely reverse painted geometric picture frame. Gilt painted frame that has become tarnished and worn. Originally, i believe this would have been silver coloured and painted at a latter date. Light signs of corrosion showing. Cardboard backed. Two tone in colour, gold and black. VINTAGE ART DECO REVERSE PAINTED PICTURE FRAME,FOX TIFFANY ON MATT
This listing is for a vintage art deco reverse painted glass frame. It's done in black with silver deco design. That is painted on the back side of the glass. The matt is a bit dingy and yellowed and it says"Fox Tiffany" on the bottom of the matt. The frame itself is also silver in color. It has a bit of oxidation on the surface but you can always re-paint the metal. It has two metal stays that hold the picture in on the back, could use another one I think. There isn't a hanger and the easel is gone, so you would need an easel. It measures 9 in. X 12 in. with a 3/8 in. face on the frame. You are welcome to the print that is in it as well. The box will weigh 2 lbs. from 92126 and I do combine items to save on shipping. Just let me know if your waiting on another item to end. Thanks for looking. Vintage 1930's Art Deco reverse painted glass picture frame. Overall it measures 10" x 12" with a picture opening of 6 3/4" x 8 3/4" It's in very good condition- there are some spots of minor paint loss around the edge.
