Nice Art deco table lamp from the early 20 th century Nice art deco table lamp from the beginning of the 20 th century. The lamp is made of metal but I am not exactly sure what type of metal(brass or copper but it isn’t gold) The inside of the lamp is lacquered white. The lamp is old. But in good condition. It could use a good polish but that is up to you. Measurements: the lamp meassures 23cm/9.1” from top to bottom has a 16.5 cm/6.5” diameter I ship worldwide. Rare and substantial(weighs almost 6 pounds(12 kg) electric clock. I believe this is a German design from the 1930's. Possibly a custom clock made by one of the great Bauhaus designers like Lazlo Moholo-Nagy. Marianne Brandt, Walter Gropius, Christian Dell, Joseph Albers, Wilhelm Wagenfeld, Marcel Breuer, or someone else. Measures about 25 cm wide by 22 cm high(about 10 inches wide by 9 inches high) Including the base. Fitted with a european plug. So I have no way to test it. Very substantial and elegant design in unknown materials(bottom area where the screw is in the last photo appears to be either bakelite or vitrolite, hands, time markers. Bauhaus Machine Age Bronze Candlesticks, 1920-30s Weimar / Hagenauer Era
For your consideration. A refined pair of machine age bronze candlesticks. The candlesticks are unmarked but likely originate from 1920s Germany or Austria based on design and materials(manufactured items prior to 1930 did not have to have state the country of origin due to tariff laws of the time) The simple, futuristic design practically screams Weimar Bauhaus. The candlesticks are in good vintage condition with a lovely aged patina. Picture 2 shows some surface scratching to one of the candlesticks Pictures 3 and 4 show dints and dings to the bronze. There is some wax residue where the candle fits which I have not cleaned in order to retain the patina. The bases can be unscrewed from the candlesticks. The candlesticks are QUITE heavy, weighing 11 pounds. The hole for the taper measures 3/4 inch in diameter. The candlesticks measures 11.75 ... moreinches in height and 2 7/8 inches in diameter. ART DECO Bauhaus-Style CHROME & GLASS TRAY Machine-Age
The tray is made of chrome plated brass and etched glass. It measures 16 ½” by 10 ¼” and weighs almost 5-pounds. It is in nice condition with some light wear. There is a bit of light scratching and a chip on the edge of the glass. See close-up. The tray is not marked or signed and I do not know the age.
