SUPERB VINTAGE ART DECO BRASS PICTURE PHOTO FRAME 1930 odeonesque photograph This is a beautiful VINTAGE ART DECO BRASS FRAME In my estimation it dates from around the early 20th Century. Circa 1920-1930, but please make up your own mind about this. The frame measures approx 9 1/2 inches(240mm) long by 6 1/4(160mm) tall and is made from solid brass. The internal measurements are 7 inches( 175mm) by 5 inches(125mm) It is in good original condition with very light wear consistent with its great age. But no damage or repairs. The brass has gone dull with age and would polish up to a bright finish if required. A choice I leave up to you. Please see the photos for condition and type. There is no reserve

Measuring 12 1/8” by 10 ¼” holds a reverse painted mat in beige, gold, black whose 2 lower corners have minimal loss. The top 2 corners have fancy paper accents in the corner as found. This wonderful 8” by 10” black& white photograph works great in its frame. We found this old pink index card with it, but the last line is a bit confusing. The lady may be finishing up the last bit of icing decoration on the middle cake. Her hair is lovely + she’s protected her good dress with its fancy pin with her homemade appliquéd apron. The 2 women in the background are looking fondly upon“Hazel Swisher” They may be preparing for a church supper or even a bake sale. Beautiful Vintage Photograph Frame. Excellent& unusual early 20th Century free standing frame, with a superb. Solid thick domed glass convex lens set in it's original brass circular frame. With two ball feet& original folding easel back. please see pics. Wonderful, highly decorative& unusual old vintage frame beautiful quality. Heavy domed glass lens within a circular brass frame with original backboard& steel easel stand. The textured dark green backboard is stamped polyfolo of England in gold. please see pics. The brass frame has 3 brass fixings to the reverse, these simply push back to remove the backboard to add your own picture or photograph for display. Great size& ready for display. Please see the regular Coke can in photograph# 1 for scale purposes. 4.5 inches wide(11.5cm wide) The glass is a whopping 2 inches ... morethick at it's deepest point. VINTAGE& USED CONDITION. A fine. Most unusual, entirely original Art Deco photograph album; extremely interesting in both form and content. The album itself is very heavy and contains 26 heavy-gauge cartridge-paper pages with protective subsidiary tissue. It's bound in a thick woven fabric and enjoys a brass cover in heavily contoured and detailed relief. The subject of which is the classic 1920/ 1930s'tall ship' design. It's almost certainly continental of origin(although I cannot be absolutely certain of that) But deduce as such given that the contents contain a series of both pre and post war images of a family of presumably eastern European origin. Vintage ART DECO Chrome Photograph Photo Picture FRAME
Vintage Art Deco frame. Beautiful Art Deco picture frame that is two-sided. There are two glass panes with beveled edges. That fit into a chrome base with sides. The glass measures 8' by 10' and will hold a photograph that size. Overall width of base is 10-1/2' by 2' deep. Overall height of frame with glass is 11' The chrome frame is in good vintage condition although it has signs of age with plating wear and spots. It is missing the felt on the bottom of the base. All corners of the glass have chips and one has a larger chip with a line coming from it and another chip about an inch down from that corner(see last photo) There is a logo inside the frame(it also appears on the base) with the initials VMDC inside a circle.
