If you have no intent of ... morepaying. Please do not execute the Buy It Now. Thanks! Up for sale is this vintage tile top plant or drink stand. Please excuse any glare in the photos. Set into the top of this stand is a California pottery tile. This tile has an unusual. Geometric, art deco theme. The tile measures approximately 8 3/16 inches by 8 3/16 inches, and it is grouted into a heavy wrought iron base. The table top is approximately 8 1/2 inches by 8 5/8 inches. The height of this stand is about 19 3/4 inches. Unpacked, it weighs just over 10 1/2 pounds. This would be a wonderful addition to a Spanish revival or mission style decor. Identification This unsigned table is circa late 1920s or early 1930s. I have not positively identified the tile. Though it is by a southern California maker, possibly D& M. Condition The stand looks very good overall. With minor wear. The tile has light surface wear, and no cracks. There is scattered, minor edge flaking, which does not detract overall. There is crazing to the glazed surface; as made, there is a very small, unglazed indent to the glazed surface. The iron looks very good, with minor evidence of use and age; there is some light rust/oxidation. When you turn the table on its side, you can hear a faint noise of loose debris in the iron pan; the tile appears to be firmly set despite this. These Art Deco floor ashtrays featured pinched tri footed base ascending to hand hammered pedestal. The handle is of a nude woman standing with one arm up holding on to the crescent moon terminating at her feet. This supports an ashtray- one with a flip lid for ashes and the flip lid is missing. Below the ashtray is a scalloped catch plate for any errant ash. These were probably repainted in the 1940s. Otherwise. These two ashtrays are in great condition with no apologies. I believe they may have been painted a green color very similar to Frankart. They stand approximately 24 1/2" tall x 9 1/2" diameter at the base x 6 3/4" diameter at the scalloped plate. Art deco wrought iron lamp base. C.1930, with gingko leaf decoration, measuring 24.5cm. high. This is a quality piece, and the gingko leaf is a motif that was often used by Edgar Brandt, but as there is no visible maker's mark it is not possible to give a definite attribution. You are viewing a very nice French wrought iron lamp with glass shade. Both shade and base are original Art Deco period items. And not reproductions. I would estimate that the lamp was made some time between 1910 and 1930. The base quite intricate having leaves attached. The shade is a lemon yellow color and was pressed in a mold. I don't know if the shade is original to the base, but they were definitely made around the same time. The lamp will need to be professionally re-wired. Traces of paint on the iron base. Minor wear and tear throughout on both shade and base. The lamp including the shade stands approximately 13 inches tall and the shade is approximately 6.5 inches wide. A fine Edgar Brandt original art-deco wrought iron and green marble console table. Dimensions: 34" h x 50.5" w x 16" d. Condition: Excellent. With the exception of one hairline crack across the corner of the marble top. The top is still in one piece, the crack does not go all the way through. I cannot show it in the photos since it is virtually invisible, although I have tried in photo#5. Shipping. This will be shipped by freight. It is your responsibility to organize and pay for this. Antique French Art Deco Silver on Wrought Iron Double Oval Frame c1925 Old NR
For sale is this wonderful silvered wrought iron double oval frame. I am offering it at no reserve with a low opening bid. From the style and patina. I would guess that it is French and made in the early Art Deco period, around 1920. It is one of the most intricate pieces of wrought iron I have come across, and it is a tour de force of the blacksmith's art. The decoration is of roses with leaves intertwining two oval frames. It measures approximately 8 inches wide by 5 1\2 inches high. It is in good condition with minor wear and tear throughout- I have not attempted to clean or polish it in any way. There is a small split in one of the leaves where the two frames join(please see photos below) The leaf is not loose or otherwise compromised.
