Hello and Welcome- This gorgeous lamp measures approx. 25" 2 feet and 1 inch! tall x 8" across the base x 6 across the base. The lamp is a shiney black. Not the matte finish- beautiful ceramic work. The lamp has a 3 way dimmer switch built in. This is a substantial piece, sure to draw attention, adding much to the beauty of your home. I pictured the smaller globes that can sometimes come with a lamp of this type( picture 6 and 11 above) to show that it just isn't as eye-catching with the smaller globe. This globe measures approx. 8" across, and the smaller one is about 5" across. The bigger one will come with the lamp. Art Deco Marble & Spelter Figural Lamp Nightlight Lady Dancer Burlesque Vintage
Here is a lovely little lamp. Approximately 11 inches tall. I have never sold anything like this so I'll do my best to describe it, and hopefully the pictures speak volumes as well. Please feel free to ask questions! The statue of the lady on top is what I believe would be called spelter. She is entirely metal of a dark color which was painted. Or cast, in a silvery finish. The silver is not bright silver, more of a pewter in color. I know this to be the case because there are a few small scratches to this finish(see picture of her shoulder) which show a darker color under the silver finish. The only part of the dancer not silver is her face, which seems to be most likely of celluloid, with painted eyes and lips. There is a tiny dark spot on her nose which I think is from the mold they used on her face. There is no damage to the piece ... morebesides the small scratches in the finish, the worst are on her shoulder, again, please refer to the picture. She's really lovely, I think she is modeled after Marlene Dietrich. The metal figure is bolted onto a piece of white marble. The marble piece is shaped like a drum. The side of the drum is carved and the carving painted with gold to look even more like a drum. The marble is hallowed out and the light is mounted inside. I would suggest rewiring as I believe what is here is original, and probably not to UL standards. However, it seems to work just fine. I put in a new 4 watt night light bulb(included) and the glow of the light through the marble is lovely. The light is mounted with wire, and one of the two mountings is broken(see picture) but still seems very solid. The lamp cord has an Bakelite on/off switch so you don't have to plug and unplug it all the time. There are a few surface scratches on the marble, they may be actual scratches or just how the marble is, I'm not sure. The lady has a long flowing dress and also a butterfly headpiece. Height 36.5cm. Most pieces were not signed. As is the case with this one. Some figurines were incorporated into clocks, lamps and lighters amongst other things. Lorenzl also made sculptures of dancing girls and naked young ladies with scarfs. Metal was becoming scarce at this time so many sculptures turned from bronze to making sculptures in spelter. Antique Bronze Art Deco Nouveau PAGAN DANCER LAMP Nude Nymph Lady. French? Very artistic draped dancing nymph and tulip theme lamp from the Art Nouveau/ Deco period. This might have originally been used for a staircase newel post lamp. I'm unsure who made this artful piece or exactly when. But I compare this to some other Frankarts, Nuarts and other lamps I've possessed. I am still researching this one although I feel that it is from France. The figure appears to be spelter and the rest metal with a bronze finish. I believe the leaves are tole tinplate, making this a very detailed piece. There is still some pink-ish tinting on the leaves. This is in fine working order, as pictured, the On/Off switch being on the Leviton socket, which is the slide type(where you push it one way into the"on" position and have to push it back ... moreto turn the lamp back"off" again. The cord is old but intact. A bracket that holds the shade looks newer and probably replaced sometime over the years. The base is a sturdy plinth but this is obviously a substitute for a marble base. There are no loose parts throughout this decorative lamp. Also, the shade is a frosted ruffled art glass and is a nice final touch to this item. Would make an awesome hallway night light. Naturally, there are the usual signs of vintage age, including paint loss in a few places, etc. but no breaks or cracks. Please see all photos for details to ensure satisfaction. This Draped Dancer needs a cleaning. But I will leave that to the new owner so as not to remove any desired patina. I will include the chandelier type light bulb. Stunning quality bronze naked lady sculpture in the style of Art Deco. The bronze depicts a dancer with two hoops as part of her elegant dance. This beautiful bronze has been heavily influenced by the Russian ballet and theatre. This appreciation of the feminine form and extravagant creations helped define the Art Deco period and these works. Both original& reproduction are even more in demand now than ever before. Standing 67cm high. The bronze is finished off superbly by being mounted on a most elegant solid marble base with a diameter of 20cm. Total weight is 10.7kg. Art Deco Dancer Lady Lucite Graceful
This lovely lady is made of a frosted texture plastic or Lucite. we have no idea. other than her graceful beauty and flawless condition. We know nothing about her. no marksanywhere. the base is 4 inches by 17 inches. her arm reaches to 15 inches. the grime on the baseseems to need something other than the window cleaner we used. it is a little difficult to remove.She has a head band tying her hair. arm bands. a butterfly at her waist.

Art Deco Bronze - Pavan Lady Dancer - Signed Colinet
This art deco bronze figurine is entitled' Pavan' It depicts a lady dancer and is finished on a solid polished shaped black marble base. The pavan is a slow processional dance common in Europe during the 16th century(Renaissance) Height 12" This model was originally sculpted and cast by CL JR COLINET however although this piece bears his signature this is a later re imagining and not an original Colinet bronze. If original this bronze would be worth in excess of £8.000, this is an economical way of owning a wonderful and interesting bronze for a fraction of the cost of an antique original.
