The white glass globe shades are also brand new replacement shades also bought in preparation for this auction. Combining the elements of a stylized nude woman, and geometric shapes(triangles) Added to that are the nice flowers and tendrils, all in great relief! This offering is for a statue as shown that is fairly heavy. We think it might be made of plaster of Paris or some kind of resin. We see no makers marks on it. The approximate measurements are: height– 17” Length– 14 1/2” includes base& body extension) width– 5 1/2” at base. The metal ball is brass& silver colored& shows scuff marks. The legs end before the ankle& there are no feet. The statue appears to be attached to the base with 2 bolts& nuts. It looks like either plaster, resin, or adhesive was also used between the statue& base. There is some black paint chipped off where the lower legs meet the base, but not a lot. Vintage Art Deco Nude Female Cup Stein Mug Iridescent Raku
Very unique vintage piece with gold gilded nude female handle accented with a gorgeous shimmering green iridescent raku like glaze. This piece of art can be used as a vase. Stein, cup or mug and it appears to be unsigned with no makers mark found. It stands 7.5" tall x 3.25" wide mouth opening x 2.5" wide base. Excellent condition overall with natural crazing except for a noted clean repair to the left upper arm on the nude handle that I did not notice until I was taking pictures, very small chip on the bottom base corner that does not show unless you turn the piece over. Please look at photos for close up details, the noted flaws do not take away from the beauty of this piece and I have not seen anything close to this one!
