Frankart style lamp - art deco woman with willow
Stunning table lamp of a woman sitting by the side of a glowing willow. It is a frankart style lamp from the Art Deco period. Made of cast aluminum, and(i think) molded and frosted glass. I've seen other lamps that are a bit like this. And the sculpting is more crude. This is a really lovely face. The glass is on perfect shape. Some of her patina is worn and has scratches. She sits pretty, but definitely needs to be rewired, and there is a tiny stress fracture where the thumbscrews- to hold the willow glass globe on its stand. Everything is as pictured. BRONZE NUDE WOMAN WITH FLOWERS ART DECO NOUVEAU FRENCH LAMP GATSBY FRANKART ERA
This beautiful bronze lamp base. Nude Woman with Flowers” is an exquisite sculpture, and represents a fine example of Art Nouveau“Femmes-Fleur” motif, a woman metamorphosing from the blossom of a plant. She has leaves and flowers extending from her raised arms, forming a shade above her and an elegantly sculpted face depicted by a master artist. Her figure is reminiscent of Frankart sculptures of that era. The foot of the lamp base depicts another traditional Art Nouveau motif. The entire sculpture is finished in a classic rich bronze patina. The sculpture is signed by Jules Jouant. A French sculptor, who was renowned for his portrait busts of music composers. He lived from 1882 to 1921, which dates this sculpture to that time period. Jules Jouants’ works have most recently been seen for sale at Sotheby’s. We have for sale these two vintage spelter metal based lamps. These set of twins stand 21 1/2 inches tall from their base to the top of their uniquely designed frosted glass trimmed shades. Each one has it's own stylish lady on one bended knee. While holding a bountiful pot overhead. A lovely example of classic Art Nouveau. They both have been rewired and as you can see, are in working order. One of them has evidence of the house dire it was in a few years back, but mostly all it did was make the metal more shiny in some spots and a little darker in others, which really just adds more character, so I'm reluctant to call it"smoke damage" but please look carefully from the pictures provided and judge for yourselves. Here is a stunning. Vintage Art Deco table lamp stemming from the 1920's-1930's era. This lovely lamp measures approximately 91/2 inches to the top of the lamp socket(not including the bulb) by 8 inches in length. As shown in the photos. The lamp has an on-off switch on one side with the wiring on the other end. It has been re-wired and has a wire of about 22 inches long. The lamp is made of bronze colored spelter and weighs approximately 2 pounds 3 ounces. It is in excellent working condition. The metal has no splits. Chips, cracks or repairs. Created in 1931 by the famous American Illustrator McClelland Barclay(1891-1942) This spectacular example of the McClelland Barclay's work depicts a nude woman with flowing long hair. In her out stretched arms. She holds a shell shaped light bulb fixture. A light bulb is concealed under the shell. The lady is rising on a naturalistic base. She is patinated with gold, green and deep brown/bronze color. As seen on photos, she is in excellent original condition. The oval space at her feet was for placing the phone in. The phone. Vtg Art Deco Egyptian Princess Lady Woman Ceramic Planter Lamp Royal Haeger
This is a wonderful vintage ceramic planter lamp that I bought at a garage sale in the early 1980's. It has a very deco stylized woman with some sort of head adornment and her eyes and necklace are open so that the light shines through. She looks like an Egyptian or Asian Princess. The sides and back are deco styled leaves and there are two planter wells in the back. This has no markings on it. But I have been told by collectors that this is Royal Haeger. The lamp is 8" wide and is 9-1/2" tall and about 5" deep. The cord looks to be in good shape. The upper part of the plastic socket is a little loose, but still is functional. There are a a few chips and bumps. The only one you would notice is right on the front corner. The rest are along the bottom edges. There is also a chip on the corner of one of the plater wells in ... moreback. There is a very fine hair line in the glaze at the back of the head. It is not a deep crack, but more of a scratch. There is a little crazing inside the wells. I had to clean years of dust out of the interior and some of the nooks and crannies inside will need a bit more work with a toothbrush or pipe cleaner. Please be sure to look closely at all the photos. This is a heavy lamp and will weigh a little over 5 pounds when shipped with sufficient padding.

This lamp is in good condition but does have minor flaws, consistent with age. The bronzed/ gold finish looks original and the glass shade, also, looks original. There is a bronze tone finish on the inside of the shade. The bronze tone finish, on the girl, has some areas of lose(see photos) It is in working but look to have been rewired. This is a very lovely, old, Art Deco Lamp that will look great in any collection. Please look at the pictures to ensure that I have described this item correctly. Rare Antique Art Deco Lamp Woman holding Splatter Glass Cubist Globe Tall Lovely
Up for auction is this truly exceptional Art Deco lamp. I list this as rare because of the large size and the fact that the woman is made of chalkware/plaster. This was a popular material in the 1930's. But rather fragile and objects tended not to survive. The woman has a little wear and some small nicks on the base, but is in overall very good condition. She could use some delicate cleaning around the face and toes. I just didn't want to risk breaking, so leave this to the winning bidder. The splatter/end of day glass globe is superlative! In a cubist form, it really casts a beautiful glow. Because of the outstanding quality of the glass, I would believe it was made in Czechoslovakia, but it is not marked so I am not sure. The globe has chips on the bottom of the neck. Some nice size ones, but they do not show at all when placed ... morein the cup. Measures a larger 26" h x 10" d x 6" w. This is a very cool vintage Art Deco table lamp. It appears to be chalkware and is painted to look like bronze and a silver metal. It measures 7" wide x 6 3/8" deep x 9 3/4" tall. Vintage Antique 1920s 1930s Art Deco Bronze Nude Woman Lamp Base or Sculpture
Here is a lovely piece the screams of a bygone era. The piece was definitely a lamp base but the electrical cord and post are so well incorporated into the design that it could easily stand on it's own a decoraitve bronze piece. LAMP FINIAL ART DECO WOMAN WITH HAT This is a very unusual item. The only one like this I ever found in my many years of collecting. The figure stands just over 4.5 inches from the top of her head to the bottom of the finial The finial itself is made of some kind of metal; I think the outer layer of the finial is brass The porcelain part of this piece was rubber stamped before the finial was attached. Even with a strong magnifying glass I cannot make out what it says. There appears to be a"U" at one end. Photos 7 and 8 show the small amount of the original stamp. I don't know what the dark spot is where her hand is touching the hat. I never used this as a finial. I had her displayed with a group of art deco ladies on a shelf. Condition: Used Great vintage art deco Frankart era figural sexy nude woman relaxing brain globe lamp. This is a great decorative piece! There were no markings that I could find. But looks similar to Frankart's style. It's a cast metal with a copper finish to it. There are a couple of areas with separation/breaks to the metal. One on the inside of the lamp by the light socket and one near the woman's thigh, you can see it in the 1st and 2nd pictures. The lamp is tested and working, you can't see the break when the shade is in place. There is one small area that had a chip but it was mended/repaired at some point. Vintage Art Deco or Nouveau. Figural woman mirror or lamp base. This piece appears to be cast iron with a bronze finish. Overall good shape with a little minor wear. The woman, or nymph, is screwed onto the base and needs to be tightened up. There are also little spots of metal corrosion, nothing terrible, and could probably be cleaned up. 1930's ANTIQUE ART DECO FIGURAL NUDE WOMAN LAMP & VTG INCENSE BURNER FRANKART ?
Here we have an original 1930's era ~ ART DECO FIGURAL NUDE LAMP AND INCENSE BURNER ~. This 80 or so year old lamp has a wonderful look and a great form. I do not see a signature but it certainly looks like it may be a Frankart or one of those similar manufacturers from the 1920's and 1930's era. The lamp stands 15 1/2 inches tall to the top of the light bulb. The lamp is made out of spelter and the green paint is original. I am not positive if it ever had a shade or not. As it appears that she is kneeling down beside a street light or lamp post. It looks nice with a decorative bulb, and you may want to use a different type of bulb. Amazingly it has the original cover for the incense chamber still with the lamp. The over all condition is pretty decent with some expected wear to the paint. The cord appears to be O.K. but you will ... morecertainly want to double check to see if it needs rewired. This Art Deco lamp has a wonderful look and would make a nice addition to any home with a Deco décor.
