In excellent condition is this Art Deco-inspired cigarette and match holder figurine. In the hsape of a classic bellboy or bellhop, made by Sarsaparilla Deco Designs, and dated 1984. Found at an estate sale, the figurine measures 9 inches tall, and has a cigarette holder in the back, a tray for matches on his shoulder, and a small recessed ashtray by his feet. Alternatively, this could be a dresser container or next to the front door, with a small plant in the back, and places for keys and loose change. There is a small area of color loss along the side of his head on the hat strap; otherwise, no chips, cracks or dings. Up for auction is this Classic Sarsaparilla Art Deco DC-3 Chrome and Cobalt Glass Lamp. lamp is 11 1/4" long with a 13 1/4" wingspan and about 7 1/2" H. Lamp works perfectly with all origianal parts. Chrome has some minor corrosion on tail and underside of wings. Glass is a dark rich cobalt which doesn't show well in pics. The fuselage has a flea bite on nose and some scuffing along edges. It features a pink nude female figure bathing and gazing slightly upwards. Her feet making ripples in the water. Pink is a good choice of colors for this artwork. It is like the pink Depression Glass made around the same time Hoffman created the original. It is in very nice condition with no chips. Dings, scratches or cracks.
