Rare and substantial(weighs almost 6 pounds(12 kg) electric clock. I believe this is a German design from the 1930's. Possibly a custom clock made by one of the great Bauhaus designers like Lazlo Moholo-Nagy. Marianne Brandt, Walter Gropius, Christian Dell, Joseph Albers, Wilhelm Wagenfeld, Marcel Breuer, or someone else. Measures about 25 cm wide by 22 cm high(about 10 inches wide by 9 inches high) Including the base. Fitted with a european plug. So I have no way to test it. Very substantial and elegant design in unknown materials(bottom area where the screw is in the last photo appears to be either bakelite or vitrolite, hands, time markers.
