Brass handle on the cover. Brown Bakelite base with no cracks of chips. Holds 40 cigarettes. 3 ½” in diameter and stands 4 ½” tall. Wonderful Chase Copper Art Deco Pitcher Vintage Walter Von Nessen 1930 era
Awesome art deco copper pitcher with what I believe is a bakelite handle Stands just under 8 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. fully marked=the copper really could stand a cleaning. there is a minor ding on the rim and the spout does not appear to be in the original vee type shape-but there is no real damage other than dirt. The handle is a little dirty but there are no chips or cracks in the handle.

THIS IS A"HARD TO FIND" CHASE DESIGN. IT WAS NAMED BY CHASE AS THE"CLIPPER" CENTERPIECE BOWL. FOUR DOLPHINS ORNAMENT THE POLISHED BRASS BASE AND A THREE-MASTED CLIPPER SHIP IS PRESSED INTO THE BOTTOM OF THE GLASS BOWL. THE BASE AND DOLPHINS HAVE AGE APPROPRIATE SURFACE WEAR FROM POLISHING. THEIR ARE NO DINGS OR CRACKS TO THE BASE. THE GLASS BOWL IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS OR CRACKS TO IT. IT IS PROPERLY MARKED.
