For your consideration is a vintage art deco lamp with green art glass globe and three lovebirds and/or parakeet birds sitting on some books. This is a very cute piece and would a wonderful accent lamp. The lamp shows wear typical of age and use. But as you can see was remarkable kept. It appears the socket has been changed over the years and I would switch with another and wiring should be checked. A Lovely Vintage French Art Deco Marble Table Desk Lamp Light Spelter Figure This is a really lovely vintage French art deco table or desk lamp. Typical of the French art deco period. It has a marble base with cast metal/spelter? figures of two small birds. It has a patterned pink floral glass globe shade. It has a net weight of just over 2 kg before packaging. It takes a bayonet type light bulb which is not included in the sale. The base measures approximately 25cm x 9cm x 2cm The overall height is approximately 14cm Condition The glass shade is in good condition. Free from cracks and having no wear to the gilding and frosting. It does have a few minor surface marks which are only noticeable on close inspection. The spelter birds are in good condition having no damage and are securely fixed to the marble base. The marble base at some point ... morehas been broken at one end(just below the shade area) and it has been repaired very well. The crack blends in fairly well with the veining in the marble and is almost smooth to the touch. The underside of the marble has been recovered with some foil. This item is wired with 2 core cable and has a'Zeppelin' on/off switch located midway on the flex and has a French two pin plug. As you can see it is in working order but I would advise you to have it checked before use. I take great care with my packaging using bubble wrap. Poly chips and strong boxes. It comes from France around 1930. The large pate de verre(glasspaste) shade is of very high quality and comes from the famous art glass company Schneider. It is signed in the mould: SCHNEIDER The lamp has been cleaned and has been rewired with a new three way(protective earth contact) twisted rayon covered cord. It has a vintage french B22 socket and a german Schuko plug. I will add a 3-prong adaptor for use in United Kingdom(or you can change the plug) There is a drilled hole in the right foot and the shade has a chip at the fitting ring but not visible when mounted. Cast in cold-painted spelter, depicting a stretching scantily-clad dancer, balancing her ballon or ball aloft, signed'M.Bal. for Molins Balleste, created circa 1930. This period sculpture. Is cast in cold-painted spelter, with a pearlescant-silver finish to her flesh tones and gilt-bronzed decoration to her hair and costume, all mounted on a bevelled octagonal marble plynth. Sculpted by MOLINS-BALLESTE, ENRIQUE(1893-1958) this original dancer shows all the style and elegance of the Art Deco period, combined with their love of the female form and elaborate performances. All of which embodies the aesthetics of the periods glamour and seductive-design, created in the chryselephantine manner. This scantily-clad dancer reclines seductively at the end of her performance holding the ... morecarved faux-ivory ball aloft, smiling enigmatically, proud of her routine. The dancer is screw-bolted to the original geometric polished and bevelled marble plynth by the original square nut fastenings. This stylish period sculpture is an impressive 200mm's tall. Pair Of French Art Deco Spelter Book-ends In The Form Of Horses On Marble Bases
This is a lovely pair of Art Deco spelter horses mounted on black marble(or similar) bases. Which I discovered recently at a flea-market in northern France. They display well as they are, but(in case you want a practical use for them) they were probably originally designed to be used as a pair of book-ends. There is a little gentle scratching to one of the bases and a very small chip to one corner of the same base. This hardly detracts, but I felt it worth mentioning, and otherwise, they are in very good pre-owned condition. Please note, that due to Royal Mail's pricing structure it will be cheaper to send the horses in 2 separate parcels(the price quoted is for both parcels)

RARE VINTAGE FRENCH ART DECO LAMP WITH DETAIL CAST SPELTER BIRDS SIGNED LIMOUSIN
Here we have a superb French art deco lamp with beautifully detailed cast spelter birds. The base is made from marble and is in a lovely light brown and white colour in good condition. Mounted to the base is the cast iron spelter figures of 2 birds with their wings stretched out hovering over an outcrop of rocks. The detailing on the birds and on the rocks is lovely. The glass globe is very attractive. The shade is in an opaque glass with a‘frazzled affect’ which is in great condition and I think is original to the piece. As you can see from the pics the lamp and inline switch is in working order and is ready to use. The lamp measures 32cms long x 10cms in width and stands 15cms tall. It is heavy weighing in at nearly 2.5kg and this is reflected in the carriage cost of £6.95. This piece is signed Limousin. RARE VINTAGE FRENCH ART DECO CLOCK WITH UNIQUE CAST SPELTER PEACOCK SIGNED TED
Here we have a superb vintage french art deco clock with a beautifully cast spelter peacock. The base is made up of two coloured layers of marble. The top layer is a lovely cream colour with bevelled edges while the bottom layer has a lovely vein style in different tones from a beige to dark brown. The base is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The clock housing has the cream marble border and is mounted to the base by a stylised brass fitting. The clock face itself. Protecting glass and bezel are in very good condition. The 8-day clock is in working order with the clock key and winder. The cast spelter peacock is very attractive and is a very detailed figure. The peacock's tail is a stunning Persian green colour and really adds to the vibrancy of the piece. The piece is signed TED. TED was a French Atelier who produced spelter ... moreanimal figures. RARE VINTAGE FRENCH ART DECO PICTURE FRAME/CALENDER WITH A DETAILED SPELTER DEER
Here we have a lovely French art deco picture frame with a beautifully detailed spelter baby deer. I believe this piece started off life as a calender and would hold the different date numbers within the two pieces of glass as shown in pics. Unfortunately I don’t have all of the numbers ranging from 1-31 but will send all of the date cards I do have with this piece. But I actually think this piece would look great with a picture of family or friends in this space instead. Would be ideal on a desk at work or on display at home. The base is of brown and white design in marble and mounted on this is the superb figure of a baby deer. Both the base and the spelter figure are in very good condition. The base is 20cms in length x 7cms in depth and is 15cms high to the top of his horns. This piece has the name Chamonix on the front of the base. Chamonix ... moreis a commune in the Haute-Savoie in south-eastern France. It was the site of the first Winter Olympics in 1924.
