Stylish Antique French Art Deco Bronze Dear and Marble Table Lamp, 1920s-30s
Here on offer is a stylish antique French art deco bronze dear and marble table lamp. Dating to the 1920s to 1930s. This gorgeous table lamp was purchased many years ago in a Parisian antique market. The marble base is a beautiful soft pink colour. The dear is beautifully modelled in bronze with a strong dynamic quality that is typical of the art deco period. Sadly the antlers are damaged and there is an area of damage on the deers side. Please see the photos. It stands securely on the base. The lamp and shade support are almost certainly the original. But the cable is a later replacement and is wired for use in France, the plug fitting is continental. I would strongly recommend that an electrician inspects the light before use. The shade is made opaque white frosted glass. This wonderful piece of sculptural lighting is being offered in good ... moreantique condition. This is a vintage art deco chrome table top clock which measures 2 1/2" tall x 3 7/8" long x 1 1/8" deep. It came from an estate sale. It is made by Lux of Waterbury. Ct. USA. The clock runs for a short time then stops. I think it needs to be lubricated. There is some soil on the chrome base which can be removed. A very stylish art deco style figurine. No idea of age the base appears to be Lucite the actual figurine is some sort of hard acrylic substance which has the look of glass but isn't. From a distance you could be fooled that it is a very expensive piece of art glass. Very stylish Art Deco(or possibly 1950's) cigarette box

Great early Set of 9 drawer pulls which measure 3-3/4" long. Not sure what the metal is. But there was a brass wash which is very worn. Mostly produce in Europe during the first part of the 20th century, this semi-synthetic plastic(Casein is the generic name) is made from skimmed milk curdled with rennet. Cured by long immersion in formaldehyde, it became a useful thermosetting material, which can be carved or embossed in beautiful patterns. It's color doesn't change over time. The colors you can find are mostly plain opaque colors. Sometimes with marbling or translucency. Galalith pieces are machined. Sanded or hand-finished and therefore there should be no marks left on them(in opposition to cheap mass produced plastics) so all pieces are seamless and this material belonging to the plastic family such as Bakelite, or Celluloid or Lucite is considered to be a top quality chunky plastic. Galalith is impossible to test like genuine American Bakelite because the chemical composition is: milk protein hardened with formaldehyde. A Stylish Antique Vintage Art Deco Chrome Nude Woman Cake Stand Base-c1920-30s.
This superbly stylish original Antique Art Deco Vintage Cake Stand Base dates to around the 1920s-1930s. It depicts a nude woman in a dancing position with one knee bent and her arms outstretched. There is a screw hole where her hands are where a glass dish is designed to fit-I do not have this but it should be relatively easy to find one. The Chrome Stand measures approximately 6.5 inches high. It has a weighted base and the Stand weighs around 365 grams. The Stand has some hand painted black detail. Which is worn in places. The Chrome would benefit from a polish. Any wear or pitting to the Chrome is minimal and the Chrome Stand is in untouched original condition. Exactly as I found it. An excellent addition to any Art Deco collection.

Excellent oppotunity to acquire a fine art deco chrome Tantalus. The rectilinear stylised stand enclosing three cut glass decanters with pyramid stoppers, beneath lockable swivel action bar, including key. I have seen similar examples of these retailing between £1000- £2000 Bright and attractive. French circa 1930. Three fine hallmarked silver labels. Condition is very good with minor wear commensurate with age. Some light surface scratches throughout and light marks to the base where the bottles are stood. All of which could be polished out, personally I have decided to leave them in as good conformation. Bottles are clean and bright with no marks or scratches- ready to fill. Vintage Art Deco Brass and Wooden Table Dinner Gong, Hammer, Stylish Item!!
On offer is this lovely vintage dinner gong. It's in really good condition overall. The wooden base which I believe is oak has a wonderful patina and graining over it. And the brass gong shines up beautifully still. The base has a rectangular shape and the brass section has simply been bolted on to the base. The brass has a lovely decorative shape to it- I just love the holding areas for the hammer. Such a lovely effect. The gong itself simply hangs from a piece of string/ small rope and looks great in its current position. It has been beautifully decorated with a textured effect. Original hammer is present and produces a lovely dinner gong sound when hit on the gong! No marks to indicate a maker but it would've been made in England. Circa 1930's. The base measures 28cm by 8cm(11 inches by 3 inches) and 27cm(10 and 1/2 inches) ... morein height. A lovely table dinner gong which is ready to be used and enjoyed once again! This stylish box measures 14 cm by 10.8 cm and 4.6 cm in height. It is a genuine old thing and has a very fine patina of surface scratched to the base. Otherwise the condition is really good. Antique Art Deco Electric Kettle Boxed PROMETHEUS Reisekoche Stylish MINT Cond.
A quite wonderful early electric kettle Travelling in it's original felt lined fitted case. The kettle has clearly never been used Paper covered case with shaped metal portable handle and fold over clasp. The kettle itself appears to be made of chromed aluminium but I am not 100% sure The lid of the box has printed the model name PROMETHEUS together with the German text Elektrische Reisekocher which translates as Electric Travel Cooker There is also a trademark which looks like dp joined within a diamond shape which is repeated on the base of the kettle- I have no idea who this refers to As was practise during the early 1900s. The kettle has 3 optional points with different voltages preferred; 110V, 150V and 220V and maximum wattage of 500W on the base I have not been able to date the kettle precisely but the styling and wicker covered ... morefolding handle and loop on the lid suggests manufacture in the early 1930s. Art Deco period or possibly earlier Untested. The kettle holds 2 pints of liquid and the element must be fitted in a coil around the lower part of the body as shown A fabulous collectors piece. Stylish c1920s Art Deco Lamp of Nude Lady
A nice circa 1920-30s Lamp. The lamp is made of a non-magnetic metal and is in the figural form of a Nude Lady. She is in the manner of the Karl Haguenauer Studio of Vienna. The lamp has an old gold painted finish and the original felt bottom. The Nude is not signed but I did not remove the felt to see if there are marks underneath. Overall dimensions are 13 3/8" high to the top of the socket x 4 1/4" in diameter at the base. The Nude Lady Lamp is in very good overall condition with no chips or cracks in the metal.
