Superb Art Deco silvered figural Banksway lady lamp c1935 Art Deco Banksway figural table lamp. Modelled as a scantily clad dancing girl holding aloft the light fitting and standing on as stepped base. She stands 15.25" high to the top of the fitting and the base is 4" square. There is some wear to the silvering on the plinth and her legs but overall I would say she's in pretty good shape for her age and ready to light up someone's life! These Figural Art Deco Bookends stand 8 inches tall. The base measures are 4 in. by 4 inches. They are from the Deco period of the 1930's. And were made by APT- NY and are marked on the back of each piece. The Art Deco lady design is very similar to pieces made by the Frankart Co. The 2 companies were contemporaries of each other.

BEAUTIFUL QUALITY ORIGINAL 1920s ART DECO LADY FIGURAL STATUE ON MARBLE ANTIQUE
Fabulous Original French 1920's Art Deco Figurine This is a beautiful 1920's Art Deco statue of a lady mounted on a marble base. The piece is made from spelter and is a solid casting. The figurine is mounted on a marble base and has a lovely composition. The casting is very high quality with nice detail on the face and hair. The figure has patination on the metal work and looks as though it may have originally been bronzed. She is in great condition with no damage. The marble base has a few minor chips to the edges here and there but generally these are hidden due to the natural grain in the stone. The lady has a scarf or cape trailing- we thing this could be an addition to the original piece- thought the alteration looks as though it was done in the same period. The edge of the scarf doesn't quite marry up with the back of the ... moredress and there are two screws in place. We believe that this item would have once have had something else mounted on the base at this point- possibly a photo frame or even a light fitting with shade. The cape doesn't look out of place at all and looks rather nice but it could be removed and replaced with a bulb holder and shade gallery which would create a superb original lady lamp which is rather sought after. This is a really nice looking statue that is of extremely good quality. It has a considerable weight to it and is a must have for anyone looking for an elegant piece from the deco era. Art Deco Marble & Spelter Figural Lamp Nightlight Lady Dancer Burlesque Vintage
Here is a lovely little lamp. Approximately 11 inches tall. I have never sold anything like this so I'll do my best to describe it, and hopefully the pictures speak volumes as well. Please feel free to ask questions! The statue of the lady on top is what I believe would be called spelter. She is entirely metal of a dark color which was painted. Or cast, in a silvery finish. The silver is not bright silver, more of a pewter in color. I know this to be the case because there are a few small scratches to this finish(see picture of her shoulder) which show a darker color under the silver finish. The only part of the dancer not silver is her face, which seems to be most likely of celluloid, with painted eyes and lips. There is a tiny dark spot on her nose which I think is from the mold they used on her face. There is no damage to the piece ... morebesides the small scratches in the finish, the worst are on her shoulder, again, please refer to the picture. She's really lovely, I think she is modeled after Marlene Dietrich. The metal figure is bolted onto a piece of white marble. The marble piece is shaped like a drum. The side of the drum is carved and the carving painted with gold to look even more like a drum. The marble is hallowed out and the light is mounted inside. I would suggest rewiring as I believe what is here is original, and probably not to UL standards. However, it seems to work just fine. I put in a new 4 watt night light bulb(included) and the glow of the light through the marble is lovely. The light is mounted with wire, and one of the two mountings is broken(see picture) but still seems very solid. The lamp cord has an Bakelite on/off switch so you don't have to plug and unplug it all the time. There are a few surface scratches on the marble, they may be actual scratches or just how the marble is, I'm not sure. A really good Signed Spelter Figural Lamp cica 1930 on a solid marble base. Probably depicting an Egyptian girl the lamp stands a total of 18 inches( 46 cm) to the top of the shade. From a heavy marble base. The figure is in a good condition with no repairs or damage. I cannot make out the signature but you can judge from the photo. Rewired with a modern period silk covered three core cable the lamp is in good working order. A really nice Art Deco Lamp with a difference.

An art deco Egyptian revival spelter candlestick in the form of a lady, Condition. There are cracks to both ankles as shown and missing big toe to right foot. The figure is stable, The"gold" paint is messy in some areas, I think it may have been overpainted at sometime. The black paint has some scuffs but looks to be original although I have seen these candlesticks with more colour to the clothing. Apart from the faults it does display well. There is a bronze tone finish on the inside of the shade. The bronze tone finish, on the girl, has some areas of lose(see photos) It is in working but look to have been rewired. The lid is topped with a figural lady who appears inside a ring of leaves(perhaps) Overall height is 9 1/2" I do not know the maker of the piece. It is marked#940 on the bottom. This NUART art deco* art nouveau FRANKART ERA figural ash tray* smoking tray* pipe rest* is of a lovely nude woman. Backside. Near base is marked, I believe I'm reading it correctly] NUART N.Y.C. U.S.A. This Native American Indian* Alien- like woman does have a couple of arm issues. But nothing that detracts from her beauty or rarity. Her right wrist has a hole in metal, and left wrist is split through. Not bad for 90+ years old. This 1920s* 1930s era Nuart brass? bronze tobacciana piece was found with a nearly 6" long copper? sword shaped letter opener? or tobacco tool so it's being sold with this nude woman as well. This sculpture is 8-1/4" at her tallest and the tiered base is 8-7/8" across ... moreand nearly 5-1/2" deep. Base is covered with what appears to be the original deep grayish blue cotton blend pad with moth bites and evidence of age. No glass dish or bowl was found with this smokers temptress.
