LOVELY VINTAGE ART DECO GLASS TABLE LAMP amber lady
LOVELY VINTAGE ART DECO GLASS TABLE LAMP amber lady A gorgeous moulded glass lamp base in the shape of a seated woman. It is an opaque amber colour with a matching shade with hobnail moulding. The lamp has been rewired and works. Although there is no switch on the wire. The shade has a starburst crack which is stable and doesnt show when lit. There are a couple of small dings to the base- hair above the left eye, toe and a few small flakes on the base. All are commesurate with age and use. 14 inches/ 36cms high complete. Lovely- Original- Art Deco Lady Figure Lamp A lovely original Art Deco figure lamp from the 1930's. Of a kneeling lady, scantily clad in a short tunic skirt, her arms outstretched supporting the lamp holder. Please note; it has the original marbled glass globe shade, which adds a great deal, as it it is becoming increasingly difficult to find these lamps complete! The figure is in cold painted spelter mounted on an alabaster base. It measures 15 1/2in(39.5cm) in overall height with the shade in place, the base measures 6 1/4in(16cm) in length. Condition; The figure is in lovely condition with no damage or repairs. The shade is also in excellent condition… For accuracy, there is some tarnishing to the under-side of the lamp-holder, there are minor areas of discolouration/staining, and rubbed areas to the paintwork, more evident on the ... morebase area and lamp holder, commensurate with age! there are a few tiny nibbles to the edges of the alabaster base, but otherwise it is in lovely condition! NB. As with all'vintage' electrical equipment. I am selling it as a"Decorative Item" with no guarantee. Art deco chromed lady table lamp +flame glass lampshade - WO
Please note most of my items are in used condition) so they will have some wear and tear- Item description- On offer today I have the most charming table lamp which has a chromed finish and is topped with a typical deco type flame shade which sit's into a bakelite gallery held in place by 3 screws. Being operated by a switched lampholder and is in working order. Item condition- This item is in good condition with some wear and tear in keeping with it's age and being used. The chrome is in overall good condition considering it's age, i see no chips/cracks to the shade apart from some flea bites around the rim which of course are not seen once mounted into the gallery, whilst working I do notice it is wired in some sort of old wire so it may be a good idea to get it checked by a qulaified person- Standing approx 16.5" tall ... moreand with the shade opening being approx 3" across at the opening. Here we have a very collectable and sought after Art Deco signed Max Le Verrier heavy spelter Lamp for restoration. Weight- 2.2 Kg Height- Approximately 19 cm Condition The figure is in good condition apart from the two thumbs on her hands are broken off and she has slight scuffing to one knee( see photo of hands) The original paintwork is very good with no marking apart from her scuffed knee. Rare Czech Antique 1920s Art Deco Double Lady Semi-Nude 5 Lights Lamp No Reserve
Up for auction is a 1920's Double Lady Czech Lamp. I assume the glass piece on top is a vase of some sort? There is some minor damage. There are 5 leaves on each of the four outside lights. One of the leaves was broken and another has a crack in it. All 5 lights work but you would probably want to have it rewired. I left the original cloth cord on it. One of the glass pieces is loose. But it does however set in place correctly. At some point this lamp had hand blown bulbs and tear drop glass beads. I've used this lamp on a daily basis as it sits. It's made of some kind of metal. The lamp has a 3 way dimmer switch built in. This is a substantial piece, sure to draw attention, adding much to the beauty of your home. An art deco metal wall light in the form of a naked lady. It measures 16 inches long and has a Bakelite bulb holder on the back but no wiring so it will need to be rewired and fitted by a qualified electrician. It is marked on the back REG. Art Deco Style Lamp / Lady with Fountain
This is an art deco style lamp. The lamp is an off white colored sculpture of a lady holding a bag that the fiber optic light sprays out. The light is a thumbwheel switch and the fiber optic part does not light up. I do not know how easy or hard that would be to fix. The lady does light up as shown in pictures. An iconic Art Deco style Lamp by the A. C. Rehberger Company. We are pleased to present this antique A. C. Rehberger Company Table Lamp for your consideration. Featuring an iconic Nude Lady figurine. The piece has a 1928 copyright. Rehberger. Founded in 1912 by Alfred C. Rehberger. Is a well known Chicago manufacturer that is best known for their detailed metal building replicas(of which a large collection is featured at the Art Institute of Chicago) They also manufactured the first Oscar statuette in the 1920's. The Desk Lamp measures 15-3/4 inches in height and has a 4-7/8 inch diameter base. It weighs 5 pounds 6 ounces and has lead incorporated into the base to prevent it from easily tipping over. It is marked(c) 1928 A.C. REHBERGER and CHICAGO. On the backside underneath the heels of the figurine(see close up pictures) The Lamp has ... morea two conductor line cord and uses 110/120 Volt AC service. There is a switch integrated into the bulb socket. It is designed to use a shade that clips on to a standard incandescent bulb. No shade is included, but we do have suitable shades that can be purchased separately. The Lamp is currently working. We put a bulb in and plugged it in. The switch worked fine. We do note that the line cord shows some wear. Of greatest concern. The cord is routed through the metal base without protection(such as a grommet) raising the concern that the metal could cut through the cord. We recommend the addition of some protection for the cord at this point, as well as a careful inspection of the existing cord for any unsafe spots. The figurine itself has a few spots where the black exterior has worn through revealing the underlying bronze. But overall, we rate the Lamp as being in very good condition. RARE WONDERFUL ART DECO LADY TABLE LAMP
This is a RARE Art Deco lamp from the 1920's. It is approx. 15" from bottom to top. This is the way she came to us years ago and is some type of metal. Don't know, except the"fan" in back of her head, which seems to be some type of plastic. Nothing has ever been done to her, except try to match a few flea bites in the gold color. She is in wonderful condition. She takes one bulb that fits in back of the fan and the bottom of the bulb is regulars size, easy to find. We do not want to part with her(even the cord is in excellent condition) but, do to circumstances, that is the way it is. Back in the day, she was considered special and my family paid 400.00 for her, now probably worth double, but, I just want what my family paid, it is sentimental and worth a lot to a collector. Art Deco Marble & Spelter Figural Lamp Nightlight Lady Dancer Burlesque Vintage
Here is a lovely little lamp. Approximately 11 inches tall. I have never sold anything like this so I'll do my best to describe it, and hopefully the pictures speak volumes as well. Please feel free to ask questions! The statue of the lady on top is what I believe would be called spelter. She is entirely metal of a dark color which was painted. Or cast, in a silvery finish. The silver is not bright silver, more of a pewter in color. I know this to be the case because there are a few small scratches to this finish(see picture of her shoulder) which show a darker color under the silver finish. The only part of the dancer not silver is her face, which seems to be most likely of celluloid, with painted eyes and lips. There is a tiny dark spot on her nose which I think is from the mold they used on her face. There is no damage to the piece ... morebesides the small scratches in the finish, the worst are on her shoulder, again, please refer to the picture. She's really lovely, I think she is modeled after Marlene Dietrich. The metal figure is bolted onto a piece of white marble. The marble piece is shaped like a drum. The side of the drum is carved and the carving painted with gold to look even more like a drum. The marble is hallowed out and the light is mounted inside. I would suggest rewiring as I believe what is here is original, and probably not to UL standards. However, it seems to work just fine. I put in a new 4 watt night light bulb(included) and the glow of the light through the marble is lovely. The light is mounted with wire, and one of the two mountings is broken(see picture) but still seems very solid. The lamp cord has an Bakelite on/off switch so you don't have to plug and unplug it all the time. There are a few surface scratches on the marble, they may be actual scratches or just how the marble is, I'm not sure. STUNNING ORIGINAL ART DECO BRONZE LADY LAMP - MOST UNUSUAL DESIGN - VERY RARE
this is a really amazing genuine art deco lamp. The naked figure is made from bronze so its pretty heavy, it stands on top of a thick glass bowl which is filled with glass marble type balls and a multicoloured painted glass vase has been placed in the centre where the bulb slots into, never seen another like it before, ive not put a plug on the wires, all ive done is used a torch to try and show what effect it might have lit up, im sure it would look amazing, just imagine it with one of the flickering flame type bulbs or a coloured bulb, the glass bowl does have chips around the top, buyt these are covered by the metal surround,it might have been altered over the years as the centre coloured glass looks more recent, under the base of the figure it has remains of glass covering the slots and some old glass mixed in with the glass balls. the ... morebowl and balls are extremely heavy so i would prefer collection on this. im sure you wont find another like it. probably one of the best deco lamps ive seen. the figure itsel measures 20.5cm high or 25cm high measuring the rest of the lamp fitting which slots over the bowl. the wiring does look like it may have been re-wired as the cable looks in good condition and it also has an earth. but i would recommend having it checked out before using. viewing highly recommended otherwise please enlarge all 12 photos. A really good Signed Spelter Figural Lamp cica 1930 on a solid marble base. Probably depicting an Egyptian girl the lamp stands a total of 18 inches( 46 cm) to the top of the shade. From a heavy marble base. The figure is in a good condition with no repairs or damage. I cannot make out the signature but you can judge from the photo. The on/off switch is a button on the base that"turns" to turn it on. The plug is not polarized. It's in great working condition, no chips or cracks anywhere. Vtg Art Deco Egyptian Princess Lady Woman Ceramic Planter Lamp Royal Haeger
This is a wonderful vintage ceramic planter lamp that I bought at a garage sale in the early 1980's. It has a very deco stylized woman with some sort of head adornment and her eyes and necklace are open so that the light shines through. She looks like an Egyptian or Asian Princess. The sides and back are deco styled leaves and there are two planter wells in the back. This has no markings on it. But I have been told by collectors that this is Royal Haeger. The lamp is 8" wide and is 9-1/2" tall and about 5" deep. The cord looks to be in good shape. The upper part of the plastic socket is a little loose, but still is functional. There are a a few chips and bumps. The only one you would notice is right on the front corner. The rest are along the bottom edges. There is also a chip on the corner of one of the plater wells in ... moreback. There is a very fine hair line in the glaze at the back of the head. It is not a deep crack, but more of a scratch. There is a little crazing inside the wells. I had to clean years of dust out of the interior and some of the nooks and crannies inside will need a bit more work with a toothbrush or pipe cleaner. Please be sure to look closely at all the photos. This is a heavy lamp and will weigh a little over 5 pounds when shipped with sufficient padding.

Fantastic vintage black woman lamp base. I think it's ceramic. Stands 37cms tall It has the original bulb fitting and pull string- but these are not attached and do not work. I can't find a makers name- so if anyone can shed any light I would be most grateful. Stunning. It needs rewiring. In good condition for a vintage piece. Some wear to the knees. Stunning Art Deco 1930's Nude "Lady at Pond" Lamp - Frankart Era
Here is a stunning and vintage Art Deco nude"lady at pond" lamp from San Francisco Estate. Circa 1930's. She is exquisite! This wonderful deco lady has a 1930's hairdo. She is sitting on a rock along side a pond. The base has a geometric design, and the light bulb is under the glass in the pond so it glows ups on the lady. This lamp is made of a chalkware material, and the top of the pond is made of blue slag glass. The colors are brilliant- dark green and gold. The overall measurement is 10" tall, 7" wide, and 6" deep. It is marked with the numbers"747" on the back(see picture) There are no signatures or manufacture marks that we could find, but she is quality. The condition is amazingly very good- shows wear and a possible stress crack on the lady's neck. it doesn't look like it goes all ... morethe way around the neck, and it doesn't look like a repair either. but we don't know for sure. There are no major chips, breaks, or missing parts, or repairs that we know of. There is felt on the bottom to protect your furniture, and the lamp has been rewired for safety. It looks and works great. The estimated value was $395.00, according to the estate. Our reserve is only $125.00. This fabulous deco lady lamp came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage.
