1930's BOHEMIAN LIGHT SHADE - ART DECO PERIOD - COLOURED GLASS STONES + FILIGREE
HELLO AND WELCOME TO OLD.VINTAGE.RETRO. This is probably the finest item I have sold in a long time- a fantastic Art Deco light shade. I have just been informed that this wonderful shade is bohemian and dates to the 1920's/1930's and is a very rare piece. It is made from finely worked filigree metal and decorated with lots of different coloured glass stones. It is in wonderful condition- all the stones look to be still present. There are 3 small loops fitted inside the crown like end. Possibly where it would have been hung from chains? It stands approx 18.5cm high and has a diameter of approx 19cm. The photos do not do this amazing piece justice- viewing is the best option. Quite a heavy piece. Overseas shipping would be expensive- pick up is most welcome. ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK. Art Deco Lamp & Pyramid Satin Glass Shade Silver Plate Base Mint 1930’s Works
A vintage art deco lamp with the original amber satin glass shade. Has been recently rewired and in good working condition. Dates to the 1930’s. The silverplate base has not been polished. Leaving the natural patina present. Measures a full 10 1/4 inches tall. The original glass shade measures 1 full 5 1/2 inches tall with a 3 1/4 inch fitter collar. The base measures 5 1/4 inches tall and 3 7/8 inch base. Condition with both pieces is excellent as there are NO chips. Cracks, scratches, internal staining, crazing or repairs present. NO plating loss to the base. Socket, line switch, plug and cord are in good working condition. We accept PayPal. Visa and Master Card payments for shipping purchases. An early 1900's Gilt metal Table Lamp in the form of a kneeling naked lady. It also has a tinted Globe shade. There is some light wear/rubbing& age marks to the surface. It could also do with a bit of cleaning. No obvious damage. The shade has a fine crack about 7" long on the top area(does not go near the edges) which is difficult to see unless you look really hard. VINTAGE ART DECO WALL LIGHT FIXTURE WITH SHADE C. 1930'S CHROME ACCENT PORCELAIN CERAMIC FIXTURE Overall. Very good condition. I cleaned it a bit but it could use a more detailed cleaning. Soem wear and scratches, nicks to chrome paint. Some rough spots to the porcelain from manufacturing process. Very desirable Deco styling and chrome accent. Some scratches and wear. I recommend rewiring. I do not test old fixtures as they should be rewired for safety. Pull switch still springs back. Vintage Deco shade is present as well and likely original to the fixture. Certainly a period shade. Rough top and bottom edges as manufactured. Nice Deco styling to the shade as well. Fixture measures 6 inches approx top point to bottom.

Here is a stunning and vintage Art Deco Gerdago pixie lady lamp with alabaster dome shade and streamlined metal columns from San Francisco Estate. Circa 1930's. She is exquisite! This wonderful deco lady is dressed in a red dancing outfit. She has a celluloid face, and she is dancing in a gazebo with three metal columns, alabaster base, and alabaster dome shaped shade. The deco lady is made of some kind of metal with a bright red painted finish- a magnet will not stick to her. The overall measurement of the lamp is 14-1/2" tall and 7" wide. There are no signatures or manufacture marks that we could find, but it is quality. The condition is amazingly very good- shows wear but no chips, breaks, or repairs. There's felt on the bottom, and the wiring looks good. The on/off switch in on the cord, and everything works great. The ... moreestimated value was $1,200.00 according to the"Art Deco Lighting Price Guide" by Schiffer Book Co. dated 2001(13 yrs ago) on Page#13. Our reserve is only $295.00. This fabulous deco lady lamp came from an estate in San Francisco, and is vintage. She has a great deco look- very modernistic and unique. Pictures don't do her justice.
