This is an antique Victorian organ stool with cast iron claw feet. The seat measures aprox. 12 1/2" square and is adjustable in height from 19" to 23" It has been recently restored and upholstered. It does wiggle some which seems to be common with these stools. It is marked on the bottom with the makers name. We also have some other Victorian stools presently listed. It is available for pickup or can be delivered by Fed Ex ground for 16.80 including insurance. We will do our best to combine lots to save on shipping costs.

These pieces came from a piano stool made by H. Holtzman& Sons. Columbus, Ohio. This company moved to Ohio in 1893. The four cast iron ball& claw feet are 4" long. Each has a screw hole in the back with normal wear to the bubble glass balls. They still have the gold colored finish but need to be cleaned up. Not exactly sure what type of wood it is made from. It appears to have originally had a mahogany finish, it is possibly maple or mahogany. There is a split in the top where the seat material was originally fused together as made(not unusual) But it is very solid and still very attractive. The legs and lower supports are spindled with nice wood turnings. The glass balls are held in mildly ornate cast iron claw holders. Overall an excellently built and very nicely finished piece. Nicks, and some of the finish knocked off from normal use. There is a 2 inch piece of bead molding missing on the seat rim. The glass balls have flat spots worn on the bottom. The glue joints on the top of the seat are visible. The screw thread has wear, so the stool seat is a little wobbly. Very usable. The base is very solid. Original cast iron legs and what looks like a carved burl wood base adjustable stool with a powdery sea-green blue velvet seat& long strands of twisted satiny fringe. It extends to roughly 24" high but has some"give" gets a little"wobbly" when fully extended. it adjusts down to a height of about 19" The top has a bit of"give" but seems fine for use; otherwise. It has no damage. some very light spots on the seat but not overwhelming. The feet are about 14-1/2" apart and the seat top is about 13-1/2" in diameter.

Vintage wrought iron piano foyer or vanity bench art deco red velvet NICE!
This is an exceptional vintage wrought iron bench. The iron was sprayed with furniture polish to show the details in the pictures but its not as shiny when it dries. The bench has a unique curve. The velvet is in good condition for the age and is clean. Nice large nail heads accent the red velvet. It measures 42inches long. Bench seat is12 inches wide and it is about 18 inches from the ground to the top of bench. The bench is sturdy and will definitely make a statement in any decor.

Vintage PIANO STOOL, Twisted Iron Legs & Swivel Circular Seat, by W.D. ALLISON
I believe this is an old swivel seat PIANO STOOL and by the looks of the material I would say it dates from the late 1800's to the early 1900's. This stool is in pretty good shape. But it is a little warped and the legs do not all sit flat on the ground. The seat is also a little off center due to the legs not being evenly spread. The twisted iron legs are easy to bend and shape so if you want to work on leveling the legs and seat I am sure you can do so. The swivel seat spins up and down, the lowest level being approximately 15 inches high and the highest level being approximately 24 inches high. The center seat screw misses the very bottom guide hole by about 1/2 inch, but you can press this center screw inward and screw it into the bottom guide hole, see the pictures I have provided. The wooden seat may be original, not sure. This ... morewooden seat shows some lacquer and wood flaking on the top side and I can see some wood separation around the edges. There is a metal number plate nailed to the side of this seat. This is a Beautiful Victorian Era& Style Organ/ Piano Stool. Approx. Height 19" Adjustable to approx. 24" Size of the seat is approx. 14" x 14" Black Cast Iron Claw Type Feet Solid Wood Pedestal and seat with a velour type faded pink upholstered top. Trimmed in matching color. Truly a unique piece that I hate to part with but no longer have the room and don't want to put something this beautiful into storage. Truly a conversation piece and/or a great addition to your furnishings.

Vintage 1920s Turn Screw Piano Stool W/ Iron Claw Glass Ball Feet Chas Parker Co
Very nice piano stool from Chas Parker Co. Needs to be stripped down and repainted. But there are no broken parts to it. There are a couple of nicks to the top of the seat, but most of it could be sanded out by the right hand. The claw and ball feet are all in tact and feature no breaks. The seat turns very nicely, but it does make a loud screeching noise when it turns. Nothing a bit of WD40 couldn't fix, I would imagine. 19" tall with seat fully down 13" wide from foot to foot 14" wide seat Claws are 3 1/4" tall

It is an estate find with tarnished brass tacks(missing a few) fastening the braided cloth edging around the gold colored seat material. It has a 13 inch shaped seat with 9 inch long embossed cast iron legs. It is 14 inches wide at the feet and has a 3-1/2 inch diameter turned center post. The seat adjusts nicely and the threads show little wear. The condition is as found. There are two wood reinforcements attached to the bottom of the stool seat by the previous owner. The center post and the three cast iron legs have received a past coating of black paint. The gold fabric is clean and free ... moreof any odors. The cast iron legs are free of any damage. No cracks or breaks. The stool is sturdy, does not rock or wiggle. It will make a nice addition to any setting. VINTAGE VICTORIAN CAST IRON VANITY FIRESIDE PIANO BENCH BOY PIPER FIGURE I recently purchased this bench at local estate sale. It measures approximately 12 3/4" x 24 1/2" and is 17 1/2" tall. There are two cast iron side frames and one cast iron bar that joins the two frames. The frame is bolted to the wood padded seat. I pulled several staples and pulled back what looks to be newer upholstery to see what was underneath. There was only a small amount of edge material still nailed to wooden platform. It was a faded red velvet fabric and I would think it was what was original. I re-stapled the fabric. It would be simple to change out the fabric to match your decor. The coat of paint on the cast iron frames is worn. It is black with minimal gold gilding. There is an uneven lacquer type of coating remaining over the black and gold. ... moreThere is an embossed pied piper on the oval medallion of each frame. The piper is on all sides. The bench's feet look like small lion feet. It is strong and sturdy and would make a nice piano. Hallway or vanity seat. It is quite heavy. It will weigh packaged over 27 lbs.
