Vintage Heavy& Sturdy Steel Stool The metal on this great stool ha s a lovely aged patina. It is olive green with some rust. And one leg has a splash of some brighter green. The seat is newer, and it is black with some wear on the edges which reveals a beige undercoat. This is an extremely sturdy stool- the steel is quite heavy with the piece weighing about 17 pounds. The stool is technically adjustable. Although I am not selling it as such because once the top is raised, the leg parts do not align to be able to reattach the bolts and nuts. 50s Royal Metal MFG Industrial Shop Chair Stool Adj Height 360 Swivel on Casters
Nice. Solid all-steel 1950s Shop Stool by Royal Industrial Seating/ Royal Metal MFG Co. This chair works just like it should. I don't believe the casters are original. But they are older and they work fine(I'd just WD40 them so they swivel most freely) The seat deck has an adjustable height from 22" to 28" which also works fine, but the original lock twist is missing and replaced with a finger twist screw that does the same thing. Otherwise this Industrial Shop Stool is entirely original. 360 degree rotation, and the seat back is also adjustable. Solid, heavy welded steel in machine gray with wooden deck seating plank firmly in place. Labeled on the underside as shown. Nice industrial adjustable chair by the Toledo Metal Furniture Company. The back is adjustable up and down along with the height of the chair is also adjustable. As it sits right now it measures 30" from ground to top of the back and the seat is 18" tall. Antique Machine Age Shop Factory STOOL Industrial Metal Heavy Duty
Old stool with plenty of life left in it. Stool stands approximately 21 inches in height and seat being 12 inches in diameter. Lot of uses for this- great for art displays. Etc. Top has been repainted as there are some splotches of red especially on the bottom of the seat. Some dings in paint add to the charm of this vintage item. I will be near Chicago on 4 Oct. Ask about delivery. Standard Pressed Steel Hallowell metal stool chair industrial toledo uhl era 40 Material is steel and birch plywood. With the original military green steel finish. The makers stamp is present on the seat underside. Its in as found condition. And can be used as is. I did some light cleaning to it. And ran the seat adjuster up and down. Heavy duty factory type item. About the SPS or Standard Pressed Steel Company In 1903 Howard T. Hallowell and Harald F. Gade. A Norwegian engineer, along with their friends and relatives, started the Standard Pressed Steel Company. The company still exists and makes high tech metal items. In 1920 the Standard Pressed Steel Company moved its operations to one site in Jenkintown. A Philadelphia suburb that remained the firm's headquarters in the decades ... moreahead. Workers at the plant needed many work benches, so the company started making not only work benches but also other shop equipment, such as shelves and cabinets, that were sold to other companies. Thus was born the new line of SPS products. Dimensions in inches: 16 wide x 14.8 deep seat. The seat height is 22.8 front and 21.2 rear. And can be adjusted to slope a little. The chair back adjusts in height 3 inches. And is 34.5 tall at its highest setting. The backrest can be unbolted and left off. And will be removed for shipping. The feet are 13.8 wide where they rest on the floor. Weighs 14 pounds. Will fit in a 18 x 18 x 24 box. For lower shipping costs Condition: Its got its original military green steel finish. Which looks good. Its not bent or flawed. But could use a wire wheel cleaning at the feet. The plywood seat has stains in the wood grain. The plywood seat looks good. But could stand a sanding and fresh varnish/ linseed oil/ lacquer finish. The plywood is not perfectly smooth. But could be sanded smooth. I will leave any more restoration to the new owner. Vintage Industrial Metal Wood Seat Swivel Adjustable Shop Factory Stool
For auction is an amazing vintage industrial shop stool with a cadmium red painted steel base and a solid oak seat. This stool has it all; beautiful combination of materials. Wonderful primitive industrial design, fantastic details, and perfect patina. It has been thoroughly cleaned and detailed. The seat height is adjustable and swivels freely. The base, while full of odd angles, is solid and sits flush to the floor. The joints are held together with buck rivets, though two have been replaced with slotted bolts near the top. The wood seat has a small chunk missing near the edge, but it has worn smooth and is free of splinters. Due it's age and use, the seat does wobble some and tilts slightly, but it is still comfortable to sit in. The finish is worn and covered in tiny paint spots, but is all the more beautiful for it. All welds are in good condition. Panel set is attached and in good condition with character marks.This is a solid well-built sturdy item. It does show wear from use but. In good vintage condition. Shows some signs of rust but not rusted through. All leg caps are intact and in good condition. This is an original item purchased from a school auction. Vintage Industrial Operators Chair Machine Shop Drafting Wood Metal Bar Stool
A very cool estate find to offer. Super solid construction. Screw adjustable height. Wood seat frame shows wear from daily use. Once upon a time. Original caning is weakening in spots but still has life left. I am 180 lbs and have been using it for last few weeks as occasional chair. The back is equally sturdy and excellent and may be bake lite. Paint is in really good condition throughout. Time to go. Do check pics for further details. 3 Tall Antique Vtg Industrial Metal Shop Bar Stools w/Wood Seats Nice Patina
For auction is a gorgeous set of three antique metal stools with solid wood tops. They are in beautiful original condition. And have been thoroughly cleaned and detailed. The frames are sturdy and all sit level with the floor. They are held together with buck rivets, and all of the joints are solid. The frames are all a dark pewter-y steel color, and have a nicely burnished patina. The seats are all solid oak with mismatched yet complimentary finishes. While the seats have not been refinished, they have all been given a fresh coat of Danish oil to rejuvenate their appearance. One seat has a number stamped into the top. One frame has an additional diagonal support that the others do not, but the frame is otherwise identical. The best feature of any of these is the yellow stencil lettering painted on one of the stool legs which reads"MOTION& ... moreTIME STUDY LAB" They measure 30" tall, and the seats are 13.5" in diameter. These beautiful stools are an elegant mix of industrial and rustic and would look fantastic at a home kitchen counter. Or in a restaurant/retail setting.
